I had an awesome ride over Dartmoor this week. I would love to hear about some of the great routes that you have done in the hills and mountains, so please leave any in the comments below. I am going to build up a 'Bike Challenge' playlist as time goes on. Check that out here: ruclips.net/p/PLSOiW6uerMsRHhnmCS8uU1Ivwf8iSavqY
@@bikeandbeyond I already love it. Thanks :) I cut my thumb tendon. Not very nice. I got a shouted at off my auntie for going out on it 😂 but needed a taste
Looks a great day out, High Willhay is definitely going on my “to do” list. I didn’t know that you could cycle a mountain bike up these mini-mountains. Obviously after lock-down is lifted, as it is long way to come from Hampshire 😊
Look forward to your review. This is one of the three bikes I have narrowed down my choice to. It's a choice betwixt this VooDoo Bizango, the GT Avalanche Elite (2020) or the Vitus Nucleus 29 VRS (2020). Although given the current situation with the Wuhanic Plague everywhere is out of stock.
Good question. I am 5'10 and I have the 20 inch frame. The best thing to do is go and have a sit on both. The good news is that you can get these in Halfords (which are everywhere). Go and have a sit on both and see which you prefer. I had a go on the 18 and 20 inch and found the 20 more comfortable for me.
I'm about 5'8/9 and went for the 18. I've had to cut about 6 inch off the seat though I got some short ass legs 😂 but would say frame size is good for me.
Got me thinking that maybe I bought the wrong size. I am 5” 7 and a half and got the 16”. I vowed never to get a biggish frame again as in the past haven’t had enough room to attach a saddle bag, lights ecetera. And they design womens bikes with a step-over frame. And I would have thought it is men who need the lower top frame tube 🤣 I have ridden 333 miles in ten months on it so it can’t be that bad. Maybe time enough getting another Bizango when a new colour comes out 😀
@@kevinshort3943 I had a bantu, got nicked after 3 months. I ride a combination of road and dirt tracks and trails when I can be bothered. The bantu was 18 speed, say your on a steep hill, would the granny gear on the bantu give an easier accent compared to the bizango? I got the money back for the bantu and the gears are the only thing stopping me upgrading to the bizango, I'm 16 stone if that makes a difference.
@@goldenwombat2159 The Bantu has a slightly easier lowest gear, but the Bazingo has superior gears/derailleur, bottom bracket, breaks, forks, and a clutch. It's also a 29r.
@@riderrunco I don't have the Strava route unfortunately, but you can definitely go from the reservoir. I used a combination of google maps and an OS map that I had.
Love the voice overs buddy , I've tried it but sound like a complete div.. if you ever get to the midlands I'd be glad to show you the trails. Check my channel out and see if you fancy anything 👍🤘
Thanks mate. Yeah I am still getting the hang of the voice over thing. I am trying a few different mic's etc at the moment. I would love a guided tour to some trails in the midlands! I have ridden Cannock Chase in the past and it was great. I will definitely give you a shout when I am heading up your way
Why are you riding over the moor and not always sticking to the bridleway. This sets a really bad example to other users and is against the countryside code!!! Stop ruining the beautiful moor!!

I live there, nice woods to ride to as well
Just bought this bike today. Recoving from hand surgery though, so only had 10 minutes on the road. But can't wait to get out on it properly
Good work, I hope it treats you well. Take it easy on the hand.

Please can you let me know where you found it in stock? Thanks
Did this one back in October - Great fun

Yeah it was good apart from the rain :D
Not all the paths are cycle friendly so I had to do a bit of route finding first. A good day out!
I've just purchased a Voodoo Bizango, it looks like a capable bike. Can't wait to take it to Llandegla... Good Video 👍
Good choice!

I have literally narrowed my search down to these too!, gutted that there is no stock
Which one were you guys leaning towards? The VRS looks cool.
I literally bought this bike today, great ride, quick on trails. It eats bumps like they are nothing.
My tyre size looks thicker than yours though :-/
Yeah it is quick over the bumps! I think my tyres are the standard Maxxis Ardent, although they are rather old now.
How do these size up? 5’11 32 inside leg.. 18 inch frame? They look a great do it all bike for sure!

top pumping. real mountain biking better than any trail centre 👍
I was thinking of upgrading from the bantu but doesn't the 1x10 gears make Hill climbs harder?
1x11, that's 11-48 I believe.
Climbing is easy with the "granny" gear, and it's easier to use with less bits to go wrong.

Where did you start from and where did you go up..
I started from a cafe in Oakhampton. I needed a coffee before the climb.
@@bikeandbeyond have you got the strava route. I was thinking of starting from the reservoir..

Can you do narration thru both speakers pls
Hi, Yes this was made using old (and rather bad) editing software. All the newer videos use both speakers.
Brill inspiring
