In my case both hot & cold were a trickle. For me the problem was the opening between the two valve stems. After removing both stems I threaded a stiff wire through the "T" connection & further cleaned by spraying CLR into both sides until I saw the CLR go all the way through. Flushed the pipes by turning the water main back on before reassembled & everything is working fine.
This video was a waist of my time.

Absolutely! That's why I put trivia in the title. So people would know it was a trivia puzzle video. I also gave the answer video using the same title with the answer and I'm pretty sure I linked and pinned a link to the answer video in the comments and in the description. My entire channel is about helping people solve problems in the short run and in the long run. Helping give ideas to solve different scenarios from a maintenance mindset.
Spent all morning thinking about this problem. After an hour of turning the water off/on & removing/replacing the stem and poking around for whatever was clogging the opening, I finally opened the hot water stem to compare the openings. Sure enough, the cold side had something lodged in the opening. Having checked the end of the coldwater stem, the screw along with the rubber washer wasn't there...it had come off and got caught in the opening. Not sure how it remained stuck in there considering the water pressure pushing up against it. Couldn't see a thing but I felt the rubber washer...having opened the hot water side helped me pinpoint where the opening was and how big it was. I had someone turn the main on while I watched the opening and to my relief, it shot out. SUCCESS!!! No plumber needed.

tub/shower switching valve is out of position. Remove witch handle and reposition it.

Sediment clogging diverter valve.
Good video this guys tried his best to solve the problem. now its our turn go more further what he did in first step. My idea is We have to use EMF tracer by to trace the water pipe line first by dropping some high voltage cable through megger not from electrical line. then by EMF signal strenght we can get water residing capacity to purticular location of pipe inside the wall

A hole in the pipe line some place or someone got solder inside the pipe that broke loose and jammed at an elbow?

i have the same issue also.i replaced the hot water valve and still no pressure. i checked the pressure without the valve and water shot out very hard. is this the same issue you had?
This one was actually not getting much water pressure even without the valve. If you get pressure without the valve it is most likely a bad diverter valve or a clogged shower head.

I have this problem with a tub. Cold water without any pressure. As with the video, having removed the cold water stem, no pressure. Hot water will flow through the opened cold water stem when turned on.
Care to share the solution to this problem before I call a plumber?

Did you miss the "Trivia" title on the vid? This video was meant as a challenging question not an answer.
