Nice bunch of really old bottles. You've got a great spot to dig and explore. I love the looks of the bush area you are in, such a unique environment. I'm looking forward to seeing what else you pull out of the ground there! -Paleoman52-
Thanks mate, most bottles around my area and many other areas in oz are either just below the surface or laying on the open ground.... in the bigger towns and cities they are buried pretty deep... hopefully one day I will find a marble bottle
Thanks Mud, most bottles in my area and around australia are just below the surface, I hope to get part 2 done tomorrow mate, which will be photos of the bottles etc
That was a very British bottle dump indeed . That Cottage Ink is lovely . I actually got Uni Posca paint pends , and painted the Ink Well to look like a house . Then sprayed fixative on it . Oh my got a Lysol style brown poison ! Damn them Broken Codd's !
Hopefully mate I will put them all on display again... but will go to the markets in the future and sell alot of doubles etc... dont find nothing like what you'd find around Kalgoorlie mate... thanks mate for commenting
Amazing bottles !! I wish I was a man of money I'd make some offers... I've watched dozens of American bottle digs and your finding more in 5 min then they find the entire dig !! Great site !! Keep @ it and HH !!
yep, I knocked my hand a few times mate, always cutting myself and too lazy to wear gloves, or maybe just too excited to get in and do some digging... gloves are always in the car though... wearing them when I do my scrapping mate, thanks for asking mate
Some beaut bottles Billy. I'm sure your gunna score some rippers here. Like you,we used to shoot or slingshot so many bottles as kids it makes me cry now as a collector to think what we destroyed. Good luck buddy.
Give me time mate I have very little time to go through my bottles etc as they are all packed away. But I am doing a new comp tonight to win boxes of nice chemist bottles etc
Heaps there mate and you only scratched the surface. What do you do with them all? I use to collect them when I lived in Kalgoorlie but ended up with to many and know where to put them I think they ended up in boxes for a few years before getting garage saled.
Hey Billy, aRustyPatina here, RUclips lost my avatar. "You've got Red on You..." Cut your left middle knuckle, eh?!? Watch your HAND Tools my friend!! Great stuff as always. Best insurance is protection of your body. Take care Billy "The Bottle Breaking Kid". W.
Hey mate, love ya vids. If you haven't got onto it ready, I recommend getting yourself a typical short D-handle garden fork, and then cutting the two outer prongs off. Perfect tool for undermining and turning over soil before digging it up.
Haha, mate I was the best slingshot guy in my town as a kid ... except for the aboriginal kids were really good using them... we used to hunt birds to eat

Great finds, just under the earth waiting to be found! What was once peoples rubbish - has become rare & collectable in time. I've found a few old bottles over here (Switzerland) and some of the old beer bottles from small breweries, bring big money; What was the rarest beer bottle you've found?
Hey Billy, hope your doing well mate. Hey I've been getting into bottle digging. Any chance you could tell me where this is? Happy to give you my email to reply .
