Lovely variety as always. The apple tree was such a perfect backdrop for the gorgeous Cedar Waxwing! And the image of the mist behind the birch trees was really super! What a great day of shooting and enjoying the season changing!
Thank you very much! The Waxwing is indeed a very special bird. They can only be seen late autumn where I live. They nests further north and only fly past where I live when they are migrating south. :)
What a nice surprise, I wasn't expecting a video from you this weekend! Hey, Thomas...do you like Panoramas? Lol I especially enjoyed this video, such a great variety of subjects. You my friend, are an excellent photographer! We haven't had any snow here yet but they are saying we can expect 2cm's this evening and then rain. The autumn colours are gone now so I'd like to have some snow to make it look nicer outside. It's just a matter of time :)
Thank you Mike! The time between autumn and winter can be a real challange for a photographer. Hopefully that snow you mentioned will fall from the sky for you. Have a great week Mike! :)
@@ThomasRaskPhoto It rained all last night and into this morning. Turned to snow about an hour ago but it's the wet and soggy stuff. Typical early November weather in other words, perfect if you're a duck :)
@@ThomasRaskPhoto Me too! They are predicting we will have an El Nino winter this year. For us in this part of Canada that means warmer than "normal" and less precipitation. We will see what happens. I'd be happy with fewer -30 days :)

Oh Thomas, those bird photos are beautiful!! Love the B&W with the tree trunks.
Thank you! Both the waxwing and magpie are very beautiful birds! :)
Fiskmås ! Thank you for another cozy video Thomas. Loved it
Thank you Kenneth! I'm glad you enjoyed my video. Have a nice Sunday! :)
Hi Thomas, wide spectrum, very nice! Yes, bad weather means good photos. Like your sensitivity of finding good motifs.
Hi there Christian! Thank you! You are absolutely right. "Bad" weather can really do wonders for photography. 😀
Nicely done. You've got a steady calming approach.
Thanks David! 😀
Great video as always Thomas, we have had plenty rain and high winds but no snow.
Thank you Donald! Sounds like "stay indoors" kind of weather. 😀
Great shots. Also, it's called a tree stump :D
Thank you! Tree stump, got it. Thanks again :)
Oj vilka fin färger den har äppel fågeln 😊
Sidensvans! Dom är verkligen speciella. :)
So good, as always, Thomas! You may not have to get images for your portfolio every time, but the ones you got are really good.
Thank you Bryan! I'm glad you liked my photos. I had a really good day, outdoors with my camera. :)
Hej Thomas!

Wet and soggy! Ugh! :) Happens every year. We just have to be patient. I'm excited to capture some winter photos. :)

Wow, you have -30 at winter. That is very rare where I live. -20 yes. You have to travel very far north for -30. :)
Bilden vid 10:40 gillar jag skarpt
Tackar tackar! Det var väldigt vackert den dagen. Inte många gånger i en livstid man får så bra förutsättningar för att fotografera. :)
