For those not happy with the Clove, you can get a lot of running shoes for about the same price; closer to $100-110 if you buy off clearance. Many of the brand sites & Running Warehouse offer at least 90 returns. As an RN and a runner, I've tried many styles; currently wearing Altra Torin 5 for my widish feet.
I ordered my clove sneakers. Didn't take long to be delivered, I was so excited reading the reviews saying how good and comfortable it was. I tried on at home and it feels comfortable so I worn them to work. During my work shift I didn't feel comfortable at all comparing to my adidas sneakers. The width is not wide enough and It feels very tight and hurts my toenails. I am very disappointed with purchase. Don’t work for ppl who has wide foot.
what you're saying is so valid! they wont work for everyone. they work for me and my bunions i've always thought of my feet as wider than some but i think for me, it's only the top of my feet where my bunion sits
They honestly felt like bricks on my feet...They were NOT comfortable at all. It also frustrates me how you can't review freely on their website, it gives people false hopes of great shoes, but they just don't work for some people. Not a fan. I ordered some Kizik's instead and so far day 2 I love them!! It took me about 1 week for me to come to the conclusion that I didn't like Clove shoes at all.
All nurses... try the Hoka One One Bondi SR or Bondi Leather... you’ll thank me later! Don’t sacrifice all day comfort for “sexy aesthetics”... your patients don’t care... but your feet do! I have Hoka’s running on 2 years that are still crazy comfortable.
so true I ordered these cloves I though the rave was true, but its really not worth it. I did so much research and found the Hoka's they are amazinggg!
I just bought the black leather water proof hoka? So they held up, do you still like them? They are bulky but appear comfortable, I walked around my house. Do they squeak?
I wanted to love these, especially after reading reviews and paying $129. Bottoms of my feet were ok, but they dug into the front of my ankles so bad I had bruises. 😣

Got a pair in in February and now as of May I’ve put in a pair of superfeet inserts but my feet and legs and knees still hurt so bad. They were great for about the first month. Now they feel hard or maybe so soft I’m feeling the flor? My plantar fasciitis and sciatica is acting up with these. I love the clolors how easy they are to care for loved their customer service. Love the slip on and the laces. But the cushion is awful after wearing for 3-4 months. Switching between two pairs the entire time. I’m a pharmacy tech so ten hr shifts with a 30 minute break for lunch are the norm. I don’t suggest you get these unless you don’t have back or feet problems. I love Clove their shoes just don’t love me
Honestly for me cloves ruined my toenails. I bought a size 10 and I thought they were just a tad bit big, so I ordered another pair in a 9.5 as well. (The 10 was just slightly large over the top- not enough to return.) I recieved the 9.5 and it was decent length wise but way too narrow in the toe box. I wore them to work several times and my pinky toe would be dead by the end of the shift. (Mind you, I don’t have wide feet!). Wearing the 10, I had more room in the toe box but my foot slid back and forth in the shoe just a little bit, and after many months of this I ended up getting in grown toenails due to the shearing. I never found these shoes to be comfortable and I definitely don’t think they are worth the price. I will say that they are incredibly easy to clean and I love the style. I truly wish they were more comfortable, but maybe they just don’t work for me or my feet. This is just my experience.
Love your videos after a painful shift last night , while waiting for the train . I just ordered them . I hope these are the answer to my throbbing back and feet.
I wonder if these shoes would be good for retail work too. I work In the nonpharmcy side of a drugstore. I’m on my feet a lot and These look comfortable.
im always confused when nursing shoes have those little holes because at my school we're not allowed to wear shoes with mesh or little holes (im in Canada btw)
Heyy! So how do you feel about them a few months later? I've heard people say they have started to squeak for them and the creases are apparent. What's your take? Also do you have any other recommendations for brands?
Mine arrived yesterday, and I’m only on my second shift with them. Mine have squeaked from day 1, and they have creases after one shift. Also, there are pressure points that I’m not loving. I hope they break in soon.
Sarah Richards Oh no! Hopefully they will get a lot not comfortable as you wear them in..they’re not cheap! Super unfortunate to hear about the squeaking. The hunt for the perfect shoe continues
personally, i dont mind the squeak! like sarah said they squak from day one and they do have creases from using them but it does not really bother me! i sized up a haf size so i dont really have issues w pressure points (and i do have bunions 😕) what i will say is that, it doesnt stain, you can wipe anything off of it even bleach. the con for me is that my scrubs now drag behind me whereas with clogs, i was tall enough without them. i personally dont have any other sneaker recommendations. i like the SR Max Geneva Clogs! I will probably review more sneakers in the future.
I was so excited to receive my clove shoes. I wore them for my night shifts and It''s a big No! Blisters and not enough arch support. The heel cusion feeling was gone by the 2nd shift. I work hard for 12.5 hours straight and paying 150.00 for a shoe is very dissapointing.
My Two cents is.....BEWARE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE ISSUES. Something is not right with how this company is treating customers. I cannot speak to a person via phone. There is too much money being spent not to have a person help you when there is a problem. There was a mistake I was sent the wrong shoe size. I was sent a men's shoe I am within the 30 day return exchange. I am trying to correct this and now I am being told the sale is finale so there is nothing they can do. I do not wear men's shoe size. This shoe is not useful to me. Because I bought the shoe on sale I offered to pay any up-charges on a different pair just so I am not out of a shoe and the money I already paid for them. I think this is fair as I did not make this mistake and they would get more money from me plus the men's shoes I cannot use are returned to them. Only I’m being sent in circles with no resolve for a mistake I did not make? I’m being told to email support again. However, no one is calling me to resolve the issue. I emailed support and once again they sent me the same message, they cannot fix the issue stating the sale is final. This is not how you treat customers.
I really want some of these but I’m so hesitant as I’ve had bad experiences with nursing shoes. I tried Danskos and they were horrible! Too heavy, made my knees hurt by the end of my shift and definitely not safe to run in. Then I tried a pair of Nurse Mates and those hurt because the arch support was too high for my feet.
Yeah, as you’ve seen lots of mixed reviews! I do like my cloves but I don’t think it’s the end all be all shoe! Hopefully in the future as they evolve as a company they’ll make changes to make it much more comfy!
I'm glad I came across your video, I'm definitely interested in getting a pair but I hope they're comfortable in a sense that I am flat footed soo hoping they work for me fingers 🤞
As far as the sizing I know you said you sized up I typically wear an eight in sneakers.. Are you between sizes in other shoes or did you just size up for the comfort?
on the cloves website they said to size a half size up bc of how tight it can feel around your ankles (where the lip of the shoe meets your foot) depending on what socks you wear. i dont notice that i sized up though!
My wife loved keen but they don’t make the ones she likes anymore. She tried the ultraboost as well. She has wides feet. She is an er surgical technologist. What would you suggest she try working 12 hour shifts?
I haven’t noticed any color changes on them in terms of spilling fluids. I think maybe if you spill a colored med that easily stains it might but other than that blood and other things wipe right off!
Just got mine today. I'm an X-ray tech and picked the night shift color. Can't wait for my shift tmr. I noticed them yeezy boxes too XD im a yeezy fan as well. Had a close call with blood while wearing mine to work one day so I thought I'd get some actually sneakers. With all the FB advertising I caved and bought a pair. Even got free compression socks with mine
That’s awesome! How do you like yours? I used to wear fly knits and would get blood on them 😬 so now I don’t wear knits at work haha. I didn’t get compression socks! I wish I did though!
@@TriciaYsabelle their actually not bad. I feel like I dont even have shoes one when I wear them. I will admit I feel like ultraboost is still a bit more comfortable. And there definitely is some squeaking while walking but I personally don't mine and tune it out real fast. The black colorway creased as soon as I walked in them but im not really wearing them for style. Overall I do like them their easy to wash easy to get in and I don't regret it. After buying yeezys the price feels like nothing lmao. Whats your favorite yeezy?
Hi! I’m a size 8 in women’s and i sized up per the website! Personally I like sizing up. The ankle part where you put your foot in does not dig into your skin and there’s a little bit of room in the shoe without it feeling too big
These look great, I hope more companies continue to hide their logos. Shoes these days sport massive logos that take away from the look and design of the shoe.

What shoes do you love? I’m looking for some
What shoes are you wearing then? Looking to buy my mother some.
Definitely order up a size but honestly I don’t really care for my cloves as much as my brooks and ASICS.
RT here and I currently wear adidas UltraBoost. Been looking into brooks ghost 11, and the asics. Which asics/brooks do you use and recommend?

The tread on the bottom wore off in less than 1 years and I alternated shoes every other day. So in 6 months they were no longer slip resistant
Its my first year teaching so I’m looking for comfy shoes, thank you for the review. Also totally random but we have the same bed frame lol
Definitely a Filipina Nurse... Mabuhay!

i hope it's helpful! my friend in the OR said she walked 14K steps in them and they felt great but i know that there's mixed reviews on them.
I had the Dansko and it's heavy not comfortable at all so I'm a skeptic of any expensive shoe. I still like the espirit inexpensive and comfortable.😘
I didn’t like the danskos either!
Same. Danskos caused plantar fasciitis for me.
Going back to my asics/mizunos.cloves weren’t for me.

I may have to give these cloves a try, thanks for the review
You’re welcome! They’re really comfy. Just be sure to size up a half size!
I bought mine in February 2021. Just got my pair this month. I wish it came sooner, but it was worth the wait.
Starting a new job in NYC where it rains quite a lot. Would you still recommend this over the On Cloud waterproof sneakers? Thanks!
im always confused when nursing shoes have those little holes because at my school we're not allowed to wear shoes with mesh or little holes (im in Canada btw)
I had a coworker once wear Crocs and I'm like WHYYYY. I stick to Danskos, Gravity Defyers, and just bought a pair of Cloves. I like them so far!
What kind of school doesn't allow mesh on shoes???? So that means you can't wear any/most sport shoes like Nike/Adidas?

Yes. I agree! Only really used it for like one week or two nursing shifts when this was taken.
