Judging by the description in the Supports, I tend to assume that it's not quite the same chess as we're used to on Earth - probably a bit more complicated in some areas, I'd imagine - but that might just be because it seems like Robin would want to lean a bit more on the side of realism here... and there are other such strategy games from eastern countries, where FE is made (and chess originated in India IIRC).
My guess is that either Robin based the game off an established chess-like equivalent, or did invent a more primitive variant of chess (one which may in time adopt our rules, but hasn't as yet). Who can say for certain though, the details ARE vague enough that it could go either way, really...

So, what will these guys be doing for the child/father supports? Will they just be doing all the fathers? I know most of them have at least minor changes (and some have significant changes, such as Owain/Henry where unlike every other father, Henry doesn't run from the archers and is implied to have wiped them out), but a majority of them are the same dialogue after all.

now after watching this even though I have all ready seen these without voice acting I want to see all of them with voice acting
i love virion he is my favorite characters
so when i run through the game again i will play these conversations over my game just because this has a much better impact than reading the text in my own voice

I know Alex retired from Countdowns, but is he still doing other RUclips stuff? It'd be a shame to see him leave for good.
I recall him saying in one of his update videos before the final countdown; That he'll mostly do behind-the-scene work from now on, however I think he agreed to still do cameo's and help out in other collaborators videos like Josh's. I understand how you feel about him not making countdowns anymore though, but at least they're still up on his channel.
