The combination of the view, menu choices and quality of foods make this a place I really want to visit when I am next in the area. Thank you for your video review. Excellent as always.
Many years since I used to visit Rest Bay when I was home in South Wales. I remember there being a cafe but it wasn't the one you were in. The one I remember also had big windows looking out to sea but had a cold stark interior straight out of the 1950's (in the 1980's) - all mid-century modern, with food to match...!
Hi Marcus good morning from Ontario Canada. Awesome live video I enjoyed it. How are you doing? I'm doing well and so is my cat Benjamin. Have a great day see you next video 😊
Hello from the States. Another enjoyable video. Sitting by the window and looking out at the bay gives it a bit of a cruise feel. Love to try a full British breakfast sometime. When I finally make it to Wales, I’ll have the full British breakfast every morning. But there needs to be at least two eggs, sunny-side up. I eat a lot of fresh tomatoes every day but not with breakfast. Enjoy your cruise to Ireland. Looking forward to that video. Stay safe and be well.
Thanks. It was a good breakfast, next time we have to try a "greasy spoon" this is cheap cafe that usually does big breakfasts for workers etc. Looking forward to the cruise - We're going to Ireland twice in June.
I love tinned or fresh tomatoes but if fresh, I like them well done. I was in Porthcawl last week and kept an eye out for you both but didn’t see you 😂😂😂
Tomatoes are a really good food. Even though you find it with vegetables, instead of fruits in the produce section in supermarkets, tomatoes are a fruit. Fruits are best eaten when fully ripe, as the human body digests and adsorbs tomato nutrients much easier and quicker. Like a fully ripe banana or plantain, raw tomatoes taste best when fully ripe. Restaurants often serve tomato slices when firm in texture, even though totally orange-red in color. That is not fully ripe! A fully ripe tomato is kind of soft to touch. Almost ripe, but not fully ripe tomatoes are better cooked, i.e. grilled, boiled, steamed, stewed, etc. Similarly, banana and plantains that are not fully ripe, are better cooked, i.e., fried or boiled.
I hope they have De-fibrilators on hand. for post reading of the menu prices.!!! LOL

Hi Mel x Marcus. I'm hoping to visit Rest Bay Cafe this week. Thanks for the vlog and previous vlogs, too. Brilliant x so funny.
Thanks, hope you have a sunny day for it.

Yes, that old building was a bit run down in the end. This one is much better.

Thanks for the info 👍
I'd rather tinned tomatoes as well. I would also rather the breakfast than Eggs Benedict.
Yes, a vote for tinned 👍
No tomatoes, don't like warm tomatoes.
No toms 👎 you two and food 😂👌
👍
Won’t eat there due to their “no dog policy” even if we leave the dog home we will not support a no dog outlet.
