I've worked hard to get strength in my quads and glutes and my dorsiflexion is pretty good - all through doing Pilates over many years. However, none of this helps now that my knee joints are in such a mess. Since I have a marked tendency to get nasty infections following any sorts of operations, doctors are somewhat reluctant to do any knee replacement surgery unless absolutely necessary. Any ideas on how I can cope with knees that are a literal mess?

top tip..don't get old. But if you do, eat healthy, and move to a hilly region. Deffo put the bungalow on hold.
