A large portion of the characters in _HSR_ are expies of characters from _Honkai Impact 3rd_ (themselves having originated from _GunGirlZ_ unless your name is 'Kiana,' in which case you were in Mihoyo's first game, _Fly Me 2 The Moon_ ), but Welt Yang (and Void Archives) is just straight-up from there. They crossed into _HSR_ to try to stop aliens called 'Sky People' from killing _HSR_ 's Himeko. Or at least Welt did, as he feels partially responsible for Murata Himeko becoming a Valkyrie and putting herself into a position of having to sacrifice herself so her student could regain control of herself. Void Archives is just along to stop the Sky People. There's also a version of Bronya in _HI3_ who's slightly older than the version found here. If you want to look her up, you can search 'Silverwing N-EX Bronya.' _HI3_ 's Kafka is a sleepy artifact set, their Silver Wolf named Haxxor Bunny, and March has a bit of Carole Peppers's design mixed in with Elysia's colours and obsession with cute things, and Kiana's brain thrown in for... reasons. Dan Heng could indeed be based on Kazuha, as he is in turn based on Fu Hua's Azure Empyrea battlesuit. Yanqing's _HI3_ self is an older guy, while Bronya Zeychik and Seele Vollerei are younger. You haven't met them yet, but there's a Sushang and a Luocha as well. Luocha is a specific pronounciation of 'Raksha,' the title that Li Sushang calls the Overseer of Shicksal because she has trouble pronouncing his real name -- Otto Apocalypse.
