Madox said in his reaction to this video that two h showed the polyphonic technic just to madox in the room he was staying in days prior to the event, and unfortunately for him alexinho also was in the same room, he didn't even get to explain the basics of the sound, man just heard it and was like "Oh oui"
15:33 just to corroborate/confirm your info, Madox had said around 24mins into his 'Analysis: ALEXINHO vs TWO.H' GBB17 vid that he and Pepouni were begging Two H to showcase his sound, so he eventually did so - unfortunately, with Alexinho in the room, it seemed like Alexinho learned it eventually upon realising he might end up battling Two H at some point. side note, Two H was not new to the international scene - in fact, he was considered a legend already due to his performances in GBB13 (3rd place) and GBB14 (2nd place to Dharni), as well as for some beats like 'break it down like this' and 'like a snake', which helped make clickroll spamming meta for a while (alongside other beatboxers like K.I.M and Big Ben).
the polyphonic technic use by Two H was totally new at this moment, and Alexhinho did it easy, that's why it's a classic battle (sorry if i make mistake in english guys) edit: thanks guys, you are right
Before two.h big drop he says “let’s inspire other people” because he’s using a simple kick/snare combo that’s crazy basey and in time. “Which is easy for the basic person to understand”
Alexinho’s first round was brilliant intellectually, but really rough for other people to latch onto. For instance, he started with a four count beat, went to a five count beat, went to a six count beat, then went to the tennis ball and polyrhythms which work but are so hard to hear. They’re just not accessible.
Two H actually didn’t teach Alexinho specifically, Alexinho was just in the same room and picked it up himself, which is what makes it insane. Alexinho is a beastly adaptive beatboxer and is really good at sound replicating.
7:06 i don't think he's off , it's just his style it's called "detroit" (the snares are on beat but everything else is off beat on purpose) Him and beasty (from berywam) used to do that back in the days and he even did this in his 2021 gbb wildcard And the subtitles for this battle are jokes 😂 check them out
i actually love you guys i found anthony ray from black pegusus and now there is collabs on his channel i love that anthony has enough beatbox knowledge to help bp to know whats going on keep it up you 2 ❤
the whole back and forth both rounds were fire with these two goofballs alex is a legend for being goofy and twoh wouldve been if alex didnt do it first xD
The funny thing is Alexhino figured out FootBoxG’s special sound and tried to counter him with it in the 2022 GBB but Footbox was too good and took the battle. Also Dharni is the only 2 time GBB champ
I was going to comment this if I didn't see it in the comments xD One of the best Echos ever and is one of the beatboxers that has a huge following on social. With time the past champions are always forgotten which is a bit sad for me even though we all know beatboxing/loopstation have evolved so damn much since 2013 and before that. There are still many routines from Skiller, Reeps One, Alem, BallZee that still hold up that reactors just don't watch because it's so old no one recommends them :( .. Almost no one remembers the first GBB loopstation champion GRISON, who is the literal reason I fell in love with loopstation.
I def agree with BP's thoughts on complex BBXing for competitions. That type of BBXing that only appeals to people who know how hard of a rhythm/technique it is to do. I feel like successful BBXers find a balance, like DLOW. Being complex, but not losing the majority of the flow to technical skills that people don't understand- that is what makes you stand out as a performer.
the legendary two.h second round, commonly known as the most perfect round in any live beatbox event
It’s amazing how it’s still just as clean and timeless
To this day I still think Two H should have won this battle

edit: thanks guys, you are right
only able to do it easy cos he got info before so he had time to practice it
its polyphonic!!
Seeing Two-H being robbed again and again
13 and 14 was Two.H's prime... or so they say... Big ups to y'all for the reaction.
Before two.h big drop he says “let’s inspire other people” because he’s using a simple kick/snare combo that’s crazy basey and in time. “Which is easy for the basic person to understand”
Two H revolutionizing the game with that snare bro. That 2nd round hit so hard, people were not ready lmao.
Dharni won twice (in a row 2013-2014) back then, but at the current beatboxing generation it's near impossible to win two times.
Speed up to now from when this was recorded, and anthony ray already has a cleaan ass polyphonic voice

You have to watch this battle with subtitles they are so hilarious
It’s crazy when old rounds like two h’s can still hold up today
i recommend to turn on the subtitles so funny.
*noises being made 😂

7 years later and i still havent recovered from TwoH's second round!
Two H showed pepouni and alexinho heard it through the wall and learned the counter
i actually love you guys i found anthony ray from black pegusus and now there is collabs on his channel i love that anthony has enough beatbox knowledge to help bp to know whats going on keep it up you 2 ❤
Two h have the best pft snare in the world , that was clean as fuck
napom, codfish, and d-low are my favorites also so happen to be some of the only ones that came close to being a twotime champ
Two.h legendary toilet skills. Look it up. Two.h was soo far ahead of all others
The second round by two.h is crazy 🥴
I'll suggest you guys to also watch
Pacmax vs alexinho which is also a banger 🔥
the whole back and forth both rounds were fire with these two goofballs alex is a legend for being goofy and twoh wouldve been if alex didnt do it first xD
two-h was already 2nd place in GBB 2014, he battled Dharni
The funny thing is Alexhino figured out FootBoxG’s special sound and tried to counter him with it in the 2022 GBB but Footbox was too good and took the battle. Also Dharni is the only 2 time GBB champ

You should turn on CC bruh😂
Btw Dharni was the only one that one back to back gbb
Tbf the judges were also drinking so that’s probs y they chose Alexinho. I like Two.H much more in this battle, he should’ve won
Chezame or Madox talked about Alexihno seeing this techinique before the battle in one of his reactions. PS: Dharni won GBB twice
u should watch this video with the subtitle on.. itss soo funny
alexinho vs hiss from that gbb is much better for me
Dharni is a double champ of GBB i think (2013 and 2014)
