Your hair definitely looks more 4a/4b than 4b/4c, with LOW porosity. Type 4 hair needs more hydration (water) and that's probably why the product didn't feel as though it wasn't moisturizing. I've tried the Knot My Honey Detangler by Honey Baby on my sons 4c hair and it worked so well!! I would recommend trying it to see if helps with detangling and moisturizing.
I LOVEEEE your hair.. I feel like I can relate my hair to yours when trying to see if these products work for me or not .. I've been seeing this brand for awhile but was debating about it, glad I didnt buy it .. great video 💕 new subbie btw
Yesterday i tried the spray on leave in conditioner.. I have 4c hair all around 😂. I did a braid out/twist out (braided my roots and twisted the rest).. and I just took it out and I can honestly say, it’s a good product. My curls look okay and it left my hair with moisture!
Thanks for the review. I've been on the fence on buying for my daughter with her thick 4b-4c hair. Will not be purchasing. What I've started doing is going to research the creator of a product. If their hair doesn't look like my daughter's hair, I'm not buying because I'm going to be disappointed. Two good companies that work for Type 4 hair are Strands of Faith and Luvnaturals. Both of the creators have long, type 4 hair.
I’m 4b and tried the custard and gel about 30 minutes ago - I’m blown awaaaay lol. Bought it for 3c clip-ins only to put on my hair accidentally and my eyes were like OOH, they might be on to something! I typically use Soultanicals brand deep conditioners and can’t believe it’s not butta styling moisturizer. Shampoo my hair likes Maui moisture (Shea butter) shampoo or Cream of Nature moisturizing shampoo.
I haven't tried the Honey Baby Naturals shampoo and conditioner, but I ended up getting the hair mask at Walmart on sale for $5. The mask worked so good for my hair. Had a ton of slip and was very moisturizing. I have the same texture as your hair, maybe 4b/4c combination. I'm sad it didn't work for you😔because this become one of my top 3 hair masks after Hair Mayonnaise and Shea Moisture JBCO mask
I thought it was just me. I recently bought the shampoo and Conditioner for my 11 months old who just transitioned from using Cetaphil. I realized that her hair is dry after using it, never used to have that issue, she's like a 4b but I'm going to continue because I'm in love with the scent. Hopefully it enhances hair growth too
Hi was nice to have honest demonstration...companies have to realize they are making stuff for biracial hair and that ain't cutting it for most of it....a good product feels good as soon as it hits your hair whole conditioning .. Have you tried cara.b naturally....I'm interested.

I think you meant that your hair is low porosity, which is when hair does not retain moisture. And your hair looks 4A, 4B.
Wowwwww after the gel. Let me go and buy some!
The answer is YES. Yes, it does 😩🙏🏾 I’m 4b
My hair loves this was experiencing bad shedding and dryness this product hydrates your hair the hair smoothie

Nice long hair 😍😍😍😍
Shae K Thank you 💙
Your hair is not 4c at all. Its just really dry. try using more moisturizing products to bring out your curls.your probably a 4a honestly.
I love the body butter
good video good review.
mine is 3c and 4a
did you use thier all in one wash and go product?
All I can say is this product sucks. I might as well use Cantu. That’s how bad this stuff was in my hair.
