It took a few days! The cutting of the plastic bags and sticking them together to make the roll of material took the longest.

Sorry we don't remember the exact number, because we used different sizes. But it's probably around 60-80 large plastic bags.
I hope the dress is not getting thrown away after having worn once.....the plastic waste
