This week I wanted to share my journey to finding the perfect nursing shoe. I suffer from constant pain in my feet, and finding a shoe to last me 12 hours on my feet was no easy task. Don't forget to like, comment, subscribe, and share!!

P.S. I didn't physically show the shoe, because I keep them in the box in my trunk. I don't like to walk into the house or in my car with them to decrease the spread of germs/fluids. Stay safe!!!

I used to manage a shoe store and my best advice would be if you find a shoe that fits great and you love.buy 3 because they may not make them next year. Asics and sauconey are my favorites
I was waiting on the nursing pandemic discount from ASICS but they never sent it 😫😭 I’m just going to have to order them when they’re on sale! Lol
I was wearing croc but tried barefoot style and world of a difference, I am wearing the Hykes Pinnacle and feet feel so much healthier. I will never go back to regular restricted shoes.

OMG thank you!! I did my first 12-hour shift this week on the floor and my feet were killing me for two days. I watched so many vids and found yours. Immediately went to DSW and picked up a pair. They feel so good. I will update in two days after my next shift.

🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 finally another nurse with super flat feet ! I’m no longer alone😭😭did your podiatrist provide you with the inserts or did you find some on your own?! Also: I found that changing shoes during a shift helps. I usually change shoes at lunch time. Such a relief. & another tip: have 2-3 pairs of work shoes just so you don’t wear down the 1 pair constantly .
I got asics gel excite 8 for running but I still needed inserts. I got the inserts from the Dr. Scholls machine at Walmart, and that made the shoe so much better.
yes! i’ve finally found someone with similar foot history. 😂😂 i had my first foot surgery when i was 14 and i’m turn 20 this fall and i’m a nursing major...so yeah..i’ve been on the search for some comfortable shoes because i am planning on starting my cna certification next summer. thank you so much! i hope they work out for me!
also...do you wear compression socks with your shoes?
Omg hey boo! 😫😭 girl def try these! They’re not good with inserts, but I don’t have to wear them and I’m elated! Yes I do! I got some thigh high ones off of eBay that are SUPERB! They help with my knee pain as well 💕

Girl, my feet are on the flat side too so I feel you. Go get another pair now! You don’t wanna be needing new ones and not have any.
Omg I have already decided to get some I just want them in black so I can wear them out and about/errands, and switch them over for work when the blue ones wear out ☺️
ASICS for the win!! Mine got worn out so temporarily got some Crocs for work and no. They where not it for me although easy to clean. Now trying some SNIBBS designed by an orthopedic surgeon for all foot types. Suppose to be shoes for us nurses/professionals who are on their feet all day.

I have tried a lot of nursing shoes but I have to say that Nursemates are still my favorite.
Those are the CLASSICS! My mom used to wear them all of the time when I was growing up ☺️

Asics Novablasts or Novablast2. They blow away everything for me and a good price. HOKAS are great but I needed more toe room. Novablasts are amazing.

I have very flat feet as well! I have been looking at Hokas and Asics and I am torn. I really want to get slip resistant and I noticed the Asics are not slip resistant. Did you find them to work well on wet surfaces though?
Omg I JUST found out about Hokas yesterday! They aren’t slip resistant, but they have a decent grip! I honestly tip toe through all body fluids anyways! 😭😂
@@cassiekaygee Yes me too!! I’m a new grad and I’m in search for a good shoe. I had nurse mates during college but they didn’t allow good ventilation that was my only downfall. I’ve heard Hokas are really good for flat feet. I recently broke my foot, a Jones fracture and had hook plate placed. So hopefully the Hokas or ASICS will work ! Look into them as well, I haven’t heard anything bad about them !

I have them and they were comfortable at first but after 5 months your foot will start hurting again.

Nike 270 are my favorite to work in...they have blessed my feet and legs!

I do not have flat feet but I do deal with pain from my feet, legs and knees. Standing on my feet all day takes a toll. I never believed in putting money in shoes but after complaining my husband bought them for me. I won't work in anything else now. Those are air max btw...I think you mentioned you liked the older version in your video.
