If I was this kid’s dad, I’d stand up and applaud him for doing a great job under the circumstances. I’d take him out for ice cream afterwards and tell him how proud I am of him! I would tell him I couldn’t be happier than to be his dad! He’s a growing boy who goes through what all growing boys go through during puberty!
i have 2 give this guy credit he took it like a man and kept singing.....That was a true display of MANILINESS AND BRAVERY despite an incredibly UNMANLY VOICE CRACK
This boy had balls of steel! His music director should have been dragged from the stage and horsewhipped for not putting a stop to this. He should have quickly intervened, and improvised something, like urging the audience into an impromptu sing-along to finish out the song.
I feel obligated to let you know that my Adolescent Development professor just showed us this in class to remind us of changes that happen in puberty and why they suck. 😭❤️
No doubt, he's a hero, but it's so wrong that he was left standing there going through that. Quite ridiculous. Full credit to him, but the adults should have stepped in, got him a huge round of applause and brought his nightmare to an end.
well, ur point is truly valid, but id say, as a musician theres only one valid person to end ur performance, and this is (despite anyone in the audience) the musician himself - this boy here did a masterful job on working with his mutation; ending his performance wouldnt honour the parts, where he didnt crack, so its rather complicated. I think, it truly is a somewhat good idea to let him perform as long as he wishes to give him the opportunity to do well :) (as hard as it sounds, but it also is a good opportunity to show him, that he is the responsible one for performing his piece, so under any circumstances ur forced to do ur job with anything u got - there's always the option to cancel ;) another point comes to my mind here: the audience sure was professional enough to work with his conditions, and as a young boy singer u and everyone araound u would know about ur voice changes. sure, ull get mocked for ur mistakes like any other musician would, but it would be on a kinda respectful level, since it might happen to oneself aswell ^^ regards, hf :)
Why was this allowed to continue? It should have been a simple matter for the organiser to pull the plug, sparing the young voice unnecessary strain - and indeed embarrassment to the boy. Adults have to be adults here, surely? I don't like this.
@@lorenzomendoza1559 Then don't listen to his singing anymore and look onto funny vids because we didn't mean to give you a credit as well but a peepee as your gift
That happened to another singer I knew his voice did the same thing right in the middle of a song but he kept going somewhat so I'll give him credit for staying up there & getting through that.
happened to me today during a play im 12 and nearly 13 and i was praying it wasent going to happen and it just had to happen hate it when everyone just grins and smiles at you.
OMG...I will have nightmares tonight. It's like those horrible dreams where you are suddenly out in public in your underwear.... Poor little muffin. :D
Three comments: 1. Full Credit for calmly carrying on!! 2. Pianist should have stopped after one verse (at the latest) 3. I'm really surprised there weren't signs of this in evidence in rehearsal or shortly before the day. That is quite an extreme change. It must have been noticeable in rehearsal or in the preceding days that things were changing and this could have been a risk that at least needed checking shortly before performance. Was he told, it'll be ok, go out there and I'm sure you'll get through it??
This would literally keep me from singing in front of people I'm in 5 grade so I know how it feels to go through p the process of your changing voice well at least the beginning of it
HAHA...that was hillarious! Yeah, at around one minute he curses to himself really quietly. That must have been embarasing to him, haha...oh well...his pain, our veiwing pleasure. funny vid! :D
kid's got balls! (unfortunately they dropped during the song)...
Dean Halley it must have been quite hot in there.
All I can hear is an evil choir master, giggling to himself as he plays the piano.
I think that kid in the back stared into my soul, also how did they not laugh????
Yeah
Because they have manners

as a female soprano I've never thought about it it must be worrying.
It’s a difficult sitch. I’ve been there.
What? You've never thought about how teenagers voice gets deeper? What's worrying? Just a sign of growing up...
17 years on how does this video not have millions of views still 😂 it remains one of my favourite moments in internet history

That was so epic! He kept swearing under his breath. That was funny. I can't stop laughing.
He's a True professional. Puberty hit him the most wrong time
If im at that stage id pass out from laughing
Drinking game idea: drink whenever you hear his voice crack.
Why didn't he just stop, I understand you carry on if you make a mistake but this was really painful to watch.
in musical performance you cant stop rip
Pain to listen to as well😅
At 1:01 He quietly whispered "shit". Poor kid, this was humiliating.

Pretty boy. What he did not sing he did with his looks and courage
Kudos to him for powering through that. Nothing like publicly bombing a song. He can sing in my choir any day.

Awwwwwwwwwwwww. Poor thing!
This is the moment quire kid became the riddler
