I just ordered this phone, looking forward for the massive improvement from my old phone which I've had for years, my old phone is samsung galaxy S8, so for me this is a massive upgrade haha.
I think the base S21 is the best you can get if your budget ranges between $800~$900. Samsung has their own reason for the 1080p screen @120hz because it is pointless if they give QHD with 120hz considering the battery cap(plus it is a Dynamic Amoled screen, so pictures and vids are still crisp). Secondly, plastic back isn't a problem considering it is required to be wireless charging compatible & the phone feels so much premium wheb you see and hold the phone irl. Lastly, Samsung cut down the price considering they aren't giving charger brick so spending a couple of dollars on the charging brick isn't gonna hurt. The removal of SDcard slot is pretty logical too cause phones nowadays have a big big storage. So I am with Samsung on these decisions.
I agree, since I just bought one 2 years later. The Moto e I'm using is the same size (I like that) and the S21 still seems to be a good choice, even today. It had to have been top drawer when you got yours. Do you still have it? My Moto will be an excellent backup and when I upgrade the S21, it will become the backup. The prices you quoted aren't much different than today and my refurb one was about $325 prior to tax. For having 256 gb, anything is good these days and I've always liked Samsung's phones. I thought I wasn't thrilled with "only" 256 gb, but even with my memory sim on my Moto, I have less than 100 gb and I've done fine with that. If I ever need more space, I'll buy another old refurbished phone that will be as new to me then, as this one is to me now. I can't help to wonder why anyone would spend so much of their income on a phone. Well, I did plunk down about $500 for a head unit for my car, but the old outdated factory radio was broken, my car is 6 years old (but looks new), so I now enjoy an updated car system for about half the cost of this phone. By waiting to buy it, I got something else that I can also enjoy for a couple years to come. So, I'm with you, being with Samsung.

*I want to ask that people complain a lot on standby mode which drains your battery quickly than other devices..but how it can endured battery that long hours??* 🤔🤔
I think that the S21 is a compact high end phone, not a flagship like the s21 Ultra. Pricing of €850 (s21) and €1250 (s21Ultra) differentiate them quite a lot, almost +50%. So why do you keep comparing them to each other? Off cause the S21 wont be the same as the Ultra?

Honest opinion: The size is great. I personally prefer bigger phones but many people prefer smaller ones and I would like this size as well. Screen...great, as always but you just don"t have to go down in qhd to get higher refresh rate...because it does not have qhd....last years was a joke as many phones use higher refresh rate with more than 1080p. Plastic phone, not preferred by all for this price, it's a joke and I can agree. The battery is barely avg if it can be considered that, no charger, supports ONLY 25W. Considering what other brands do nowadays...40W should be minimum, c'mon, you are behind times now. Worse chipset for Europe no matter what they say about the new Exynos, I've had one of their phones before and they were cheating everyone who got Exynos in both performance and battery optimization. For this price, no thanks, Scamsung!

Who owns a Samsung and it’s comfortable with it? What about the new iPhone? ( I don’t want to have the same problem with the storage and the software updates, maybe it’s because my phone is way too old idk)
is it normal to feel that when on a call the persons voice on the call "feels like they are talking from far away". Or does this mean my phone might be faulty?
I just bought this a few days without really researching it because my old phone was super old, and I needed one ASAP. What I didn't like was the charging base wasn't included.
My S20 was really bad in battery life and was really hot with exynos chip. So I was really not happy (I used it for 2 months before it got stolen and Iam now on S10 Lite and I love it). So for the new phone to have a much better battery life and last years 865 plus performence is a great news compared to S20. So thumbs up Samsung good job with new exynos. I guess they listened to costumers.

im probably gonna get a crapstorm here but imo samsung phones have always had (and still have) pretty sucky cameras, especially in low light. even the ultra.
S21 looks more premium. But battery life is terrible(compared to mi9t Pro)and heats up a lot(I hope it's just my unit). The plastic back is actually good. This is not a power user phone. But if you can get a power bank it's okay. I will probably return this and get a s21 ultra the battery life is perfect for my usage.BTW I bought s21 because I hate using a case with my phone.I was planning to get a skin for the back and using it without case.My older mi9t Pro is glass backed and it survived a lot of drops without case.
It's hard to come up with stuff I guess, but overall S21 is a robust device with more than adequate hardware. The price is for now too high though, and what Samsung should have imitated from Apple instead of getting rid off the charger, they should have introduced a compact phone and still should. One thing that is finally right is the battery life and you know what, that is more important in a practical phone than all the greatest bells and whistles. Good phone, but out competed.

RUclipsrs still being astonished that a base model device isn't as good as the Ultra/Plus😆
By your logic they could make the base model as crappy as they want and we still can't complain. That makes no sense.
@@Raison_d-etre
I think you don't understand how price tiers work.
The base S model cannot be worse than an A series nor better than the S Plus/Ultra.
My point is youtubers know this yet seem perplexed by a £$750 phone being not as good as a £$1400 phone.
I am watching in my Galaxy A10 with 480p resolution and its already very clear to me i mean the video.
Where is the S21+ review?
No ones got it yet the s21 and s21 ultra shipped early for reviewers
@@kieranlake2085 thank you, I’m planning to buy the s21+ because it seems like the sweet spot.
I want this phone ✨️✨️
I am happy with my S10 PLUS.

*I want to ask that people complain a lot on standby mode which drains your battery quickly than other devices..but how it can endured battery that long hours??* 🤔🤔
Before I got this phone I didn't realize it didn't have a headphone jack...
I bought the USB C adapter four months ago and now it doesn't work. I miss my S6.
Is that ur officiall website i used compare lot of phone specs before buying??????
I think that the S21 is a compact high end phone, not a flagship like the s21 Ultra. Pricing of €850 (s21) and €1250 (s21Ultra) differentiate them quite a lot, almost +50%. So why do you keep comparing them to each other? Off cause the S21 wont be the same as the Ultra?
Are they still Flagship phones ??🤔

now the Charger and the Headphones, don't know what is the reason make people buying Samsung now
Never will i recommends samsung phone again with all features missing . I'll recommend pixel and iphone
so pixel and iphone have those features you mentioned?
@@phillihp5311 bro these all are Samsung features
@@nishitmina9983 yeah you are recommending other phone which do not have those features as well
@@phillihp5311 No
I just recommend Samsung to don't remove these beautiful features 🙏
Uh.... scumsung?
I need a new phone I still have my iPhone 6s since it came out when I was high school, the new software doesn’t update anymore and I have no space even tho I have no photos and no apps it says “system” and “other” I’m tired of that shit I mean this phone lasted me 7 years good shit.. any recommendations? Who owns a Samsung and it’s comfortable with it? What about the new iPhone? ( I don’t want to have the same problem with the storage and the software updates, maybe it’s because my phone is way too old idk)
So out of 10, what would you rate it ?
is it normal to feel that when on a call the persons voice on the call "feels like they are talking from far away". Or does this mean my phone might be faulty?
I just bought this a few days without really researching it because my old phone was super old, and I needed one ASAP. What I didn't like was the charging base wasn't included.
Just bought this phone to replace APPLE. Does anyone know how to transfer music and videos from a MAC onto the samsung?
ruclips.net/video/J5ka4MrZvTQ/видео.html
You make it sound like people want curved screens..... Last time I asked around no one does they are a pain in the arse.
Is there any difference between the s21 and the s21 5g like the a71 and a71 5g?
Your voice and smile is so soothing.
Yeah. Let's see if the price is 30% higher than China and USA.
I'm trading in my s10 plus for the s21 for no extra cost but I don't really know if I want the s21 over my s10 plus
What is your country?
Please change your camera test sample pics and videos. It's getting repetitive now!
Actually. It's good that they do the same spots. Then you can compare with previous phones.
Just a simple ask:
I use s8, will i buy s 20 ultra (but its little bit big) or a normal s21 (not s21ultra)?? Thanks
or u can wait 3-4 months till samsung cuts the price down to like $500-$600 of the s21
Thinking of upgrading. Should i wait for s22 or get the s21 now?
I heard s22 will come with a smaller battery!
We just have to wait. We dont know yet. The s22 may also come with even better battery efficiency. So, nobody knows... Although, s21 fe is not a bad choice, if you dont mind the cutdowns in build quality...
@@stelios5314 heating issues and bad battery life
@@deannag0330 Youre talking about s22's battery life? If yes, I have read about that... So maybe we should wait for the s23?🤣 (I am always waiting for the next Galaxy S, once they always have mediocre batteries). Thanks for informing us! (feeling sad for your dissatisfaction though)
How much ram does it have?
wtf!? those pictures don't look like they were taken with the s21, those were awful
im probably gonna get a crapstorm here but imo samsung phones have always had (and still have) pretty sucky cameras, especially in low light. even the ultra.
Yeah, my samsung's video and photos have always been disappointing
@@hirmuli7022 Yea I agree. The Motos and Pixels have way better cameras, the Pixel quality is crazy.
I don't need it, I don't use camera. I will keep my S8.
What is the name of the game that was played?
So which is a better buy: the S21 (6.2' Exynos2100) or the S20 FE 5G (SD865) ???
Can the s21 cast to tv without using Chromecast or a router, i.e. just using WiFi data? I don't have a router, just use my unlimited data on T-Mobile. I'm cheap, just use my data for internet.
I rather get one unlocked that way I can use it with any service for 1,599.99 at My World Phone
Why you don't want the s21.
Can't play standard video in landscape without cropping. Why every review would leave this out is dubious?
just supported your channel
This photos is from Bulgaria?
Damn this dude should do all the reviews!
The new samsung software update changed my phones model name from galaxy s21 ultra to s21 5G please is this normal?
I just bought this phone. Even though you can't plug in earbuds are you still able to plug it into an aux like in the car?
Yup, tey getting some converter / adapter first 😃
is there a specific S pen that goes with it
Telephoto lens x1.1=12mp (crop) X2=12mb{crop) x3=8mb upscaled to 12mp but with video its "real 4K at x3 zoom"
Question: Would you trade in the LGV60 thinq 5G for this the plain S21 5G (would be a swap with no cost) thanks!!!
You can compare their specs and decide, I have the S20 5G and not thinking of upgrading.
Yes
What's the game he is playing in the video
It might be leage of legends
Can I put a iPhone SIM card into this phone
