This guy is so great. I'd go so far to say one of the greatest ever. How the heck did he not become one of the biggest ever? so many of the top comedians of recent years could only hope to be as creative, talented and funny.
@@jimreeves1954 Do you have the name of the club? I can't seem to find it using Google. I've been a fan of his since the 80s - one of my first dates with my wife (32 years in 2019) was to see him in a club in West Orange NJ. I would love to go see him again, now that we're empty nesters.
You don't see this as being insulting to people that might be mentally challenged? I don't, but that's the landscape now, THIS would somehow still manage to upset someone nowadays. Stand up comedians careers are in jeopardy with every bit they tell now. It's a shame because other than music, this is my favorite art form for entrainment and it's in danger.
Saw him in Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach a couple of times !!! Always hilarious !!! Got the chance to talk to him after a show once !!! Nice guy !!! And just a natural clown !!!
was a student at Purdue and not doing very well...quit going to classes and started watching stand-up comedians. this is one of the first shows I saw...blew me away. still funny. I failed out and went back after four years in the Army. Comedians at that time helped me understand it was going to be OK.
Mark Blair Is he still alive and doing stuff? I could check google but I wanted to thank you. He was one of the first comedians I pissed myself to. Sophomore year
@@MarkBlairs-Stooge-Channel lol...I'm sure! I've only seen parts of his routine on RUclips. This was the first time I saw the juggling routine and couldn't stop laughing. Lol
What a talent - creative and funny; and I can't believe that juggling routine is any easier because he uses babushkas. In fact, synchronized with the music, I'd guess it was at least 2 dimensions more difficult.
Awesome stuff! When people had a sense of humor. This would offend this era of PC. Why wasn't he bigger, idk. Didn't miss a beat with the rouge bubble! Thanks for posting 👍👍
The rogue bubble!! ☺️🤣 That's the fun of Live comedy, and he took full advantage of it. He has been one of my favorite comedians for a very long time and I wish he had become more mainstream so more people could have enjoyed his comedy. I love the, "you can grab one off any old lady in the street" line in the babushka bit!! ☺️
I have his entire skit in the house on dvd. The chinese guy, welcome to Jamaica, mom i need the toilet paper. They dont have any.ofnthe good ones on You Tube.
When I was a kid I had a VHS tape with this show, but just this part, and also Mother Goose Rock and Rhyme, Terminator 2, part of an episode of SNL hosted by Andrew Dice Clay, and an episode of Freddy's Nightmares. I wonder what happened to that tape. Anyway I really want that juggling babooshka song.
Honestly don't know. She was hosting a late night comedy television show "Stand up spotlight" in the same time frame as this orginally aired so .. could be.
@@MarkBlairs-Stooge-Channel I have no idea how she got to be a big name. I remember her doing bits in between shows or videos on VH-1 and she was NOT funny at all. Not once.
I had the hilarious pleasure of seeing him live in the mid 80's a couple times. Just a fantastic comic.
I love this guy and miss him. We need him now more than ever! I remember as a little kid his HBO comedy specials.
Wow, Bob Nelson just rocks it every time. This skit was sooo great!!! Loved it!

Couldn't agree more. He made a few movie appearances. Look for him in "Kindergarten Cop"
has his own club in new York, he is big

Revolution On A Recliner
He became "born again Christian" and completely dumped his act style. Rogan and Diaz discussed it.
Wow! Amazing! A man can be funny without being raunchy, insulting anyone, or getting political! Incredible! A breath of fresh air!

😔 So sad.

I remember him on Johnny Carson once, (obviously years ago) He did jiffy Jeff and a football routine that were hillarious !
Here's his football routine. ruclips.net/video/I_7tIBk_DfQ/видео.html

Newfmomx2 I just came from there.
My Helmet and shouldermapads.
Talk about a performer who never got his due.
Lot's of folks here agree
He had his own HBO special.
All I have to say is "Juggling Babushkas."
the best part "... I guess that's pretty weird. That's my material though. One more thing, and then you can go home..." lolololol
If you're mid 40's now and had HBO.. then you love this guy :P
HYSTERICAL. ONE OF MY FAVORITES!
This is the guy who talked about how you always meet chicks on air planes... Haglita and Skagnita. Loved that bit.
i couldn't stop laughing. i can't believe i never heard of this guy before.
Yeah, I ran across him in the '80s and was so happy to find his stuff here on youtube. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Yes, you can still find his stuff as he is active today. I've always enjoyed him.
You never heard of him because he is a conservative, and he was blackballed by the TV and film industry.
When did you construct your bullshit factory?
This guy is great!
Zomg thanks so much for posting, I am flashbacking to being 10 and addicted to '80s cable!!!1111 xD
My FAVORITE Comedian !!!
This guy is so talented and funny! He is original.

My Gramma got PISSED when I did this bit with her babushkas way back when! Good times!
You can get them off any old ladies head...

Ditto - EXCELLENT!
Juggling Babushkas is my favorite
Excellent.
I once was at a gun range in the SFV, and one of the employees was named, "Eppy"...I wonder...🤔
Good clean comedy
"This is pretty excellent".
"You can get one of these off of any old lady's head."
Next to Carlin, my favorite.
i saw this on HBO when i was a kid. still funny to this day.

Kate bush babooshka I just know something good is coming,""
Love this guy to funny
Wasn't he in the movie "brain donors"? A great funny movie
Yes! Also, I remember yelling out his name - I said "Eppy!" instead of "Bob!" - when I saw him in "Kindergarten Cop". I was escorted out.
🤣
Nowadays Eppie Epperman would be a hipster and CEO of a billion-dollar Artisan Shampoo company in Brooklyn.
Funny.
"One more ting"
Classic
I know eppy ✌
There were many wet seats after that show.
I hope you like this. I do.
he reminds me of Bo Burnham
what is that music and how can i get it
anyone know whats the music name?
Bob Nelson was SO GOOD!!!!! When comedy was pure-
Did Rosie O'Donnell rip off this impression for her character on "Riding The Bus With My Sister"?
