Beautiful setup. Not sure if "University" is how I would describe it though. I think the desk alone is worth more than what most college/university students are willing/able to pay for in their setups. My setup in college was a desktop pc thrown together from secondhand parts, on whatever desk came with the dorm I lived in.
Most uni students dont give an f about saving and using their money in a smart way, they prefer spending money on parties every week, fast food and alcohol.. I have been working since school and saving since then, just got myself a new PC with an RTX4090 with these savings and still have a lot left... Uni students just need to start acting like adults, I am also doing a very intensive subject one which ppl may say its the hardest of all so there are no excuses saying uni students cant work, and I'm not naturally smart, just hard working.. Students have a tone shit amount of funding yet they prefer spending it on stupid things...
Fully agree, finally I found similar perspective, as..sure, I am going lately through some videos on the desk setups, but every time when I'm googling e.g. the office chair from video, I'm like "daaaaaayyyuumm, this herman miller chair is goddamn pricey!". So..well, there are two sides of this Eather are not focused about specific things to buy and you are keeping this all practical (because a lot affordable stuff works maybe just as well as those expensive geeky stuff), or you are spending some more time and money, collecting those items, which you specifically picked, which is also great, as this is human thing, that likes to surround himself with nice stuff. I will have my new flat very soon and will have such debate with myself for sure :D
@@LoucaoHop Yeah spending your money on a fucking overpriced toy like a graphics card is the 'grown up' thing to do, right? Lol. A really great video, keep it up. This setup and gear for university, it's just mind blowing. I can't even afford to have something like this even after years of working.
I love your selection of gadgets and the professional style that characterizes your setup, especially for the nice effect produced by the accent lights. I think I need a keyboard and speakers like those for my new Protractor desk from Manhattan Home Design. Thanks for the reviews!
It’s interesting, this is a very nice setup. My university days were pre-broadband/fast internet, and I didn’t have a connection in my halls, so the desk was pads, books, an Anglepoise lamp and a small transistor radio, I spent most of the time in the library mind you.
For such a small channel, you do a really great job on your video and presentation Well done! And nice desk setup. I am obviously looking for some inspiration to sort out my mess of an office! Cheers.
This is really well put together. You had a decent bit of thought into it, it's pretty cool :) Sometimes I see setups like this and I genuinely wonder how someone this age can afford...any of it really. It's hard for me to comprehend having money to save up for things like this. But I don't mean to dismiss your enjoyment of your space. It's pretty cool.

Great setup! The thumbnail definitely intrigued me! Definitely an interesting choice using the sm57 for voice as I only use them when setting up live musicians. Normally it's used for a instruments as it's not that bright of a sound and it might make the voices a bit more muffled. Especially if you're plugging it in directly into the audio interface without the ability to equalize like a mixer would. Good video though :) thanks for the other gadgets, I'm setting up my own office setup soon!
Appreciate it! The wallpaper I linked is just the image without the text, since the text translates to “(my girlfriend’s name) is stupid” so I thought it was a bit weird to share haha
I love the gadgets you chose! I'm going to Uni soon, and I've been watching a ton of uni desk set ups and so far this is my favorite. Thank you! :) Also, I liked and subbed! I hope your channel grows!
Hi I really loved the video and I'm glad I stumbled upon it. what I loved the most is the wallpaper which I tired to get via the link provided but it doesn't seem to work. would you mind providing the link? thank you and keep up the great work.
Hello, so I'm no audio expert, but I think the mic could sound even better if you point it facing your mouth. Currently its a little to the side, but if it were facin your mouth directly, I think it couls sound better.
It is indispensable to have a desk set up for uni. The best students in my class where people who put in the time to study, they where mostly in the library, in good weather they where outside in the blazing sun. They did not give a shit about their environment they just put in the work, absolute machines.
What kind of student are you? I am just wondering because I got my Mac as well recently for my software development degree and it seems like Mac isn't for this degree unfortunately !
I gotta say, I got a pretty similar setup. Though leaning more towards gaming with a stationary pc and high quality audio enjoyment through headphones. Nice choices there, bud
This setup is awesome; but I have one big question, what is that chair? I have been looking for a leather small desk chair, and it looks perfect, but I can never find ones which meet my requirements, so I really want to know so I can check it out.
Well the switches do make a huge difference - depending on the material in the switch, if it's a silenced or not, how you've lubed it or not. So saying it makes no difference is a load of BS.
I disagree to an extent, whilst switches definitely changes the sound profile, for a non enthusiast, outside of the difference between tactile, clicky and linear, the majority would not be able to tell the difference unless it was a side by side comparison. I was commenting on how many people entering the hobby believe that by simply changing their cherry reds to gateron blacks, their Corsair keyboard will sound thocky or custom. Just my two cents
do you always use in clampshell mode or unplugged as well? and do I need to worry about any charging pattern? I have recently gone to all apple. please reply
I always use clamshell mode, and apple already has protocols built in to prevent the laptop from charging all the way if it’s constantly plugged in, so I don’t worry about it
I don’t know of a specific video but you just put the clip over your typing and use a suitable blend mode to make it translucent. I also used some focal blur to make it blend better
Woah I did not expect this video to hit 500k 🎉

Dude how’d you do the text overlay for the sound test bit? Can you point me to a tutorial?
Which one dya think is more productive? Dual monitor setup or ultrawide monitor?
I think general use definitely ultra wide, but if you have a specific need for the second one then go for that!

Hi, really need to know. How did you split the windows up like you did at 3:37 ? Would love to know
Rectangle app. It's the only good free one I think, the others are paid.
I wondered this too. It’s so shocking to me that Windows doesn’t have a mode for splitting into 3 equal parts. It does everything else 😂
The airpod maxxes are terrible for sound quality, and so is the mic. If you were to upgrade both of those you would have a perfect setup.
I definitely agree with the mic being bad, but I originally bought it for guitar haha. I'm too sweaty to use xm4s
What was the background music you used?
Hi Man, nice video :) wgich kind of adjustment did you made to the xiaomi lamp to fit the screen? thank you
