Problems with bottled water:
• Buying plastic water bottles can be very expensive.
• There is a lot of plastic residue and chemicals that go along with drinking plastic bottled water.
When it comes to bottled water vs tap water, you really shouldn’t be drinking either. Instead of buying plastic water bottles or drinking tap water, consider getting a water filter for your home.

It never ceases to baffle me... people would blow their lid 🤯🤯🤯 over $12/gallon for gasoline but pay the same amount for tap water in a bpa bottle.

If you have fluoride in your tap water, be sure to buy the smart/fluoride removal cartridge for the pitcher. They have one for the refrigerator too.

I use Aquagear Pitcher, probably the only filter that filters Fluoride. It lasts roughly 3 months for a family of 2 and the water tastes great. The filter itself is $50, not a bad investment for your health.

thank you so much for the recommendation on the "water filtration" system. I will get that one. I have one called "Eco Living". it's pretty cool. Kids love it and tell me fish live inside of there because it has a blue florescent light when it comes on. I am OCD about Water... I collect Rain Water for drinking and cooking... Once collected, I treat it by bubbling it with Ozone, then filter it. I found the "Zero Water" filter to be the best for Tap Water as it removes 99.6% of all dissolved solids and all of the Chemicals, including Fluoride. I use the 5 stage filter for my Rain water... ZeroWater filters come with a TDS Meter, so one can test the purity of the water and know when it's time to change filters... Enjoy! Great little video. Thanks :-)

I stand by my water distiller..... Yes it may filter out some of the minerals from the water, but to get your required minerals from water, you would drown yourself many times over..... I do not depend on drinking water for my minerals.... Plus it is very satisfying once you get used to it.... Makes great ice cubes as well and clear ice not cloudy....
Add a half teaspoon of Himalayan pink salt to every gallon of distilled water.
True. I drink only distilled water for 15 years already. Tea and coffee with this water tastes much better. And also use it for cooking. Regular spring water after distilled tastes like a soup for me, I feel lots of different stuff dissolved there.
Which water distiller is best to get?
Distilled water is the way to go.

Very rarely do I buy bottled water. At home I use Big Berkey (6k gallon lifespan) and the Berkey shower filter as well (20k gallons or 1 yr). The shower filter is usually sold out. Berkey has info on their site re what their filters remove.
I use AquaCera filter costs about $160 for counter top system. Comes with two ceramic filter each rated at 600 gallons. The reservoir hold about 1.2 gallons, but larger ones are available. It also filters out fluoride.

My original comment: "Indeed, I've never found a more premium filter than the Berkey black. Those filters are investments."
Edit - I've personally found questionable readings in water purity tests after cleaning one of their filters by their instructions and did not have my concerns rectified. As such, I no longer endorse Berkey black filters.

Hey Dr. Berg, I love your contents. I bought the standard Crystal Quest filter pitcher two months ago because of this video. It worked great for 3 weeks. But after three weeks, the filter became extremely slow and unusable, because it took 3~5 hours to filter 1L water. I regret that I didn't pay attention to some of the similar complaints on their product website. I emailed Crystal Quest but never received a reply.
I hope you can make an update on the video in order to avoid misleading the new viewers.
Did you soak or pretreatment with a water rinse for at least 5 minutes?

I ordered from the Crystal Quest site (I live in Canada and it was only a few dollars more than ebay) and it asked why I chose the items (SMART Pitcher & extra cartridge). I simply put the channel's URL. I've been using a BRITA filter and I like it, but I LOVE the idea of having an almost "fire and forget" filter - that doesn't need to be replaced anywhere near as often. What a waste, throwing several filters away is. Thanks for the heads up!
Back in the ‘70’s when I was a kid we would vacation in Florida. Back then the water was atrocious... you smelled it before you tasted it and the taste was horrible. Dad said the locals get use to it to the point where they didn’t notice. Glad they fixed it.
Gotta have No floride (bad for pineal gland). Other Metals. Some people mentioned better options in the comments. I think its best to reevaluate the system (double check) that you recommended. Look at Berkey Filters, and the comments below on distilled water (add minerals).
I really appreciate your time to explain what to buy. This saves me time to research. I just follow your advice since your products so far have helped me. My cholestrol, blood pressure, sugar in the blood, etc.. are all in normal range.... wonder why? :)
I love my PUR faucet filter. I bought one for my mom and grandma so they can ditch the bottled water too. No more plastic trash and very convenient... tastes great
I bought a Berkey about 3 yrs ago! Best purchase I’ve made. Stainless steel canisters filters first with black filters then 2 ceramic filters to remove chemicals. My water tastes amazing. It’s powerful enough to clean pond water. My husband found a deal online and purchased direct. The black filters last 6000 gallons and 4000 on the white.

Right on Dr. Berg! do not drink the tap water without filtration.
I use a Doulton counter top ceramic filter. The Doulton is easy to use and easy to clean.
I have been using the same unit for about 3 years now.
The yearly cost comes out to about $50. A $50. investment in my good health.
If I ever need a new unit, I am planning to purchase a Doulton Stainless Steel gravity flow urn so that there is no hookup to my faucet.
I also use a Pelican Shower filter to take out the chemicals, otherwise my skin is so itchy from chlorine.
I use a GermGuardian air purifier that has a HEPA filter that really helps with my seasonal grass allergies.
I use less meds now that I have the air purifier.
I use an Essick Air Products Console Evaporative Humidifier in the winter otherwise my apt air humidity goes down to about 10-15%..really dry!
People make fun of me.... that I use and invest in all of these units (some were gifts) but I am a very proactive, holistic minded person.
Our modern environment is so polluted that we all need to be doing what we can to be as healthy as possible.
I spend about $120. a year on new filters. So is it worth $10. a month to have clean water, clean air, soft skin, and hydrated air.
