the thing about his tactic is that, the players, especially the goalkeeper and the backs, must have a very good vision and composure to break through the high press and find the free man from the build-up in the back. so, his gameplan will require if not world class players, a superior squad in that one particular competition. the only teams that i think xavi can implement this type of tactic to are Man City, Liverpool, PSG, possibly Juventus, Milan and Inter. no doubt its a good tactic, but if you have a shit squad, this tactic will most likely fail against any team.

This is why midfielders are genius managers. They know how to dominate and control the midfield, they know how to keep the ball, they know how to regain the ball, they know how to pass the ball, the know how to build an attack sequence or a defensive sequence. If you look closely, all the great managers are midfielders: Cruyff, Zidane, Xavi, Pep, all midfielders.
This was very intriguing, it's surreal how he manages to pick different types of teams apart enforcing complete dominance. I would love to be blessed by his knowledge in the art of coaching 🙏🏾
A little mix of johan, van gaal, rijkaard, Guardiola. I love it! I can’t wait for him at barca. He’s going to have gavi Pedri fati de jong just imagine that
Xavi is like a pragmatist. His tactics, his ideology are properly suit our players and team. I just hope he come to Barça and make us proud again💙❤️
I feel like Chelsa have been doing this this season and the example game was when Reese James had what…. 2 assists and a goal or something like that. My instinct reaction
Was about to say the same thing. I feel like Chelsea play slightly more direct football though.
Yeah i think so too
I dont know if he refers to wingers as RM's or LM's and inside midfielders as CAM's or regular
CM's...i know the pivots are the 2 CDM's in kante and jorginho
So does he mean a formation which looks like this?
Wng. St. Wng
Cam. Cam
Cdm. Cdm
Cb. Cb. Cb
Gk
Or Chelsea's regular formation under tuchel which looks like this
St
Cam. Cam
Rm. Lm
Cdm. Cdm
Cb. Cb. Cb
Gk
Lol? Tuchel's play style is the opposite of Xavi's philosophy
I came here from RabonaTV, and boyyy listening to Xavi talking about tactic is a bliss
These are the times when I wish I knew Spanish..
Lol I’m half Spanish
There are english subtitles too bro.. 🙂🙃
@@jaytripathi5996 Still, that's nowhere the same as being able to comprehend what Xavi has to say in first person, it's just something different. The subtitles are more like a compensation than an alternative, lol.
I rarely watch these kind of videos... but my god listening to Xavi is engaging and I'm glad I took the time.
I enjoy when managers have a specific tactic they want their team to play. I wonder what tactic is Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants Manchester United to play? You don’t see the specific style of play.
Ole tactic. Press the ball high, asking every player to be clinical, and all must have high workrate. Thats all. Basic instruction. Maybe..
@@amarnuar674 High fullbacks. Floating CAM with 1 inside forward to play the half spaces and 1 winger to stretch with the full backs (depending on the side). No9 with a highwork rate, that's clinical and he wants to play with a CDM we just don't have 1.
He has an obvious style of play but since Ronaldo came in, we can't play it because we can't press from the front.
Myyyy coach 🤍🖤🤍🖤🇶🇦🇶🇦
So proud of him
Made our team play beautifully and with such swagger
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Thanks for the great video! It's a video what I was looking for!
This man understands the game in a way few people can. It's what made him an incredible midfielder and I believe will make him an incredible coach. Hope he succeeds at Barcelona one day (Hopefully soon).
He will be a great coach, he is a genius
Xavi is the only hope for the best and for the future of Barcelona but Xavi is one great manager that I can listen all day.
Man i was waiting for this one... love the content guys keep it up!
Xavi Hernandez makes football beautifu, classy and sophisticated like chess
Come back Xavi we want you 🙏❤️💙
I love how determined this man is, back when he was a player and now as a coach you can see he knows exactly what he is doing
I thought I was pretty good tactically. But this video (I'm only 3 minutes in lol) is showing me that there are many levels to this game
GENIUS... one of the best midfielders to ever play the game and I hope he can be one of the best coaches too
Welcome to Back XAVI #FORCABARCA
This video is actually so fucking inspiring and I can't believe we get to listen and see this for free.
