This is the content REAL men desire. Another huge thing to keep an eye on when it comes to the tape you use, is to make sure it is the waterproof stuff. super cheap tape lets too much air in. Through the Roof is the ONLY caulking I will use when it comes to something that may come into contact with weather. I especially liked using it when it came to roof repairs on shingle roofs, where you would put a quarter sized dab under loosened shingles to help keep the wind from ripping them off.
Thanks for the tip on saving calk. The prices have really increased on it . On the pickup bed trailers you can never have enough of them, they dont eat or burn gas. I am going to get some red paint on mine now. God Bless and Merry Christmas
@@lelandbrendle8564 $20 in paint, will give $1000 overhaul on your little pick up box trailer. It’s amazing how it changes everything on the ranch. Instead of a rusty old pick up box trailer you have a painted one and it just looks good out there. Like an old barn a painted old barn. You will be really happy once you do it. This is pick up box trailer #4 that I’ve painted in the last month, I have three or four more left to go. They’re all painted in the same color scheme. Let me know how it works out for you. I’m having way too much fun doing this in my spare time. Lol Merry Christmas as well and may the Lord guide and keep you. Thanks for dropping by and leaving a comment .
@BacktotheBasics101 Will do. What brand of tires are the mail man tires you use on your work cars? I drive a lot of miles between farms in a small car to save fuel and miles on my pickups and I need some good tuff tires. Thanks

@ I’ve had a lot of different brands over the years. What I consider a mailman tire for a car is a six ply tire or C load tire which is the same as a six Ply. Light duty pick ups usually use them and so they have pick up tread on them as well great for winter and off-road and gravel, it’s pretty common on a car to get 45,000 miles on a set of them with no flat tires. I don’t have any brands for sale, but if you shop tire rack or Amazon, you will find some. Let me know what you find. I’m always eager to hear of new brands.
@BacktotheBasics101 no, not smarter. I had learned this from a handyman years ago, not my idea. Merry Christmas to you and your family as well. Take care.
Hi, I try to use up the tubes one by one, use them for whatever till they are done. When they dry up on me, I cut the tip back further, them get a glob and spread it out with a putty knife. So, Merry Christmas!

Yup good idea to share. I have been doing that to my open caulk tubes and it makes them last longer.
You are smarter than me. Because I just started doing this probably in the last year or so.
Hope all is well and merry Christmas .
