Imagine the class tree changes if this dude would suggest them to blizz. And I dont mean the class tree changes he already suggested - rather ones from wl dc regarding m+ utility, mobility, etc.
What I don’t understand is why not make us more mobile? Destro is the only spec that doesn’t proc any instant casts. Yeah, we get quicker cast time for soulfire and DRifts that need a massive visual update and tuning. Aff has nightfall and MR instants, Demo has cores, dogs, felguard.
Hey kalamazi what do you think about the shared fate interaction where it like munches the proc or doesn’t reapply or add remaining damage on target with multiple applications? Can you put that on the warlock spreadsheet 🙏
Are you using PS right now just for single target? I was really hoping Vile Taint was going to become a passive and allow PS to spread Agony maybe something like that.
I just want to play destro man. Entire Dragonflight demonology was the only well rounded spec for M+ (i wasn't playing keys high enough for destro to become relevant) and raiding i felt forced to play it in every scenario. I know it's probably going to be the best in TWW but at least it looks like there are options. I just can't look at demo any longer.
Not to nit pick but if you where not doing high enough keys for destro to become relevant then you where also not doing high enough keys to where it actually mattered what you played you should just play whatever you like there wasnt a spec that could not do mid lvl keys even pushing up to the higher ones in season 3 only spec that did not get tittle was affliction but there where still aff locks doing one or two levels lower key then the highest ones
It's not that "I was forced" - i felt forced by how bad and clunky destro and affli felt flow-wise. For the entire expansion demo was the only spec with actual, idk how to say it "groove" to its rotation.
Unfortunately Destro hits like a wet noodle in low keys, that’s what he’s trying to say. Elitist or not, doing bottom tier damage is no fun, so we play Demonology to feel impactful. Destro only does real damage in high level keys where mobs live long enough to ramp.

Can some explain why the F demo has an end talent that ONLY give 4% crit dmg. Who is there right mind is gonna pick that while aff has 30% and shadow priest 40% with mastermind. Why does demo have only a silly 4%
surprised you didn't show the soul harvester shard change for aff in AoE. It strikes me as the place where that would feel best is when you are going into a pack with 3 shards, you have to set up damage by spending shards to seed and vile taint to get dots up, and then you soul rot to go into damage and you immediately have your shards back to blast with. Where its slightly awkward in single target when you would dump a couple raptures to avoid capping, you are very starved for shards in AoE because you have to spend two just to get setup, and getting that refund right at that point is going to feel great.
Tbf the change didn't really "do" anything for that scenario. Previously it was granting two Succulent Souls which made Rapture free so along with the freebie every 30 seconds you came out about the same on the opener zeroing out your shards applying dots.
The change to succulent souls is so boring. I didn't get to try it myself, but low cost hands with extra imps sounds infinitely more fun than a boring damage boost. One actually changes the rotation, and the other isn't noticeable at all
They still have several damage tuning passes to do, so no one knows what launch will look like, plus they usually do balance changes the week of mythic release.

I feel like destro will be that "mediocre" spec. aff gott reworked so it has to be strong so people can play it and demo is demo (best spec for handling any situation - ST, AOE, burst, etc

Soul Harvest changes were really bad for Demo. Feel like Diabolist ist the Golden child who gets all the cool stuff meanwhile SH is the poor stepchild that gets bumped arround. Succulent souls gave us more imps (wich really made it feel like more the small demons build vs big demons Diabolist) and gave us better soul shard regen (Diabolist higher burst vs SH more constant flow)This is gone for a meager 20% dmg for our weakest spell. And on top of that they removed the bad luck protection on Succulent Souls (every 30 sec 1) in a 5 min fight that are arround 20% less SS and thus 20% less Demonic soul and soul anathema dmg. Pushing SH even more in the M+ / Add Bossfight corner. Give SH a mechanic like Diabolis. Every x Succulent souls your Shadowbolt turns into Decimating Bolt that then empowers the 3 next Demobolts or Malefic Rapture. Buff the wicked reaping dmg part (right now its roughly 1-2 % dmg overall)
Each class doesn't have "a dev". They work on these in groups. There is a "a dev" that plays warlock (or so we have heard), but that doesn't mean all of these changes are being done in a vacuum by one person.
Class tree capstones sucks. They are not amazing and "WOW" moments. Its just there. Seriously, Im not sure why we celebrate moments like they giving us 5% more on the capstone shard refund? Like hold on a moment, it's 10 in live. It's been nerfed down to 10 for DF. This used to be 15 for entire bfa/Sl, lol (legion 20) like idk, people have short memory. Point is, it's not cool, we don't gain anything new, we just did run in a full circle.

destro does proc instants but only if atked. Get your main point tho
