We picked up a couple of street sweeper brushes at an auction. Will be putting the posts in deep because the cows will probably rub hard. Glad to see someone else using the same idea.
It's been long since I've walked the dairy farm. Now it's food plots for wildlife. For a water trough, I cut a 55 gallon plastic food grade barrel in half length wise... laid them side by side and bolted them together like a clam shell. I dug a hole to fit the new invention and placed it just above flush with the ground. This helps keep dirt from being kicked in. The deer and critters seem to like it... we have it within viewing range from the cabin. We also have a mineral lick nearby and they enjoy that to and get much benefit from it I trust. I've forwarded your brush idea to friends with ranches in Iowa and South Dakota... I'm sure they'll love it. thanks again.
i have a small coffee table that i put a ceiling fan brush around the legs for my cats to brush...they purr like an engine...it's their best friend aside of me....( I think)...lol....thanks for sharing friend.....PEACE
Hey I see you have a John Deer out there now! man after my own heart! Just tonight I linked your video "Should A Christian carry a weapon? Luke 22:36-38." to a friend of mine. I think you have a good perspective on protecting yourself especially these days.
I love that John Deere. Runs like a clock. I need To redo should a Christian carry weapon. Pretty bad sound quality, in the editing was bad too. Thanks for the encouragement. It really does mean a lot to us.
That’s great, He seems like a real gentleman. Very happy to have you onboard I hope you enjoy yourself, remember you’re part of the journal. So let us know pros and cons how we can improve and ideas for shows. Very happy to have you happy trails Luke
If you got a flowing artesian well, why not put in a trout pond with raised walls so the herd can have their drink too. This would create your own private/retail fishing hole. Also what about putting in your own power source like windmills or solar panels to supply out buildings (Heat and lighting), machinery(pump etc) and yard lighting with their off grid cheap power.
Hey man this is off topic but I noticed you guys use horses a lot. I have two horses for sale 13 yo and a 10 year old both nice mannered horses ( I have ridden both of them moving cattle) I cannot ride anymore because my dad is aging and I had to buy a 4 wheeler (which made me bitter for a couple months) Was wondering if there was any market for horses or does everyone you know break their own colts? I was figuring if they checked out good with the vet $2500 each I paid $8000 for the one 3 years ago and my sister paid $4000 for her horse a few years ago. strawberry roan and the other one is a bay.
Very cool to see the gold fish made it thru the winter. Great tip with the livestock brush.
Thank you friend. Your tool is going to be engraved. That is why it has not been sent out yet. Sorry for the wait

Thanks for stopping by Joseph. Appreciate the input.
Awesome dude
Love the goldfish. And who doesn't love to have their hair brushed?
They’re kind of entertaining to watch. Small children really like watching them, I would be lying to tell you I don’t though.🤷🏻♂️

Great idea
I am planning on making a scratcher out of street sweeper brush. Can you please tell me how deep you dug the hole for the pole?
I stuck it in the ground about 4 feet, the post total is a little over 8 feet.
Hope it helped.
How do you keep it from spinning?
How did you make the scratching post please
Nice fish tank. Dual purpose.
Put those little fellas in their last fall. They’re doing great and keeping the LGM mosquito larvae down. They really growing.
How do you keep the scratch posts clean?
It just keeps clean.
Happy scratching 😀

Glad to see the gold fish made it. What about the black bottom feeder fish
He didn’t make it. Water was just too cold for him I think.
You have a good memory Thomas. I forgot about it.
Thanks for watching
Do the horses ruin their tails?
No
Where do you find a brush like that

Which part of the country are you from? Seems like there’s abundance of horses for sale.
