sorry to be so off topic but does anybody know of a method to get back into an Instagram account?? I somehow forgot the password. I love any tips you can give me.
Actually, the hardest and most smoothest dacia engine is the 1.6 petrol. It won't break any land speed records but has a timing chain and is very reliable. Basic to maintain and cheap to run.
The Duster is mostly Nissan qashqi underneath. The electrics are Nissan too, which has to be good. Except the battery which is Magnetti Morelli from Italy for some rewson. Maybe owned now by the Renault/Nissan/Mitsubishi alliance? Not sure. I have to declare an interest. I bought a new Duster at the beginning of 2016, not expensive and I was prepared to 'forgive' it quite a lot. Well, no need I'm pleased - and surprised - to say as after 55, 000 miles the only fault has been one headlight bulb; I changed that for £6.00 and 3 minutes to fit myself. A long time since I've been able to do that! I've had new Volvo SUV's, new VW's, an Audi A4, Alfa 159, a small Mercedes, numerous FIAT's, Peugeot and Citroën....and, with exception of the Alfa strangely enough, they've all had issues. As of yet the Duster does not have a single squeak or rattle from the hard plastics trim and nothing's come loose or fallen off. The aircon, satnav, cruise control all work well and pop it into 6th gear and the thing cruises beautifully. Economical too - 1.5 diesel from Renault, as fitted in the Qashqi etc. The only annoyance is that the rear window switch is in a position on the armrest in the doors where an elbow can too easily press it. But that's it really. Comfy, roomier than the Qashqi....and incredibly kind to its tyres, still plenty of tread. It's a comfy old wagon, far better than it has any right to be, made up of tried and tested bits n pieces. I'm guessing they'll not always be cheap and will eventually become to Renault what the original 'joke car' - Skoda - has become to VW; quality cars, no longer a joke and no longer cheap, just clones. I might just run this one into the ground; I love it for it's honesty and comfortable dependability.
Good to hear as looking to buy one second hand. I was torn between the duster and the renegade but people have said too many electrical issues with the renegade so I will be looking at the dacia duster I'm sure it will fulfill all the tasks I will ask of it.
I just rented a duster 2017 and had to drive through offroad bumpy terrain and was more than amazed how well it handled and fun to drive through that terrain this duster is. I wish I could buy one in the USA .
Jeep produces a car with cheap interior British journal moan cause it looks cheap, Jeep produces a car with a luxury interior British journalists moan cause it's not Jeep enough. Go figure...
3 totally different cars for different purposes, for me based on looks an going away on camping trips an doing mountain biking the jeep renegade would be my pick straight away, stunning looking car i love it 😍🏴👌👍
Strange, Mat Watson at Carwow rates the Suzuki infotainment system as one of the best out there, practical, easy to use and responsive. Who are we to believe?
Use a Suzuki infotainment system, and I can say that it's good. It's not great but it's good. It can be a bit laggy and the graphics looks a bit primitive (not pretty). But it's really easy to use and actually quite reliable, everything is big and easy to find. They can make it better looking and make it a bit more responsive but it's a good system to use everyday.
Three different cars for different purposes. The best to drive in town is probably the Vitara, the best looking and with character is the Jeep but if you need the extra space and a proper off roader cheap to run that is the Duster. Unfortunately Dacia is the victim of an unexpected success since Renault Nissan Groupe wants to keep it as Cinderella to protect the sales of other models from the group. Particularly in the UK where competition is strong they decided not to offer automatics on any Dacia models.
Filippo Rindone yea i was wondering the sane thing the 2018 one looks much better outside and interiror is a lot more upmarket... Not really fair comparison
Hi CJ! You are completely right... we're really sorry about that. Slipped through the net. Thanks for letting us know. And we're really glad you enjoyed the video!!
I know it's region dependent, but when you compare the spec etc, Vitara is the cheapest option. Jeep is the most refined, but it's not saying much, since all these cars are quite crude.
I have a renegade and it’s a really nice, comfortable car. Despite what Vicki says, there is acres of space in the front of the cabin. Beats audio is a plus and I have around 50.2 MPG average over the past 2 years of owning it. I would much rather it or the Suzuki over the unsafe Dacia.
I've got the Trailhawk version and it's a special car - really gets under your skin. Tried the Duster and it was downmarket ... sorry but you just can't spec one to match the Renegade's capabilities and quality levels although the 2018 looks to be an improvement.
I’ve got a Renegade and although it is a small car there is so much space and the way the interior is designed it feels like your driving something much bigger. They’ve just brought out a new Renegade and it looks so nice!
The Duster its not unsafe. And if you call the Duster unsafe, how would you call the Ford Mustang? Stop being salty just cause the Duster is better than your Renegade.
The 3star NCAP rating for Dacia is the result of the current rating procedures wich favour active electronic safety devices. Dacia lacks the electronic gizmos (lane departure alarm, brake assist radar etc.), so despite good crash protection it cannot get more than 3 stars.
I am on my second 1.5dci 4x4 Duster which tows my caravan, great car I cannot fault it. I also had a Vitara, that was also a good car but a lot more expensive for the same spec.
Win in this contest it may have but a 4x4 duster will give an much more expensive suv a run for its money, especially in bad/muddy conditions. Source: greenlaning and snow driving one for the past year
Played around with all 3 and here are my 2 cents: suzuki has the most kit for under 21k euro but the inside is ... bad, shift feels off a tractor and feels small. Looks good, does the job but not that much car. The duster is the best for what it is but it is a cheap car, not fun, and the pedals, steering etc just feels disconected from action. The jeep is the one you pay more for the brand but it had a way better feel and a lot better matterials. Its better offroad even in the 4x2 1l turbo petrol version and it feels a lot more special. You turn back to look at it and it gives an adventure feel to it even if its just a fiat 500x with america on it. So ... if you are older and or really dont have the money ... The duster is the king at -20 k euro. If you are younger and want a interesting car that turns heads for under 20k euro ... jeep! Suzuki doesnt do anything at the level of the 2 and just feels like a girls car ( no offence... just feels like a cute toy). I have the jeep and even with all the bad bits on it ... would buy it again.
This has got to be the most shamelessly biased review ever... If any one sees these three cars side by side and drives anyone, the jeep is the best... Its no comparison at all...
In India Dacia duster is Renault duster I owned 110 bhp 6gear diesal since 2016 no issues till now periodic brake pads change at 30 thousand km ride is equelent to German beemers engine is superb economy and effeciancy best in class only issue is use of very soft steel in body and only 3 star in euro ncp
But its new. How often do you see 10+ years old Renault cars on streets? I don't remember last time I saw one. Even in France they are rare compared to old Peugeot/Citroen cars. Yet they used to be popular decade ago as well. Swap it for much more reliable Suzuki while you can. All cars work well for first few years (unless you get really unlucky), what happens after that is what matters.
Apart from the Dacia’s cheap price the Jeep is the best especially the new facelifted model they are bringing out which I will be swapping mine for. The Jeep Compass is also very good my dad just swapped his Suzuki Vitara S for one and it’s so much better, the build quality, infotainment system and everything else is better on the Jeep.
Dominic Cristi why does it matter what it is based on? Just because it shares the same platform as the 500x doesn’t mean it is one. And it shares all of Jeeps equipment including their 4 wheel drive systems. So I’m not really sure what your point is. It’s like saying that a swan is the same as a pigeon because they both have the same looking feet. It just doesn’t make sense.
@@cainelup5970 The Jeep shares a platform with the Fiat 500L/X ... nothing like the standard smaller 500. But you show me where they are similar side by side.
Feel free to ignore. Just a thought as you did it a little bit in this video. I appreciate you need structure to a short video to be able to get the information across in a clear and timely manner. Great concise and apposite comments, but no mention of the prices !? (except as a /mth payment, which mean little to me). Oh, those passing end comments, (repeated as well !!). Perhaps enuf said, huh !?
My dad got one of these cars about several months now. I quite like it as the 1.5 dci felt quite punchy although when we was coming back from blackpool in our own cars he couldnt keep up with me on the motorway and i only got a 2004 suzuki liana 1.6 petrol with 167.000 miles so not exactly a new car either. The only problems my dad had with dacia was turbo failed. Had that repaired now warning comes on with no code ?? And wont delete even dacia said they cant shift it?? Which as upset him because car on has 45.000 miles on it. But car still drives good. Im thinking of the dacia sandero stepway
@@OggyGTA the dacia failed. Huge electrical fault we think was the ecu, bought a juke 1.5 and that didnt last long either another major electrical fault after about a year. I still have suzuki not 184k miles and no issues. My dad now has nissan 1.4 petrol reliable engine but goes through more driveshafts than services.
I really wouldn't call any of these cars "SUV" - they are more likely to be called "Crossovers". Furthermore, the Suzuki is the only one of these cars with four wheel drive, whch puts it in a different league compared to the other two models.
Bumpiness of ride for your poor passenger. There used to be a commercial with a glass of some liquid, maybe champagne, surviving a ride down a rough city street. I don't remember the details.
The touch screen in the Vitara can feel odd to use at first because it isnt like a normal touch screen. It is designed to work even when you are wearing gloves so you have to press the screen more than you would normally expect.
I've not seen it anywhere but I checked their UK website and I see what you mean. Could it be possible to spec and order a car before it's announced? I read a couple of other comments saying it wasn't in the UK yet because they hadn't produced a RHD version yet. I hadn't seen it anywhere so I spread the info. Seems like I might be wrong, though it could be that it wasn't used in the video as it wasn't available at the time of filming but is now.
The interiors of the Suzuki and the Jeep are great and these women are complaining??? What? Don't get women to do a man's job...okay the Duster sucks, inside and out but the other two are great.
Love these kind of reviews where the people interact with each other Jokes and having fun Though would be more fun where they all "brought the car to the test" and they defend their cars while finding flaws on the other cars
@@OggyGTA The Duster never achieved a 5 star under any rating regime. It is a three star (old NCAP) rating vehicle that has been cosmetically updated. I've spoken to a Renault/Dacia sales person and they concede the fact. Capable, sure. But safe? Well I guess safer than a first generation Cherry. Car Buyer says the following too, which confirms the information I have: " Safety: The Duster only received three stars in Euro NCAP crash tests when it was originally tested - a disappointing result for an SUV, as most cars in this class get the maximum five stars. It has since been re-tested and while it retained its three-star rating, the scores it received in specific areas were a little lower. In 2017's retest, the Duster was rated at 71% for adult occupancy protection and 66% for how it looked after children in a crash. These lower scores haven't been assigned because the Dacia isn't as safe as it once was - it's because standards have become more stringent since it first went on sale."
The Renegade is an SUV. The Duster specs also label it as a petrol instead of a diesel. She's been a motoring journalist for 15 years and doesn't know what the belt holder is for? She's in the wrong profession. Vicki Butler-Henderson is the only one who sounds like an actual motoring journalist. The lady in the back seat says shes never seen the belt-hook before yet shes a car jounalist? What shit did I just watch.. Please just give Vicky a ferrari and a track!
I'd take the Suzuki. French electrics after 3 years (from experience) are problematic and the Jeeps made at the Fiat 500 factory so there is no way I'm touching that with a bargepole even though it's the one I like the most.
" Renegade is not a SUV because it's a Jeep " ha ha ..clueless woman. Renegade is the only vehicle it's class that has a locking low range gearbox in the 4x4 version and the ONLY SUV. all the others are crossovers -- a cross between a hatchback and a proper SUV -- all wheel drive and high ground clearance. But no low range locking GEARBOX..

Just to point out that paticular jeep they were using wasn't even 4x4. The 2.0 is wayyy better
"Stylish and high quality" -Dacia Duster. OMG XD FRIKIN ROMANIAN BUDGET NON-CAR GUY CAR
You gotta feel for Rachel’s boyfriend !!!
I really wouldn't call any of these cars "SUV" - they are more likely to be called "Crossovers". Furthermore, the Suzuki is the only one of these cars with four wheel drive, whch puts it in a different league compared to the other two models.
They all were too different for a close comparison but you can get the idea what you want to explore further.
I'm really not sure what the tea tray test is supposed to prove.
Bumpiness of ride for your poor passenger. There used to be a commercial with a glass of some liquid, maybe champagne, surviving a ride down a rough city street. I don't remember the details.
DUSTER !!!
I'd rather walk than drive on such shit as Dacia
The touch screen in the Vitara can feel odd to use at first because it isnt like a normal touch screen. It is designed to work even when you are wearing gloves so you have to press the screen more than you would normally expect.
I love the Duster 😁
The Jeep looks badass!
Power of the duster
3 cups of tea for every test ..yap they're British alright. :D
I almost get the inpression from the comments that there is a new Duster, non?
Laurens O there is ,its already available in Romania , should be on uk too , and will receive a new 1.3 T engine with 130 hp
Good job, Dacia Duster! So proud of you! (Yes, I'm Romanian) :D
The steering wheels on the wrong side😵😜! Why you not testing the Duster, renegade und vitara 4x4??😕
Why not compare the latest duster ?
It's not been released here yet.
Mark Wright ; I saw the car on Dacia website, so I assumed it’s been released. My bad, sorry
I've just found a video on RUclips from yesterday mentioning the UK spec being released. Apologies.
Ther is a 2018 dacia duster
Yes - a way better than old one :) and still CHEAP!
yzzoarts The most powerful engine on the new one is a 1.2 TCE petrol with 125hp.
Tudor Voicu in my country there is a 1.6 liter dacia duster
hyökkäyshulilupteri maybe but is not turbo I guess. Which country?

If you want a more Jeep, Jeep, should have gone for an off-road model. A Tough Mudder or Trailhawk would be much better.
Duster
The interiors of the Suzuki and the Jeep are great and these women are complaining??? What? Don't get women to do a man's job...okay the Duster sucks, inside and out but the other two are great.
Love these kind of reviews where the people interact with each other
Jokes and having fun
Though would be more fun where they all "brought the car to the test" and they defend their cars while finding flaws on the other cars
She had her two fingers close together when she said 6.5 inches, she is not easily pleased!
Dacia Duster stilish? Well the problem of this test is the incompetence of the tester.
Which is best off-road?
Subaru
Checking the utility factor by taking cups of tea. lol.
THREE star EuroNCAP rating... let that sink in for a moment.
5 star under the old rating, so let that sink in.
Car Buyer says the following too, which confirms the information I have:
" Safety:
The Duster only received three stars in Euro NCAP crash tests when it was originally tested - a disappointing result for an SUV, as most cars in this class get the maximum five stars.
Squealing women on the "tea test", not pleasant
The way she talks about the touch screen of the Renegade will make women have a field day.
Every episode has one or two "Below the belt" jokes. 😆😆
The other two look and sound like some of Vicki's random friends dropped by unexpectedly and got an invitation to come along. The short haired woman has a 'trying too hard to be funny/different lispy voice and Rachel is just monotonous and boring.
Um, there is a brand new infotainment in all FCA cars, so that 6.5" screen is NOT the best Jeep offers.
It was the 5" in the video.
Great comparison thanks girls
Robert Lloyd I made a comparison video about cars:
Formula 1 vs Formula E: How do they compare?

Do you like it?
Women ruining cars one CUV at a time. Thanks ladies
Who would have three cups of tea in car on rough roads , you leave that for the motorway !
So basically anyone buys a suv with capable of not flowing the tea out of cup
What kind of review is this??? You get three neurotic women to play tea party inside SUV's????
they should put the tea cups into the car's cup holders
New Duster out.Better than the Suzuki and Jeep.
I'd rather walk than drive on such shit as Dacia
Юрий Сычев Dude, go and get a social life. Are you really going to spam that comment on every video about Dacia? Jezz...
i love duster4wd
I feel sorry for the person who has to clean the seats after the tea spills.
Duster doesn't have galvanized body! Only 6 years anticorossion warranty!
Never believed women can do car reviews but i liked your's
Thats the old Duster from 2017
Dacia Duster best off road
Off and stopped.
O no Dacia VS jeep
at 7:40 the charts show what really matters...chart says jeep is the only one with "proper off road ability"
15 years with the French car, never any problems but I would choose Suzuki
" Renegade is not a SUV because it's a Jeep " ha ha ..clueless woman. Renegade is the only vehicle it's class that has a locking low range gearbox in the 4x4 version and the ONLY SUV. all the others are crossovers -- a cross between a hatchback and a proper SUV -- all wheel drive and high ground clearance. But no low range locking GEARBOX..
