She looks younger and sexier with this new clean cut. Great job and this is what I'm looking for. My hair is thinning at the crown towards the back and my swirl/cowlick. Toppik has really helped. I'm trying to create proper layers but I cut the top layers (to give volume - I had the same idea) too thick and am growing it out. I had to also cut the length because of the layers I put in which made the back look scraggly and sometimes see-through. Just blunt cutting an inch or three and my hair looks so much thicker (I used to have really thick hair naturally, now I have to create thickness with styling products and techniques). I wish I could find a local stylist that could do what you just did. My hair is around the same length as Marlena's after the cut.

This was totally Real Life relatable to so many people out there that struggle with hair loss, I wish my hair stylist took the time to consult with me when I ask her to trim my hair, I walk away not happy and she just trims it straight across the bottom, something my husband could probably do, no layers for volume, nothing but straight hair that won’t even hold a curl when I spend hours trying to curl it and only lasts a few hours. When you put Marlena's hair behind her shoulders and she had a few bits hanging down at the front, around her shoulder or collarbone area, she looked really good. I thought the shorter style and layering would help. She looks even more beautiful. :)

I am almost sixty. My hair was thin. Then I switched to a carnivore diet. Now my hair is so thick it is hard to wear it in a ponytail because of its weight. No extensions, no drugs, no supplements, just eating eggs and meat ONLY. Who knows, it may work for you!

I love Marlena's new look.....What made my heart the happiest is that I never heard the word "BOB" once. I'm so tired of Bob, I just wish he would go out and float in the pool and you know ..."bob"! I'm terrified to get my hair cut. I moved away from my wonderful hair dresser extraordinaire, who made me beautiful for over 15 years. Where I now live, for 11 years, I've not been able to find even one hair pro who can think outside of the box. So this video my me happy because there are still hair pros that do the right thing!

I have thin fine hair.... I used thinning shears and in a process like how I section off for using my flat iron.... I used the thinning shears to add some texture... fairly short.... underneath sections or layers of longer hair (especially under a thin section at the top of my head) and it gave me so so much more volume and I barely removed anything and kept my length
