Your recycling of papers including magazines and labels and layering of pages is inspiring. I will definately be using the composition notebook to clean my brayer. Brava!
I like how you showcased all the artwork you created during the video at the end. Showing two contrasting creations next to each other reminds and inspires viewers of the variety that can be made. Much better presentation than video #1.
I really loved this tutorial! I bought a gelli plate over two years ago, ( mine is not a Gelli brand...) and I tried it for a night or two, but just could NOT get it. All my prints came out gloppy and muddy and I just did not enjoy the process at all. It seemed such a waste of paint to me, and I was so disappointed after watching a bunch of YT videos. But, after watching your videos, it makes more sense to me now. And your ideas about using magazine pages, and how you save pages and layer over them is fantastic! I guess I just didn't understand the process. I was either getting too much paint or not enough and my prints were coming off either with tons of paint or sticking to the plate when I tried to use less. I think I will save this two-part tutorial so I can get my plate back out (if I can find it!) and try it one more time. Watching your various videos is really making me want to give mixed media a try again. Thanks so much for sharing your talent and knowledge with people like me who are struggling and want so desperately to be able to create pieces that we can be proud of.
The concept of hello printing directly on address labels just changed my life. I don't have a gelli plate yet but I have printed color images from a computer on labels to make stickers but this is next level!!!!
Yay, I’m so glad you enjoyed it! Printing on labels is super fun! It’s best to print them when the paint is wet - ghost prints (the second pull) don’t work as well because the labels will often stick to the plate and are removed from the sheet when the print is pulled. You will love your Gelli plate! Happy creating! 😊
I have always wondered about what Gelli printing was all about. Thank you so much for this video. It really helped me understand how they are used and now I want to go out and get one.
My pleasure, Vivian. 😊 These gel plates aren’t usually available in stores. You’re best bet is to order one online. I have several sizes available in my Amazon shop, if you’re in the US. Here’s a link for you: www.amazon.com/shop/cathand
Just got my Gel plate and I am SOO EXCITED to use it today!! Thank you so much for sharing your videos!!! I wanted to watch this one to refresh my memory I am going to have so much fun today!!!
very timely. I was just looking at my jelli plate this week and wondering how to do it. thanks for sharing. I love how you do not waste any paper or paint. Donna
Every time I think, "Oh no, it's perfect the way it is, don't do any more!", you do more, and it's even better!!! I've ordered a gelli plate and I'm waiting for it to arrive...I can't wait to dive in.
These are amazing! I scored a bunch of Avery labels from the thrift store and now I know what to do with them. Your pages turned out so beautiful. Your videos are the best I've seen so far on how to use the Gelli plates.
Your gelli prints turned out beautiful. They are just so much fun that once you start printing it is very hard to quit as each one becomes so unique. I let my 4 & 10 yr. old grandsons make some gelli prints and I created a paper monster with the 4 yr. old as he just didn't want to stop (he made some interesting choices in color, etc.).
Lots of beautiful prints. Love your color combos. The toe separator is a cool mark making piece. Gonna go pull mine. I've never seen the square bubble wrap before. Love the effect it gives.
Hi Cat I am new to your channel. So glad I found you. I recently purchased a Gelli plate and your tips and techniques have been most helpful! Your pages are so beautiful! I spent most of the day today watching your videos 😍thank you for sharing your talent. I am inspired.
Thanks so much, Yvette, and welcome to my channel! I'm so glad my videos have been helpful and inspiring. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment. 😊
CAT THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!! Now I really understand how to do the Gelli Plate. I bought one after watching your videos in which you use gelli prints. Just received it and its still in the box because I've been nervous about wasting paints and paper NOW i will follow your video and learn. Love all of your works :D what an inspiration you are TFS
+JBaum Oh, I'm so glad my videos helped you! Yay!! It really is fun and once you start, you won't want to stop! And you can use all kinds of papers, too - magazines, book pages, newspapers, music sheets, etc. etc. Have FUN!! TFW! :)
I love them and got excited over the same ones you did lol I seriously need to get a gelli plate! Thanks so much for sharing! I just love seeing how they turn out.
+Cheri Peeples Thanks, Cheri! So glad you got excited about them, too! LOL It is really a LOT of fun, so I hope you will get one and get your gelli on! :D Thanks so much for watching! :)
While I've seen quite a few tutorials on Gelli printing, I like the results you got the best. Very pretty patterns, not only on your 'art piece' but also in that journal you keep. Thanks for the tips.
+LettieNugent.com Why, thank you very much! I'm so glad you enjoyed the videos. You're very welcome - thanks for watching and taking the time to leave a comment! :)
hey Cat here it is almost the last days of 2020 & watching this video you made in 2015 & its still very relevant for todays gelli printing....I hope 2020 will be a happy new year for you
Hello Cath really enjoyed the two videos, beautiful prints with things of every day like bubble. The magenta mixed with the green is just magical. One thing I really appreciate is that you do not throw anything and you use the paint until the last drop. That’s great. Thank you so much for that.
I have really enjoyed the videos and thank you for sharing them. I have only used my gel plate once and wasn't sure how to do it so you have inspired me to use it again and get my friends crafting with it too.
Thank you so much for posting these 2 videos, I really enjoyed watching them. I have a new Gelli printing plate and haven't used it yet. You gave me some great ideas regarding the tools you used and the types of paper. I never thought to use address label paper or magazine papers, thanks so much.
I'm so glad you enjoyed these videos Rebecca. And I sure hope that you'll soon take out your Gelli plate and get started making some fun prints! Thanks so much for watching and commenting. 😊
loved video's on how to use the label's and I'm going to have to find those mini-comp books, I didn't even know they existed. I've recently been participating in both postcard and ATC swaps and you are so right, great instant backgrounds. Thanks for all the great ideas :-)
I finally got me a small one! Kelly was such a sweat heart that she sent me one with some of the textures! I was so excited! I have been so sick and my art room has been torn apart from where I had started to redo it before the Holidays and never got finished yet! I still moving slow but I just had to grab my stuff and go to the kitchen table to try out my new Gelli plate! I was up all night playing with it last night! Trying to make a video but my phone had stopped on me so I will just make a video on what I did. I have a video up now on what she sent me if you want to go see it and like it for me. I am still new at all this making videos! Got a lot to learn! You are so right about space.. I found that I did not have enough space at all to lay out my work! I can't wait to play with it again!
Wow! Wow! Wow! Everything you do is magic! Magic Hands you r! Love your work don't think I can wait till Christmas to get a Gelli Plate, you make it so fun!
fantastic Cat always love watching your videos, gelli printing amazing best I'v seen to date tomorrow I will have a go with mine, you have inspired me to get back to it. Thanks for sharing
Thank you for posting this video. I really enjoyed both. Since one week i have the gelli plate, so i learned a lot from it. Sorry for (maybe) my bad english, but i am from the netherlands But most important, i understand everything you say. Thank you!!
Cat that's so awesome you are the best ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ it was not only helpful it was inspiring to. I really love ❤️ the impression made by the bowl and the bubble wrap...And the Scots tape roll too.... I'm going to have to get my self a gelli plate... thank you so much
love your idea of the composition book of unwasted paint! tfs!!! i'll definitely start using that instead of random sheets of paper that end up...idk where!
just letting videos stream while I work and caught this one. great prints. however, what I really want to see is a flip through of the composition book. wonderful pages. love the doodling I am seeing on them. tfs
I love these, my birthday is Thursday I am going to have to scrape together money to buy a gelli plate. It looks like so much fun, thank you for the inspiration
+Susan Jones Yay! You will love your gelli plate! There will be some not so purty prints, but just keep going, layering more and more until, you like them. 😊
These 2 video's on how to use the gelli plates are just what I needed to understand how to use them. Now I understand why everyone loves them so much! I'm definitely going to give it a try and can see how it will be addicting, the possibilities are endless. this may be a stupid question but what do you do with the labels after you print on them? do you peel one or two off and use it in journals? I also love the different ways you use the brayer when you stamped off to create pages in your composition book. Thank you for all the great ideas :)
Thanks, Kristen. Yes, gelli printing is so much fun and is very addicting! You can use the painted labels on anything you want, really. Here's a link to another video I did that shows a couple of uses for them: ruclips.net/video/pqYPfYHcqoo/видео.html Thanks so much for watching! 😊
Thank you for doing the gelli print videos. I had no idea what it was and I heard it mentioned in a few other videos so I finally searched to see what it was, and your videos were very helpful. Enjoyed! Very creative! This was my first time watching you. I'm now a subbie...lol
Hi Joan! Welcome to my channel - I’m so happy to have you here! I’m glad you enjoyed my video and I appreciate you watching, commenting and subscribing! 😊
I was on the fence about getting into "gelli" printing. You totally sealed the deal for me. :-) So glad I found your vid. I'm now a new subscriber. Thanks so much for sharing your creativity w/ all of us!!! :-)
Thanks so much and welcome to my channel - I’m very happy to have you here! You will have so much fun with your gelli plate! I appreciate your watching, commenting, and subscribing! 😊😊😊
Thank you so much Cat Cat that’s so awesome and fantastic I really love 💕 all those prints you’ve made!!!!!! You’re channel is THE very best I’ve seen. I think it’s!!!!!!!!! Fantastic or really is superb and stunning xxx Mags
Cat, haven't had a chance to watch it all, but loved the square bubble wrap! And the idea with Avery labels. I've done everything else with them...why not gelli plate!! Also wanted to tell you I found an old music book...it's a book about music etc.. Its thin and large and is perfect for using as my blotter book (or whatever you call it). My problem is I am so used to using other things, I forget about it! but I see you have it laying out near where you are working. I'm going to have to do that. Can't wait to watch more. On my way to teach in Virginia Beach!! :)
When I watched part 1, I was wondering if the labels ever stuck to the gelli plate when you pull the print. I guess you answered that question! LOL When you covered that green and yellow magazine print with the magenta/pink print....LOVE IT!!!! That is so stinkin' cool!!! And then the ghost print on the labels was even better! You should scan those into your computer so you can still use the whole print that you got...or maybe even share them with your friends. ;-) I really like the idea of using magazine pages, because it's always sad to throw them out once you've gleaned them for images. This way, they're still being used. And bonus....you don't have to buy paper!
+Lori H Oh, yeah, they will stick, especially on the last pull when the plate is almost dry and therefore, stickier... Yeah, I love the prints with the magenta added, too! I do make scans of them, when I remember to... The thing I like about using magazine pages is that some of the text and images show through and it adds a lot of interest. But you're right, it's good to use them up, too! TFW! Hugs! :)
I love your use of found paper, magazine pages, music sheets! I have been looking for a way to use wrapping paper, so this might work. Have you tried printing on cloth? I find I enjoy your composition book of unwasted paint as intriguing as your prints. Why do you have to use Gelli? Can it not be wood or styrofoam that comes with meat? I am going to try those, too. Thank you so much for sharing your ideas. For encouraging hope, fold them and use them as envelopes or stationery. I think they are beautiful. I would frame them and even make collages with them.
Thank you, Kathy. I have not tried printing on cloth, but I have plans to do so. You can make prints from any surface, but they won’t be like printing from a gel plate. It has something to do with the surface and the softness of the plate and I absolutely love using my gel plates! I use my prints for art journal backgrounds, cards, collage, etc. Thanks for watching and commenting! 😊
Have you thought of popping by the cake design section of a big store? There are a million "stamps" with all kinds of shapes you could use for this kind of work. Some are deep, for cookies & such. But some have the outlines of great & specific shapes. Just a thought. 😊
Thanks for these great videos! I am amazed that you are able to add layers of color without getting a muddy look. Maybe my paints are too transparent, or I spread them too thinly over my plate. Time for more experimentation. Thanks, as always, for the tips and inspiration.
+Tina Stoll Thanks Tina, and welcome to my channel! My pleasure - I'm so glad you enjoyed these videos. Thank you so much for watching, commenting and subscribing! :)
Thanks so much, Lynda and welcome to my channel! I’m so glad you enjoyed watching and are inspired to create some prints of your own. Beware: it can be addicting! 😊😊😊
Thanks, Kim. I use them as backgrounds for art journal pages and sometimes for cards, as well as tearing them into smaller pieces to use as collage material. You’ll see me using my painted papers in a lot of my videos. 😊
Loved every second. Love all of your prints. My two favorites are the red one and the one you loved so much and said was your favorite. I love those colors together and the design was great. :-)
Aw, I'm so glad you enjoyed it, Laurie! Yeah, I just love it when I pull a print that makes me wanna do a happy dance! So fun! Thanks so much for watching! 😊
Some of these could be scanned and sold as digitals. Especially the pink and green one on the tiny return labels sheet. I am a new subscriber and this is the first video I’m seeing from you, so I have no idea what else there is in your creative world.
Hello and welcome to my channel - I’m happy to have you here! Yes, I often scan my prints and have several listed in my Etsy shop as digital downloads: www.etsy.com/shop/MixedMediaMorsels Thanks so much for watching, commenting, and subscribing! 😊😊😊
Wonderful set of videos Cat. I got a smaller plate, 5" x 7" recently and I tried it out this afternoon while watching your videos. I got paint EVERYWHERE, lol. 😆 I did manage to get some nice prints using some stencils and cotton tips and bottle tops etc.. I tried some baking paper, you call it deli paper, but I didn't like how they took the paint up. Maybe I wasn't doing it right because they were the very first sheets I printed and I was afraid of the paint drying on the plate. Can I ask a question please? What do you do with your stencils in between making your prints? I don't know whether to just leave them and scrub them afterwards or clean the gelli plate and clean the stencils. I was moving fast afraid the paint on the plate would dry too much. You seemed very relaxed and took your time. I was a bit stressed out doing them. Thank you for making the videos, they have helped me more than you know. xx
+Dorothy Radley Thank you Dorothy - I'm so glad you enjoyed them. With a little practice you'll soon get a feel for the right amount of paint to use on your gelli plate. Deli paper here is not used for baking. It is VERY thin, like tissue paper, and it usually has a thin waxy coating on one side. The non-waxy side picks up paint very well. I usually don't clean my stencils with each use. I let the paint dry on them and after several uses, I soak them awhile and clean them then. I have to move quickly when using the gelli plate, too - so I have things organized within easy reach and that helps. Honestly, just keep playing and layering your prints - it gets easier and easier. 😊😊😊
thank you for the videos, I am a first time user of gelli printing and these helped a lot. Was wondering where you got the 12 x 12 leaf shaped stencil though really liked it?
+Manda Starr Thank you, Manda. That is a stencil by The Crafter's Workshop called Blazonry. I bought it online at Amazon. Thanks for watching and have fun gelli printing! 😊
Just got mine from Amazon just have to try the bubble wrap. Think I will try going to lowes and just walk through the pvc section don't have tape leftover. Lol
Thanks, Nancy! I love that square bubble wrap! It came in something that was shipped to me and I thought, ooooo I'm trying that on my gelli plate! 😊 Yes, keep at it, it does get easier! TFW! 😊
+Michelle S. Thank you , Michelle. Oh goodness, I use them for all sorts of things: art journal backgrounds, cards, I cut/punch shapes out of them for collage, I cut/tear them into strips for collage, make "washi" tape with them. Watch a few more of my videos and you'll see how I use them all the time! TFW! :)
This is so helpful, but I have a question if you don't mind me asking, I noticed there was some black paint left on the geli plate, do you leave this on till next time or clean it off? This always happens to me when I use mine, it never comes entirely clean. Many thanks, tfs x
+Elizabeth Naisbitt Don't mind at all! I usually leave paint on my gelli plate during the session so that previous colors will get picked up on new prints, but I always clean my gelli plate when I'm finished, before I put it away. I'm so glad you found this video helpful! TFW! :)
Cat, I am hooked and can't wait to get a Gelli plate. Is the plate pretty tough or do you have to be careful not to press too hard on things like the wrapper from the onions so that they don't leave permanent indentations in the plate itself? Also, do you have to work pretty fast to keep the paint from drying before you can pull the print? thanks for your detailed instructions! Lisa
Hi Lisa - Yes, the plate is pretty tough. Things like the plastic mesh and the other things I used are fine, because you're only putting minimal pressure on the plate as you make your print. The most important thing is to store the Gelli plate in the package it comes in and lay it on a completely flat surface and don't put anything on top of it. If you store it on an uneven surface you could get marks left in it, same thing if you pile stuff on top of it. You do need to work quickly to keep the paint from drying (and this also depends on how much paint is used) but it's pretty easy as long as you have all your supplies together and nearby while you're working. It is so much fun and I hope you enjoy yours! Thanks so much for watching! 😊
Thanks so much! 😊 The gel plate is from Gelli Arts (8x10 inches) and the brayer brand is Speedball (4 inches). I have several of these items in my recommended products here: www.amazon.com/shop/cathand
How do you use the labels after you gelli print them? They're very pretty but since this is the first time I've seen this, I wasn't sure what you'd do with them.
Well thank you for this video. I received my gelli plate more than 3 weeks ago but was too intimidated to use it ! Lol... Thanks to you, I finally got the courage to try :) I have a question though.. why doesn't my brayer roll on the gelli plate? It is fine when I clean it on paper but it doesn't work on the gelli plate. thank you
Yayy! I’m so glad you tried it! 😊😊😊 Your brayer should roll on the plate. The only thing I can think of is, if you have too much paint on the plate, maybe it’s just sliding because it can’t make contact with the plate...?
@@CatHand oh thank you so much for your answer. I thought maybe that could be the issue, although I didn't think there was a lot of paint. I will try again will less paint and see how it goes. I appreciate very much that you took the time to answer me. Thank you
Hi Becky - while you're gelli printing, you can just roll the paint off your brayer and go to the next color. When you're all finished printing, you can wash it with soap and water to get it clean. Murphy's Oil Soap works great - I get it in a spray bottle at my grocery store. I don't wash my brayer every time, but I do wash it occasionally because the paint does build up on it. It helps to let it soak for a little while, then it comes right off. Thanks for watching! 😊
+Debbie Collins Hi Debbie - yes, I do use them from time to time as backgrounds for cards, ATCs, index cards, journal pages. Sometimes I cut them up to use as collage material, too. TFW! :)
I love the idea of braying the extra paint directly into a composition book or other art journal instead of on loose paper as I would do.
Your recycling of papers including magazines and labels and layering of pages is inspiring. I will definately be using the composition notebook to clean my brayer. Brava!
I will never get tired of watching you gelli printing. Beautiful prints !!
Aw, thanks, Josie - what a sweetheart you are! I'm glad you enjoyed these videos and thank you so much for watching! 😊

What fun and a great help! I am new to gel plate printing. Thank you from 🇨🇦Calgary, Alberta🇨🇦

Thanks, Maggie - I'm so glad you found it both helpful and inspiring! Mono printing with a gel plate is a TON o' fun! :)
I will definitely start a similar composition book, I hadn’t thought of that before. Thanks for the tip.
My pleasure, Kerry-Lynn! I’m so glad you enjoyed the videos and found them helpful. 😊
love your idea of the composition book of unwasted paint! tfs!!! i'll definitely start using that instead of random sheets of paper that end up...idk where!
Thanks, Kay - I’m so glad you found it helpful! 😊
just letting videos stream while I work and caught this one. great prints. however, what I really want to see is a flip through of the composition book. wonderful pages. love the doodling I am seeing on them. tfs
+mjkozak Thank you! Here's a few videos I've done on the composition book: ruclips.net/p/PLzaNcrENNXOyrZgahGIiTtzVRYQTFkmzZ

Thanks, Elaine, and happy birthday on Thursday! It IS so much fun! So happy you feel inspired by my video! Thank you for watching! 😊
Awesome Cat! Just got my Gelli plate and checking for ideas. Thanks for sharing!!
I can't believe how clean your hands day when you do this LOL
By the end of a gelli printing session my hands are completely covered in paint 😂
LOL, baby wipes are my friends! 😊
Thanks for the great tips....had no idea you could use magazine pages. I just ordered a geli plate from Amazon...can't wait.
Oh wow, you're in for a treat! Just remember that if you don't like a print, keep layering new prints on top until you do! Have fun!
I love how you finished off that print that you used the Bowl on
Thanks, Pam - so glad you liked it. TFW!
Some wonderful prints and backgrounds. Sue💜
Cat, they are all great! And I agree with you, bubble wrap is the best! I've been using it for years to print on fabric. Margaret :D
Thanks so much, Margaret. Oh yeah, I think I love printing with bubble wrap as much as my grandkids like to make popping noises with it! LOL 😄 TFW!
It is now 3 am so yes, I have been entertained. It looks like my kind of fun. I will get myself a gelli plate have see if it can entertain me too.
+Patricia Ezzell Yes, a gelli plate is definitely entertaining! And addicting, LOL! Have fun! 😊
Thank you so much Cat
Cat that’s so awesome and fantastic I really love 💕 all those prints you’ve made!!!!!! You’re channel is THE very best I’ve seen. I think it’s!!!!!!!!!
Fantastic or really is superb and stunning xxx Mags
You’re too kind, Mags - thanks! 😊
Thanks Suzi! Yes, that book will be great for your brayer cleaning and to throw excess paint into. Have a lovely time on your trip! 😊
TFW! Hugs! :)
Thank you I am new to Geli printing so this was a great help. They turned out very cool.
+Susan Zimmerman You're welcome, Susan - glad you found it helpful. Thanks for watching! 😊
Thanks for sharing these great techniques to make such beautiful papers.
+blackitten2 My pleasure! Thank you for watching! :)
Love your prints .x💕
Thanks so much, Catherine! 😊
Thank you Cat, I did enjoy seeing you work, and the results are very pretty. Very helpful
Thank you, Vicki - so glad you enjoyed watching! 😊
Thank you again for another wonderful video. I could watch you all day! :-)
Thank you Julie! I'm so glad you enjoyed it! TFW! 😊
Have you thought of popping by the cake design section of a big store? There are a million "stamps" with all kinds of shapes you could use for this kind of work. Some are deep, for cookies & such. But some have the outlines of great & specific shapes. Just a thought. 😊
+GKPortugal Great idea, thanks! :)
Thank you Cat. Love your art and your ideas. You inspire me. lol. Thanks.
+Sandra Cook Thank you, Sandra. I'm very happy that I can provide you some inspiration! TFW! 😊
Thanks for these great videos! I am amazed that you are able to add layers of color without getting a muddy look. Maybe my paints are too transparent, or I spread them too thinly over my plate. Time for more experimentation. Thanks, as always, for the tips and inspiration.
Oh, I'm so glad you're enjoying them! Thanks so much for watching! 😊
Loving me the patterned fun foam idea. Will be trying that one on, for sure. OOXXOO Linda
Thanks Linda - so glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching! :)
Another great video! Thank you. I made my gel plate today, it's setting up now. I made it 9x12, I am dying to use it. TX again.
Thank you and thanks for watching!
hi cat - i loved looking your both basic gelli plate videos - great film!! thank you so much and dear greetings from Bavaria :D
+Tina Stoll Thanks Tina, and welcome to my channel! My pleasure - I'm so glad you enjoyed these videos. Thank you so much for watching, commenting and subscribing! :)
thank you again for another fantastic video, loved watching do each page. tfs big hugs Caroline xx
Aw, thanks Caroline - I really appreciate that! 😊
The bottom of the bowl reminded me of some kind of wild flower. I would love to see how you used the labels!
Thanks! Check my channel, there are videos that show how I use the labels. TFW! 😊
Yes I have checked your channel.. I sub to it :)
+Southern Angel Btq. Tammy Dameron (Southern Angels Boutique) Thanks so much for subscribing! 😊
You are welcome.. God bless!
I just found you and both videos were so fun! I sure want to do this! So pretty!! Thank you
Thanks so much, Lynda and welcome to my channel! I’m so glad you enjoyed watching and are inspired to create some prints of your own. Beware: it can be addicting! 😊😊😊
They turned out beautiful! I'm definitely going to put this on my wish list! It looks addictive!!! thanks again! xx Claudene
+mskaykrafts Oh, you will see how addictive it is!!! LOL No joke, it's hard to stop! :D
What do you do with all of the awesome papers you create??? Gotta know :)
Yes, I often scan my prints and have several listed in my Etsy shop as digital downloads: www.etsy.com/shop/MixedMediaMorsels
Thanks so much for watching, commenting, and subscribing!
Cat Hand d
thank you for the videos, I am a first time user of gelli printing and these helped a lot.
Absolutely love all your prints.
Can you remember where you got the big bubble wrap from? I've only ever managed to get the small one. Xxx
Thanks! 😊 I’m pretty sure I rec’d that square bubble wrap in a package that was shipped to me, but where it came from, I don’t remember…
Great prints, thanks for sharing! I was wondering where you purchased the tapered ellipse stencil you are using at the 13:47 point?
Thanks Michelle, my pleasure. That is a stencil called "Blazonry" - it's by The Crafters Workshop and I think I got it from Amazon. TFW! 😊
Just got mine from Amazon just have to try the bubble wrap. Think I will try going to lowes and just walk through the pvc section don't have tape leftover. Lol
Hope you have fun - I'm sure you will! 🙂
Purple Babble is my favorite
So you have a video off the notebook with the bigger adress stickers? I would love to see that also, because I only have large adress stickers!
Yes, I do... Here's a link for you: ruclips.net/video/pqYPfYHcqoo/видео.html
Ohhhhhhh I want square bubble wrap, lol!!! :) Gorgeous prints, Cat! I will keep trying and maybe I'll get better as I go. ;)
Thanks, Nancy! I love that square bubble wrap! It came in something that was shipped to me and I thought, ooooo I'm trying that on my gelli plate! 😊 Yes, keep at it, it does get easier! TFW! 😊
Thanks Cat for these excellent instructions and tips.. very helpful for a beginner like me! Tfs 😀
My pleasure, Lorraine. I’m so glad you found it helpful! 😊
Your gelli prints are great! Like watching your videos! TFS! :D
Thank you so much Almut! So glad you enjoy watching! TFW! 😊
Totally Awesome!! I would love to see more sometime!
Thank you Elizabeth - I'm sure I will be doing more gelli printing videos, so stay tuned! TFW! 😊
Cat, I love your creativity. You have a great eye! My question to you is, what do you do with the prints once they're finished?
TFW! :)
Lovely papers. I sure enjoyed learning new techniques. 😊
Thanks so much! I’m glad you enjoyed it! 😊
What brand and sizes are the gel pad and brayer- thanks,I love your work ❤️
Thanks so much!
I show a couple of ways to use the labels in this video: ruclips.net/video/pqYPfYHcqoo/видео.html
Love your enthusiasm and excitement as you discover how each new print turns out
Thank you I will be giving this a go very soon.
jb
Thank you
I have a question, after you run the tool on your paper, and you get the paint off. do you need to clean it more off with anything else? Thank you
Hi Becky - while you're gelli printing, you can just roll the paint off your brayer and go to the next color. 😊
Hi Cat! Just curious if you also use those pages from your composition book "un-wasted paint" for anything?
+Debbie Collins Hi Debbie - yes, I do use them from time to time as backgrounds for cards, ATCs, index cards, journal pages. Sometimes I cut them up to use as collage material, too. TFW! :)
Quedan muy originales, probaré hacer alguno.donde adquirir la base de silicona,? Vivo en España.😘😘
Compro mis placas de gel en Amazon.com. Espero que puedas encontrarlos en España. Gracias por ver. 😊
This is wonderful! What do you do with all of these gel prints? How can I use them?
encouraginghope you can use them for mix media
