Gosh this is great. I love the contrast between Matty's hometown and Rang's, both are full of home and memories. And that Bun Bo looks killer. Wish we'd see more of all the foods they ate.
Wow vice actually pulled it off. Good job vice. Remember seeing an episode on how this trip between these two should happen
This show is amazing. It has everything, two great friends' stories, great food knowledge, and not a script. If you ever worked in hospitality and were close to those workers in the back of the house, you can really appreciate and somehow see yourself in those stories. Great job people.
If Master Rang wrote a book about his life and the food culture in Vietnam I would 100% buy it! Vietnamese food is very underrated ❤️
I love the appreciation you have for rang, multiple uploads and you guys are truly friends everyone wants to be!
So great. I love these two together. Such a beautiful friendship. More episodes please?
Master Rang recounting his boat journey towards the sun really made me tear up. This was part of his healing journey. This is such a special show, they need to keep it going especially after Matty’s success on The Bear
How do you say thank you in Vietnamese?
Rang: Cảm ơn
Matthew: Come on
Matty and Master Rang in Vietnam! This is the online content I needed. I watch all of Matty’s shows. So much chaotic energy, and he works so hard.
Rang doesnt fit in anymore
He stands out as much as Matty
Love That About Them
💪💪💪💪
its all alright, the roots are still there but just like a tree we all gotta branch out.
That's because of Matty.
Fitting in is over rated anyway
I bet this video hit different with all your Vietnamese fans. Definitely got me moist in the tear ducts. Just another reminder of how fortunate I am to be where I am today. To be able to live the life that I live with my family and friends. To be blessed in more ways then imaginable. Forever grateful and looking forward to my next trip back to the motherland. Great video. Love to Matty and Rang.
I'm so glad they're posting these episodes on RUclips
This has Anthony Bourdain soul oozing out of it. Please make them travelling a full series, and change NOTHING.
THIS
I thought the exact same thing. Rang is Matty's Zamir.
Why does someone always have to mention Anthony Bourdain on videos in Vietnam? The guy hardly spent anytime in Vietnam. Be more original.
@UC3nB9Ahp9ME7GaP-pqn5bGA anthony spent a lot of time in Vietnam da fuck u talking about
Matty got dropped from vice when Murdoch bought them out to make it more mainstream appeal, however matty has hundreds of videos on RUclips and this isn’t even his best one
Inspiring.. especially to see it first hand, your journey..life is unusual and strange and beautifully confusing and unexpectedly heartbreaking with joy..touched!
This is next level, what an amazing story! Top notch work Vice, let’s send Rang and Marty all over the world!!
those ladies are awesome! "His arm is around me, does that mean he wants me?" lol
These guys are living there best lives, the food culture in Vietnam is incredible. I just sit here drooling.
That was really touching... Munchies, these 2 should have a travel show
I get teary eyed watching yall . Makes me miss Vietnam
This was so heartfelt seeing your friendship.
