Tbh, not everyone makes it past 60, we tend to forget that even when people have great opportunities and jobs, they are still subject to the mishaps of the human condition. One of them is dying before old age, either by some condition long well known or just because the body says "that's it". And that was indeed it.

People hated this movie?! Insane.
It's not just that, but generally speaking a lot of bad movies are due to writing or special effects rather than set/costume design. For example, nobody had problems with the costumes in thor: love and thunder or the marvels.
Ah yes those VFX artists being overworked by Marvel really made it with love and passion. Surely they didn't lose their passion while being overworked by Marvel with little pay.

The practical sets of Deadpool and Wolverine were absolutely amazing. The TVA office felt like a lived in place with so much lore. Thank you Ray Chan. May you rest easy. ❤🕊️💐

You can absolutely see the passion, creativity and authenticity behind all these amazing sets and designs Ray worked on. There’s so much real practical life and joy oozing out of every shot they’re in. To be honest I hadn’t heard of this guy until now but I’m so glad I can now connect such brilliant designs to a name and have him remembered for it. RIP, what a legend 🌟🫶
