I honest to God thought this was an official track until I read the comments and found out it was a cover.
The great thing about these tracks is that they retain the authenticity of the originals,
If someone told you that this was on the soundtrack to the digital release of Afterburner Climax then you’d probably nod and say that Sega has done a really good job remixing the music?!
This arrangement sounds like 100% pure, concentrated, star-spangled air superiority!!! They should blast this at high volume at air shows.
I tell you man, this era of gaming has an its own kind of music that you can't find anywhere else, retro at it's best
Check out Casiopea who inspired most of the Japanese VGM composers. They're still going today.
Brings me back to playing After Burner 2 on the Genesis as a kid.

Even people who don't necessarily know or listen to these tunes and hopefully still appreciete them when they hear my remixes (Y) AWESOME!
Everytime I see 80's fighter jets, I'm just waiting for them to transform in to giant robots like in my love for Macross!! You did a good job blending in Top gun with the game.

@@ArcadeMusicTribute Doesn't really need to be After Burner footage imo, I think any F14 and even F18 footage would work just as well (see F18 in AB Climax and Top Gun: Maverick). Hope quality is good enough to work with. Cheers :)

This is the one. Game has alot of really good tracks, but they’re all mostly synths or not in much good quality lol, check it out if you wanna. Any track from the game would be welcome, or maybe even from the older entries which were arcade machines!
