Cloud Busting - Bryony Dunn (Cover of Kate Bush's song 'Cloud Busting' released in 1985)
Bryony is a wistful, nostalgic song-writer creating beautiful folk-rock/pop song drenched in sounds from the 70s. ‘Bryony’s new EP ‘Spring in the City’ is bathed with warm sunshine (with the occasional April shower) taking you from blossom in the forest to the dance floors of London and back again’.
From her impressive collection of self-produced EPs, her music has been recognised by Radio X, BBC Introducing, Sofar Sounds, various festivals and campaigns with Doc Martens.

I'm confused - what were the two guys there for? Lovely quality to your voice, but I was expecting stellar harmonies....
Without looking up vids of the rest of the gig, this would be a section, where the main singer solo's the song. Sometimes the rest of the band would walk off stage, but possibly not feasible within this scenario, so sometime the rest of the band members would hang around.. Which can look weird for just one video. I bet on the next song they participated. TBH i thought maybe they might have come in around the verse after the first chorus, but I guess it was just a pure solo song.
Definitely hard to cover kate well. You guys did good. My only critque would be sometimes your high belts were just a bit over the top and maybe could have been controlled a bit more but wow, what a Beautiful voice!!

It's nice , but you need to tune into tje weirdness of the original - the wtfv is she on about . This is not a pretty song , it's subversive - IMO
it's based on The Book of Dreams by Peter Reich, Wilhelm Reich's son. Reich was a prized pupil of Freud's who was killed by the government in prison in the 1950s for his allegedly subversive works

@axileus9327 Well we’ll agree to disagree. It had nothing to do with her range but the affectation in her voice that so many (particularly female) vocalists produce these days. Plus, it was dreary.
