Just a suggestion, I know that many people would be more interested in seeing the quality of Espresso shots rather than milk based brews, so we can see quality of coffee and crema, which is more important than the other stuff.
Thanks for your great videos!!!
Finally a video with Gail! So great to see you back!
sorry to be off topic but does anybody know of a tool to log back into an instagram account??
I was dumb lost the login password. I love any tricks you can give me.
@Jordan Toby instablaster ;)
@Kayson Terrance thanks for your reply. I found the site through google and I'm in the hacking process now.
I see it takes a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
@Kayson Terrance it worked and I now got access to my account again. I am so happy!
Thank you so much, you saved my account!
@Jordan Toby you are welcome :D
Gail you are the best! Always so helpful, and informative. Thank you!
These machines have been around for a while. I had the pleasure of having the access to one in the early 2k's. It never missed a beat. I'm waiting for one from aMaZoN! It shipped prime.Medium roast really brings out the total flavors. I still play with dark roast a little.
Great to see Gail back. We need more woodshop vids!
Have you and the staff nailed down an ideal bean portion size and grind setting for a standard cup of coffee and double espresso?
My favorite television reviewers post calibrations settings for the perfect viewing experience. It would be great to see this for your Super Autos
I own the Miele CM6350 and haven't found a favorite setting, because there are just too many options!
Love the machine!
I’m thinking of getting this one. Seems easy to operate and has useful automatic cleaning features. The hot coffee results are ideal as well. Had a few machines over the years which made lukewarm brews.
Gale back! Hooray...
I come to the site whenever I need to buy a new coffee machine. Good to see Gail is still here. Love you, Gail!
Gail, first and foremost, thank you for your amazing - agenda free, honest reviews. This is a must try for me and my husband thank you. Our Brevielle Pro of many many years is in hospice but think we may try this regardless of our love for Brevielle .... not their drip and grind however... we replaced that one e ery 2_3 months... the company handled the returns well however.
Thanks, Gail! You’re a great demo maker and teacher!
Gail, great to see you back. Great review.
Great review. Thanks for the advice - I think I'll buy one of these.
Welcome back Gale 🌹👏🏻
You go, Gail!
Great to see you again Gail! This looked really interesting. The brew head looked easy to remove. But I just saw the price...Wow. Not low enough for me darn it.
Gail's back!

Gail! We missed you!
Thank you. The manual is a bit overwhelming. I learned a lot from your video. Thank you.
Glad to be able to help you!
Hello after a long search because my Jura is a little old I change it, after viewing your review with Mile , I can't complain about the quality of coffee that he makes, or the cleaning process but I hate the fact that after 30 minutes continues to ask for cleaning again my last Jura only did this process when you power on the machine and after you close, this one after he goes in eco mode ask for clean... there's any how to stop this process cause it consume a lot of water from reservoir ? Thanks in advance
I love Gail!
Now you have the 5310 silence..is that gonna make less noise than this one ? Thanks
Is there any tricks to make the milk hotter? I find it lukewarm at best even with a hot brew temp and short prebrew.
I saw this on BF sale and am tempting to get one even though I have my mind made up on the Breville Express Impress. Have you tried that machine? How do you say the comparison of expresso quality comparing the CM5300 and Beville Express Impress. Thank you so much!
Gail is a real gem! 💎
Anybody. Which brand has typically the least noisiest grinder from superautomats?
What is the difference between the coffee and americano?
Hi Gail - I switched to this machine from my Jura that made the best espresso of all time! The Miele makes the WORST BITTER tasting coffee. - so I switched back to my Jura. I saw on another video of your saying that the grind is to blame. Can you tell me how to adjust the grind please???
I had a question on flavored espresso beans. Most beans will have notes of flavors, is that the same thing as a flavored bean which can ruin the grinder?
Hello, I just got my 5300, love it, but one thing I don’t know if it is normal or not: when I ran the ‘clean the milk pipe’ and flush it, there are still some residual water inside the pipe and seems take forever to dry. Can I remove the nozzle of the pipe? There are nothing mentioned in the Miele user guide about this water residual/condensation. Can you help provide some guidance? Thanks!
I have the 5500. After the ‘clean milk pipework’ process, I clean the outside of the ends well with soap/water since the one end was sitting in my cup of milk, then whirl / twirl it around (carefully of course) about 10-20 times and let centrifugal force push most excess water out. Then i let it sit out for awhile to dry further before putting it back in its little track inside. To be clear - i do not remove the nozzles from the ends.
For someone willing to spend roughly $1500, would you recommend this Miele, or a Gaggia Accademia, or a Saeco Pico Barista? Which of these machines makes the best espressos, and which is the most reliable and likely to last the longest without needing expensive repairs?
Ron, what machine did you go with?
@@jmarkh01 I got a Breville Barista Express, and I'm pleased with it, though I may at some point dish out a few grand and get a top-line grinder and espresso machine. I drink only espressos, so when I learned that the Barista Express (which I got for under $500) makes just as good espressos as the machines listed in my post, there was no reason for me to dish out $1500 for a superautomatic.
Go for Miele, without doubts
A sensible off timer, unlike the Breville Oracle. 20 minutes max, crazy.
My Breville Oracle has 8 hours auto off setting.
Cool
Looks very German - I like it. Do you guys have parts for this unlike Jura?
All stupid plastic . Anytime Appartamento for me !
jak p most parts are available on Miele website. Parts are pretty steep! I asked for water tank last week (w/o lid -$95) and brewing unit $335!!!
Hello, the manual mentions putting 12g max of ground coffee in the coffee chute. I have no idea what that is in terms of tablespoons. Can someone please help?
Hi there, a tablespoon is about 15 grams of coffee, but depending on the grind size this can differ a bit as finer grinds will be a bit more dense. At such small volumes it shouldn't make a significant difference!
Thank you so much! Also people love the coffee but a few times it is weaker even though none of the parameters have changed. Using beans to brew now. Any ideas?@@SeattleCoffeeGear
How do you use ground coffee with it?
There is a separate spout for ground coffee.
No Jim’s or bills in the profiles lol 😂 no but you get the bill 😂
I wish that there are superautomatic espresso machines that cost only $300.
Joe Magsajo Gaggia Brera
Aren’t all coffee beans pretty oily?
I’m sure they recorded those noises for Star Wars androids.!!
Latte Macchiato: 06:28 - 07:58
Takes 2 min 30 sec
Once you go Gail, everything else is stail.
Don't buy it before you read this!
The good: Very good coffee in all the presets, great milk frothing, lovely having a grinder in one unit and automated coffee brewing.
The bad: You will hate 2 things - refilling the water tank every day (even for one person 3 coffees a day). also you will not like to be ordered to empty and wash the tray every day.
I could live with the high price, but what will happen if I need some repairs?? The customer reviews are bad in this way...
Returned after 3 months of testing it...
Everyone is talking about Gail being back? What happened? The other ladies were good too. Give them a break!
Sorry Jay Gail is a living legend and one of a kind. Once you go Gail everything else is stail.
Ya know for 2019 that machine really is a disappointment for 1400 dollars.
Why?
Please, put some effort in your pronunciation of Miele, it is Miele, not Miela.
Listen at the guy from Seattle coffee gear.
Flavored coffee beans do not contain sugar. You're supposed to be an expert? Jeez - just google it. You may object to the extra oils contained in flavored beans or the cross contamination, but coffee already contains oils - degree depending on botanical and roast.
GOOD PRODUCT MRKT. PRESENTATIONM
You do a great job w/ these videos. Thank you!
