Ask any SINGAPOREAN if a war starts in the SCS either in the Philippines, Taiwan or Vietnam against China who they will side for, believe you will not get an instant answer. The reason being that if they choose against China their economy will suffer greatly because more than 50% trading and money in Singapore are from Chinese state owned Company's.... They need to choose a side now.
Singapore has some great equipment...but no chance in any war. Sad reality. Singapore can be taken by Indonesia or Malaysia...Singapore may fight back, but has zero chance of winning.
Dude, are you kidding me? Singapore is superior than Malaysia in both the quantity and quality of its Air Force, be it in terms of fighter jets or Air Defences or BVRAAM inventories or even AEW&CS, tankers, etc. And in Naval forces it is the same story, from Frigates to Submarines, Singapore again leads in quantity AND quality. Just an FYI, I am not pro-Singapore, I am from a neutral country (that would frankly obliterate all of ASEAN combined, but that is besides the point).
