스피카는 미국 5인조 걸그룹 피프스 하모니(Fifth Harmony)의 '아임 인 러브 위드 어 몬스터(I'm in love with a monster)' 커버 영상을 공개했다.
공개된 영상에는 스피카의 리더 김보아와 막내 김보형이 녹음실 부스에서 '아임 인 러브 위드 어 몬스터(I'm in love with a monster)'를 각자의 색깔로 재해석, 폭발적인 가창력을 뽐냈다.
매력적인 중저음의 김보아와 사이다 같은 속이 뻥 뚫리는 듯한 김보형의 음색이 환상의 하모니를 이루며 네티즌들의 이목을 단번에 집중시켰다.
특히, 실력파 걸그룹 스피카의 보컬 자존심 김보아와 김보형의 노래 대결로 또 다른 재미요소로 눈길을 끈다.
실제 스피카의 김보아와 김보형은 MBC '복면가왕'에 출연해 모두 가왕 결정전에 오른 보컬 실력자이다.
특히 김보아와 김보형은 각각 김연우, 국카스텐 하현우에게 아깝게 패해 가왕에 오르지는 못했지만 그 누구도 인정할 수밖에 없는 실력으로 호평을 받았다.
최근에는 김보형이 JTBC ‘걸스피릿’에 출연해 폭발적인 가창력을 앞세워 존재감을 발휘하고 있다.
한편, 김보아와 김보형이 속한 스피카는 오는 25일 정오, 디지털싱글 '시크릿 타임(Secert Time)'을 발표하고 본격적으로 컴백한다.
한층 물오른 비주얼과 독보적인 콘셉트로 돌아온 스피카는 올 여름 걸그룹 대전의 정점을 찍으며 대미를 장식할 예정이다.

I agree. There are a few groups that have extremely talented singers (for instance Apink's Eunji comes to mind) but so few groups have a full line up of talented singers.
Eric Exid is also one of them especially Solji.

WellHOTDAMN!!! They nailed it! SPICA is one of the most vocally sound groups in the Korean market.... no offense to the popular groups but they don't sound like a manufactured group

SPICA definitely needs more recognition. Their vocals are way better than most of the other girl groups who are popular just because of their visuals. Its not fair that people hadn't given them any attention when clearly they're so damn talented. I'm definitely rooting for SPICA, fighting!!

I was so excited when I saw the title to this video. Before I clicked on it I knew this was gonna be lit!! I'm a Harmonizer and I love Spica because they have one of the best voices in KPop and it sucks that not a lot people realize that. Stan Spica!! 👍👍👍❤❤❤

BoA is just amazing. For a girl that had to put her formal education on hold. She can sing in four languages. Spica was so lucky to have five of the most beautiful and talented girls I've ever seen. I just wonder what they are each doing now. Lost track of them.

와 진짜 오랜만이다.... 갑자기 스피카 옛날 노래 듣다가 요즘 머하시나 궁금해지네요 ㅜㅜ 처음에 스피카 데뷔한 날, 에일리가 같이 데뷔해서 스피카랑 에일리가 같은 자리에서 엠씨들이랑 인터뷰하면서 노래 한 소절씩 부르는데 너무 잘 불러서 후덜덜했던 기억이 아직도 나요.. 어디선가 행복하게 노래하고 계시길!!

Mmm no fifth harmony fits better with this song I mean it is theirs, but let me tell you something spica tried to fit their voices with the type of song and they totally nailed it, this is the best cover I have ever seen, it is just incredible
