Sir, both of mine came in the mail yesterday and I am doing several cosmetic mods right now but the mods you did are much needed. My only complaint/question is why don’t you link or tell us the products you used? I know the motor/ESC and can see the reefs servos in the video but where do you get servo arms like that? Also, could you suggest a comporable servo that is a little easier on the wallet?
I was going to get this but ended up getting a Horizon Harbor Tug Boat I am waiting for all the kinks to be worked out of the first gen Hauler and hoping they drop more colors 👍 Thanks for these reviews 💯
Did you break gears? If you did, let us know the conditions please. I don't think anyone has pushed this enough in the wild to stress out the drivetrain.
Did I miss the kv of the motor? 2000 or 2500kv? I think I am gonna try a fusion SE 1800 when I get one of these. I have a lot of fusion pros and firmas so the SE seems a viable choice.
Can't wait to find a 4wd chassis this body will fit on. I love the look but have zero use for it as a 2wd on road. It'd never get off the shelf. I'm hoping it'll fit a trx6 g63 or scx6 jlu chassis since i have them both and I'm not in love with either body. If not I'll buy whatever works to make it usable. I really don't care one way or another about the bed. If it'll fit also, great. If not then something else will work.
You don'r make the springs softer or harder by adjusting the top end of the spring. You are just adjusting the ridehight, equivallent to the top end of the coil spring. 🙅♂️
When you compress a spring you are taking all the “spring” out of it creating less travel space which in return makes the ride harder .. when you allow the spring to have more space to move freely you get a softer ride … if it were a coil over then it would just be adjusting ride height because the whole coil moves with the adjustment..
@@outspokenRC the springrate is equal to the thickness of the coil and the rise of the coil/turn. But you cannot make it softer by adjusting the preload.
Thanks for the tips! Preload does not change the spring rate of the shock But it will change the amount of force to get the shock moving. Changes ride height as well. But to the point, a lot of preload will make the suspension stiffer.
The thing is a cruiser it's not meant to go on dirt or loose gravel it's a holler it doesn't need a ton of speed I knew it would only be a matter of time before somebody would figure out a way to screw with this thing up
Nice holler :) It is a great platform to work on to fit one’s needs, customize and expand its utility. Way more fun and usable now. To claim that is ‘screwing it up’ is childish
Yeah I want one so bad, that’s awesome with the aluminum and the wood love it saving up I will get one appreciate you sharing as always
Right on, hope you're able to get one.

I forgot to mention, how about what shocks?
Love it! great upgrades
Glad you like them!

That looks pretty cool
The redcat hauler is awesome ❤️🔥
I have the trx6 hauler... also very nice RC💪😍
Great video as usual! Can you tell me what shocks you used? Thanks so much
Anyone else have the diff gears break in the hauler?

So did you end up using an external BEC power up the servos?
How does the drag slash look on the both? To wide?

It is 2500kv
Could you run a hobbywing fusion pro 2300kv and 55kg servos for more lift?
Most definitely. Need longer servo arms

@@RCReviewChannel it just chanches the ridehight!
@@RCReviewChannel untill you make the spring compleatly compressed.
Does not look right sit up so high
That's easily adjustable. And now it's very usable and driveable.

Part of the rc hobby is modifying them to your likes
So he didnt ruin nothing He improved it
You seem like a fun person 😅
