The more of Virion's supports I see, the more I start to like him. In my opinion he is one of the most under appreciated characters. From his supports with Panne you also learn that he didn't run from Walhart because he was a coward. Walhart was about to crush his people and he wanted them to surrender and save their lives, but they chose to fight and die for him instead. In order to try to save them, Virion fled, hoping that this would cause his people to give up and surrender (which would save their lives). He knew that his people would hate him for running and he would appear to be a coward but he only thought of saving them. The dude embraced a life of shame and mocking from others for the sake of his people. He's a stud.
Virion is immune to Tharja's curses???ohh everything makes sense now.. If Virion fathered Noire,, that would justify why Tharja is using her as guinea pig for her curses and stuffs... because she has the bloodline of Virion.... I smell like it's a "C"..
I think this is my favorite Tharja support ever (if not the best support)... even Virion is open about his past and there is no mention of Robin at all! Considering that Tharja practices her hexes on Noire...and the fact that Noire is an archer like Virion.... THIS IS CANON!!!
Benjamin gutierrez oriol Not exactly. The default class of the child character does not guarantee a relationship, as shown by how severa mentions that she intentionally avoided becoming a Pegasus knight due to how constantly being compared to her mother bothers her.
Virion may be a womanizer, but he's not Inigo. He's legitimately a nobleman with noble intentions, and is fully aware of what being a nobleman entitles.
If we also take Noire's supports with her father, how at the end he swiftly runs away from enraged Tharja after stealing her cursing implements, I personally have only two words to add: "Virion AWAY!"
Virion is my favorite character in the game (aside from Inigo). He's hilarious, has a personality nobody can hate, reliable in combat, and is just plain awesome.
IMO this one is canon. Too many hints. Japanese name Viõru - sounds like violet - Noire is a shrinking violet and an archer just like Virion who says in Future Past 1, if Virion is the father, that the bow the Risen took from her was her memento of him. Tharja asks Virion to LIVE, and we should remember how Tharja went berserk when Noire's fahter died in the bad future.
Дмитрий Шапошников You're a diphshit for sure. It's not Viōru, it's vioru. Which means Viaur; a well known river in France, which could explain him being an obvious reference to this country. Secondly, it's not because some kid has a certain class that they share it with their parents. Kjelle has Kellam's class, does it make her her daughter? I don't think so. Nothing except Sumia x Chrom is canon in this game. The player's choice prevails.
Another hint is Virion's resistance to hexes. If Noire inherited this trait, that migh explain why Tharja used her daughter for hex-testing - in order to perfect her hexes. And she succeeded up to the point that even Virion was not immune anymore. And if Noire is hex-resistant, that means lesser toll on the body and greater potential for being a curse slinger,
now wait a second....you get both Virion AND Tharja BEFORE Walhart attacks his country....did this game manage to spoil itself or was this an over sight by game developers who thought no one would pair these two up....
I'm pretty sure that right before the Walhart story arc begins, and you get Cherche, it is revealed that Virion was driven off by Walhart years ago, before his major conquests and expansions began. This happened before the first arc, hence why Virion became one of the Shepherds back then. His story just became relevant later on in arc two. Seeing that his flight was an embarrassment, he likely wouldn't have shared his story until he needed to, hence why we just learn of this situation at the beginning of arc two.
actually, not counting my avatar or the family (I played female and married Chrom), Olivia was my best. I didn't find the dance useful, so I changed her into assassin class, and I swear with every Lethality, I got more excited than the Smash 4 announcement.
why he took the blow? cause pushing people aside makes you invunerable tharja.... do you even know the way this game works? Have to say... this one shows a deeper side to virion then the one I choose.
Umm... wouldn't it be possible that the A rank support conversation could happen before the 2 year time skip when Walhart invades? ... Then Virion is remembering Walhart's invasion before it happened...
yeah, I'm seriously thinking this was an oversight on the game makers end. I'm just going to go with the idea that they thought NOONE would ever pair these two up.
According to the official Awakening comics which are considered canon, the Walhart campaign started just before the events of Awakening got rolling. Cherche stays behind to defend Rosanne and keep Virion's pursuers off of him while he flees in order to keep his people from taking up arms in his name and getting slaughtered by the Valmese Empire. As he explains two years later, he fled to Ylisse and happened upon the Shepherds when the Risen first showed up after the Outrealm Gate opened thanks to Lucina. Virion didn't ask for help until 2 years later probably because he thought Walhart would stop at Valm and not continue across to take Ferox, Plegia, and Ylisse as well. Also, yes, 2 years is a long time for Cherche to be fighting a losing battle, but you have to remember that Valm is a huge continent, and there were resistance movements from Chon'sin (before Yen'fay sided with Walhart to protect Say'ri) and other areas across it. The resistance may not have stopped Walhart's conquest, but they could have slowed it down seeing how he and Cervantes couldn't lead every battle.
***** It could also be suggested that Virion involving himself with the Shepherds and his association/flirtations with Ylisse nobility was favor gathering so he could get military support to reclaim Rosanne. He'd prove his metal in the Shepherds and gain their support that way, while he'd gain nobility support through diplomacy/shameless flirtation. Also, if all of Ylisse's elite favored him, they'd be more inclined to support his efforts in saving his land.
You know, the first thought that crossed my mind seening this video for the first time was: "This guy is just messing with her (Tharja)". It turned out I was right ^_^
Wow, this time he doesn't come across as a total arse. I'm considering this pairing for my second play-through, given Noire's starting class it seems fitting... perhaps the writers had this in mind.
I support tharja with henry because of theyre polar opposites personality-wise, but seeing this conversation I am conflicted on who I ship now, it would explain why shes an archer, but her personality is like tharja and Henry's x2
Venus Adeptisaac Maybe she realized that she sucked at curses so she didn't teach her because of that? If you look at pretty much any of her supports she completely fails at cursing anyone from what I gathered, they are all messing with her.
The more of Virion's supports I see, the more I start to like him. In my opinion he is one of the most under appreciated characters. Brian Clarkson I do like that about him, I would probably do the same.
I like his blue hair, I always love characters with exotic hair colors (purples, greens, pinks, etc)
the epitome of noblesse oblige
He is the archest of archers after all
When he says virion away.... I can literally imagine him stealing Sumia`s Pegasus then flying off to do shit.
Virion, AWAAAAAY!
Virion needs Miles Edgeworth's shocked expression-ish sprite for this game
Kewosh is me Too bad the only thing that moves in their sprites is faces.
Yeah it would be really cool if their arms moved or heads tilted etc
Thank you i thought i was the only one getting edgeworth vibes
Virion is immune to Tharja's curses???ohh everything makes sense now.. If Virion fathered Noire,, that would justify why Tharja is using her as guinea pig for her curses and stuffs... because she has the bloodline of Virion.... I smell like it's a "C"..
Sherwin Odchigue I think Gaius is immune too...although looking at other supports I think she just sucks at curses...
Frederick is also practically immune.(Stahl on the other hand isn't, and does whatever she wants)
It makes no fucking sense. If they're immune they can't be cursed for shit
I think this is my favorite Tharja support ever (if not the best support)... even Virion is open about his past and there is no mention of Robin at all!
Considering that Tharja practices her hexes on Noire...and the fact that Noire is an archer like Virion.... THIS IS CANON!!!
maybe believe thing :/
Benjamin gutierrez oriol No, Virion is the canon father of Inigo
Isaac Agullana Oh yeah, that support with Olivia is really good too
Benjamin gutierrez oriol Not exactly.
The default class of the child character does not guarantee
a relationship, as shown by how severa mentions that she
intentionally avoided becoming a Pegasus knight due to
how constantly being compared to her mother bothers her.
Tharja can reclass to archer, so Noire didn't need to learn it from Virion.
A support, "or else ill stitch that mouth shut as well"virion: "I would gladly hold my tongue so long it holds yours as well" *shot* *cursed* #worthit
Man that's probably why she was super pissed when he died in Noire's timeline..
Virion may be a womanizer, but he's not Inigo. He's legitimately a nobleman with noble intentions, and is fully aware of what being a nobleman entitles.
Virion is litterally too good for her
Did she just... forget about Robin?
If we also take Noire's supports with her father, how at the end he swiftly runs away from enraged Tharja after stealing her cursing implements, I personally have only two words to add: "Virion AWAY!"
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 That’s funnier than it should be
'All hail...ME. :D'
Oh Virion.
one of the best supports
Knave Ben id ship it
Virion is my favorite character in the game (aside from Inigo). He's hilarious, has a personality nobody can hate, reliable in combat, and is just plain awesome.
Ugh this one reminds me of The Princess Bride with all the "As you wish"es. Silly OTPs.
tharja pushes him down a hill.
virion: asss yyoouu wwiisshh.

The Goth and the Ladies Man. Ha! love it.
4:15 Guess this is where they got the idea of Niles.
And built upon from there.
actually, not counting my avatar or the family (I played female and married Chrom), Olivia was my best. I didn't find the dance useful, so I changed her into assassin class, and I swear with every Lethality, I got more excited than the Smash 4 announcement.

Have to say... this one shows a deeper side to virion then the one I choose.
These are probably the funniest supports
+MesprittheDigimon Tiki and Anna are funnier.
John Frank They were funny, but this was too good.
I swear, " Virion, away! " should've been a meme.
MesprittheDigimon I don't find this one all that funny.
John Frank Someone has no taste.
MesprittheDigimon Hello, pot. Meet kettle.
If you compare Virion and Noire's Avatar love confession pictures, Virion and Noire have almost the same pose.
Virion's skill made Noire one of the best members on my first playthrough.
Umm... wouldn't it be possible that the A rank support conversation could happen before the 2 year time skip when Walhart invades? ... Then Virion is remembering Walhart's invasion before it happened...

Serenity2Witchs in other words, virion was a fire emblem protagonist in the making,
You know, the first thought that crossed my mind seening this video for the first time was: "This guy is just messing with her (Tharja)". It turned out I was right ^_^
Is he not a thing of beauty?
I thought she would torture him, or threaten. Tharja actually capable of love. No way! Lmao!
Wow, this time he doesn't come across as a total arse. I'm considering this pairing for my second play-through, given Noire's starting class it seems fitting... perhaps the writers had this in mind.
...OH NO ITS CUTE
Wow Virion, you're kinda cool.
I support tharja with henry because of theyre polar opposites personality-wise, but seeing this conversation I am conflicted on who I ship now, it would explain why shes an archer, but her personality is like tharja and Henry's x2
Lesser toll - stronger dark magic - greater risk and danger.
Tharja has to be the WORST dark mage ever. Her curses never work.
N Slater, they do work on Stahl.(I've only seen her virion, Frederick, and Stahl supports)
Connor W. Stahl is almost as dumb as a pile of bricks AND his Resistance sucks!
Virion AWAY!!!
also he's not Gaara.
No. Virions country surrendered before you ever get him. The only reason why he's on the continent of Ylisse was because Walhart forced him to flee.
I used to think Virion was full of shit and he was a total womanizer but after this support I was like holy crap he is chivalrous!
so that's why Noire seemed broken to me on my first playthrough.
Hahahah i laughed my ass off at this
+Nate Dog This is my favorite support so far, it's funny and then slowly gets sweeter.
As it gets sweeter it gets funnier
Henry could do better.
third
But Tharja never taught Noire how to curse since she said it may put Noire in danger.
Venus Adeptisaac Maybe she realized that she sucked at curses so she didn't teach her because of that? If you look at pretty much any of her supports she completely fails at cursing anyone from what I gathered, they are all messing with her.
