I spent almost 7 years in Starkville until 1995, finishing my Ph.D. program at MSU. Huh, always on my mind.
Ive lived in Starkville 30 yrs now and I havent seen this himmextremly high crime rate. Westpoint and Columbus are the worst but Starkville has always been pretty quite and calm little town. Its growing too. Weve had alot of growth in the past 5 yrs alone and alot of it comes from Mississippi State University. We have bulldog bash and pride parades which im gay and only attended once which was the first one we ever had. All in all its a very diverse town and I love it. You couldnt pay me to move!
My maternal grandparents were from Starkville.. I only visited once and never went back again....
Starkville looks like it would be a very nice town to live in. Your video captures the good vibe of Starkville.

I agree with this dude if you live in Starkville and don’t go to state then it’s pretty boring. We have a movie theater, but if it’s closed or there are no good movies out, it’s really boring

Chipotle is a horrible 'restaurant'. You can make better Mexican food for a fifth the price at home.

In 30 yrs growing up here i really didnt know we had so much crime. I would challenge that bc Starkville has always been a pretty calm amd quit place. Westpoint and Columbus though were the towns that had the most crime.
