When I was a kid, around 16-17, I used to fix surfboards for me and many friends and had a problem in my blood because I didn't wear a mask. Went to the doctor because a hurt wouldn't heal for a month. He said it was the gas from the resin. As soon as I stop fixing surfboards the hurt healed. I really appreciate your hard work and many years of serving the surf community! Good glassers deserve recognition! Thanks for the video!!! Aloha.

I noticed in the video, you were carrying a "3" fin surfboard. Are there any advantages or differences between using a "3" fin, verses a "4" fin board, regarding performance? Back in the day when I was surfing, all I had was 'one' fin. And from this comment you can tell its been awhile.
well it all depends on the kind of core that you're using. for an EPS core you need to use an (EPOXY) resin!!!!!! i can not stress this enough. PU foam can use epoxy or polyester resin. if you use polyester on EPS then you have ruined you board. it melts the foam!!!! so use EPOXY for EPS mate :)

He is applying the "Hot Coat", it is an extra layer of epoxy witch give the surfboard a nice gloss, sometimes the hot coat will have UV protection, hope this was helpful.

I'm so pissed, why the hell don't they use mask and gloves? It's fiberglass and epoxy resin, it is not marmalade, you would be scared of reading the dangers and risks paper attached to the resin and the fiberglass. I'm working with epoxy and fiberglass since 2016, I work not less than 15.000kg of resin per year and I would be freaking dead if I wouldn't wear any mask.
You are right. Maybe it's because the camera is there. Anyway, they are setting a very bad example. So many artists, sculpturers and shapers have died since the sixties.
