His light cone is such insane value as well, bc even with the follow-up damage increase aside, the free cdmg and skill/ult dmg increase are such big free stats to have on any Erudition character
It brothers me how good it is. I feel pressured to pull on the weapon banner, even though I know I need to save for Luocha because having Natasha as my only healer is going to screw me over in the long run. Seeing all the hype around Seele's and now Jing Yuan's light cones is brutal-I want to pull for everything.

I wasted all my lucent afterglow and upgrade mats for the f2p forgotten hall lc. I just pressed single pull twice in the LC banner for the first time and got Before Dawn.
I did not pull before him. I had a very big problem balancing investing single target Dan Heng and AOE serval. After I got him. He dealed more single target damage than buffed dan heng and more AOE and serval while using a completely different team. I also grouped Dan Heng and serval in 1 team too. I suddenly had the answer for everything.
He kinda solved all my problems. Fire MC, Bailu, Tingyun, Jingyuan are literally my line up for the majority of the time. Both Bailu and MC only E when needed, leaving most of the skill points to Tingyun and Jingyuan. The only problem is his stats requirements to really be good. He needs all the good stuff to consistently 10 stacks LL and have the damage. I'm still lacking speed main stat and lightning damage boost.

Tingyun can also use the Planetary Rendezvous LC on rate-up in the LC banner to give Jing Yuan free lightning damage, +12% to 24% depending on SI, since she is also lightning.
I actually got both Jing Yuan and his Light Cone and I really love his playstyle. 10 stack lightning lord is just so satisfying, especially if you can break them.
@@sev559 weird it happened once in SU 6 when cocolia freezed jing and it was lightning lord's turn, it resetted back to the bottom with 3 stacks. I'll try to do it again.
@@narukamishogun9016 no, i have jing any CC on him makes his LL not get his turn and would still retain all the stacks he have this is the case no matter what CC, you could also use this to his advantage when he get cc and if your jing is fast enough he will get his turn before LL and you can stack his LL more, but it's very inconsistent.

So I just had a thought. With E6, the buff lasts until the end of Lightning Lords turn. Could you take advantage of that by sneaking in an ult as soon as the animation starts? When you do that with a player character, the "turn" gets put on hold until after the ult ends, so would the same work with an ally unit?

You can use March for MoC. It's a bit tricky though. March + Landau's Choice is enough for boss that deals a lot of Single Target damage, for boss with AoE damage you need a SPD boots for March and waste some skill points. It's definitely harder but still doable.
I've been wondering...does anybody know what is the difference between lightning/fire/physical damage boost stats with just atk/atk% stats on the relics?
think of it like this. Atk% mainstat for the sphere part will give more damage through the scaling of the skills etc. However, damage boost is separate from scaling. If you deal 2k damage without elemental damage boost, using a 20% damage boost, it will become 2k x 20%. Elemental damage boost is better since it won’t get affected by diminishing returns unlike Atk.
Why everyone prioritize ult over skill? He basically uses his skill 2 times per turn (unless he build poorly) which is already the same dmg as ult, but it happens every turn unlike ultimate which usually used every other turn.
There is strat for auto battle with Jingyuan, bronya, and tingyun. Basically get the relic set that starts you with 1 extra skill point to your healer. Then make jingyuan faster than bronya so if bronya skills jingyuan, Jing can still use skill again. Turn order will be like this: Tingyun>Jingyuan>Bronya>Jingyuan>Healer> Lightling lord 10 stacks. Tingyun and your healer can just recycle skill points since tingyun's buff lasts three turns.
I am really glad I skipped seele and pull jing yuan....Ofcourse damage wise seele in still top but for me jing yuan is more fun and and best aoe damage dealer

Even IF that was true, Yanqing being "worse Seele" would be still good, since you need 2 teams for Memory of Chaos (which is the only content that's hard enough for you to care about units' power levels)

Ngl I still prefer Himeko. Her kit not only forces you to play around Weakness break, which is a very good mechanic to use anyway, but she hits like an absolute fucking truck with E1 and/or E2. Build her right and you honestly don’t need to pull for any other characters
I have both and himeko is no way near JY level, not only her follow up atk scaling sucks, its too conditional and not consistent, in other hands JY can trigger follow up atk with amazing atk scaling without any hassle requirements

Then I got JingYuan from my very first wish from the event banner and then got Clara from beginner on my reroll account. I don’t know which one to use now, I really like Gepard, my favorite from standard.
I stumbled over "getting all The Hunt blessings" on my latest simulation run n it made Jing Yuan extra stupid- He just kept chain attacking! e than ult than E again then ult again. He soloed most enemies because no one else got to have a turn with those hunt buffs xDD Absolutely deliciously broken

For pre TL50-55, Just main stat is good enough
