It would have been fascinating to have had a fourth car included: the Lotus Eletre R, to see how the fastest and most powerful electric SUV competes on performance, luxury and price (!).
The Ferrari in this company just seems so highly strung and wants ev😢er so much to be a 812 supafast. It appeals to me the most of the 3 and yet it comes across as having missed the highend SUV mark. A mile muncher offering comfort, space, refinement and driving pleasure. This is Ferrari being jacked up, fast and shouty. Admittedly Id have it as its different to the other 2 but Id suggest that the DBX possibly offers the best blend of sports car and SUV waftability.

That said, the best compromise, for me, will be the Aston, the most fun will be the Ferrari, the most luxury and comfort of course will be the Bentley. My personal choice, being older, will be the Bentley, because these cars are about the family.
Would be much more interesting to see a Cayenne Turbo S in comparison to the DBX and Purosangue. The Bentley is a car built for maximum comfort, not for sportiness. But whenever we talk about these level of prices, it's not space nor convenience that matter. We can get much more for 1/3 of the money which the owners of these cars already have.
This is about luxury, exclusivity, performance, driving pleasure and also pleasure of owning something special.
@@cbotten106 and the whole complicated and horrible gearbox was developed specifically so that the car wouldn't need to be taller, cuz a taller car would spoil the handling (their words). Now the whole car is lifted as an SUV, and they still use the same gearbox.
@@miks564 performance-wise it's going to be worst than the other super SUVs guaranteed. It's heavier and the torque vectoring system is unpredictable in the corners. Urus, Cayenne GT, and perhaps the DBX too will certainly walk it. Those cars are also more practical too. The only saving grace this SUV has is the exclusive V12. I would much rather have a proper driving supercar, and a proper family suv. Funny is that combined it's still cheaper than this
@@DonLee1980 That made me laugh. 😊Track times are going to easily prove you wrong.
As I’ve stated, people buying these cars already have more practical ones. No one buys a top luxury SUV because it’s convenient.
Purosangue is such a beautiful car. Such a beautiful sound. A dream.
If that Ferrari did not have a badge on it, I would’ve assumed it was Japanese or Korean
They copied the Toyota Crown Sport. The Crown Sport was revealed before the Purosangue.
@@electrikoptikShut up!! Ferrari copying Toyota?😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@electrikoptiksure
@@fifteen8850 Hurts I know. But the Crown Sport was released first.
@@electrikoptik I guess coincidences don’t exist then
Personally i think the DBX looks much better than the other two !
The Ferrari is magnificent, but lacking things like Satnav are killers.
The Bentley would be my choice.
Who doesn't have Apple Car or Android Auto?
I haven't used the in-car nav in any of my cars in two years Carplay is fine.
Thank you God for coming through for me in my hustle....
I would like to see these compared to the Cayenne Turbo GT.
The dbx is my favorite
I'd have the Aston every time
The Ferrari Purosangue wins because it’s a Ferrari, unlike the Bentley Bentayga S, which shares its platform and engines with other VW Group SUV models, the Aston Martin DBX707 uses a Mercedes AMG sourced engine that Aston puts a bigger turbo on, all are fine SUVs if I had to rank them, the Ferrari Purosangue (1st), Aston Martin DBX and not here Lamborghini Urus (tied for 2nd), the Rolls-Royce Cullinan (next) and the last place the Bentley Bentayga for ultra/exotic SUVs, the Mercedes Maybach is a nicer 2-row GLS (need I say more)
Nothing sounds better than a Ferrari V12.
Silly comparing the above without the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S, best in any class, maintenance reliability and looks. + Porsche quality.
The Urus was a better platform for competition here than the Bentley.
Honest review, very rare these days.
Thank you, I really enjoyed watching this video.
I'll go for the Aston: the outdated infotainment system meqns I'm focusing on driving, not fussing around
Thanks!
Where’s the Volkswagen Urus?
I'd go for Ferrari looks, Bentley tech. Yeah that'll be me sorted(I wish!!)!!
These cars will spend the majority of their life around the centres of London, Dubai and LA and never be driven in any meaningful way.
Bring back the low slung GT sports cars!
I haven't even seen the video yet and the winner is: THE FERRARI!
Coming from a middle class family. I happy with my used 30k cayenne turbo and 20k m6 coupe.
The best suv ingene song ever ever is ferrari and lambo orus ❤
That Toyota Crown Sport looks amazing.
Thank you for this awesome video
Glad you enjoyed!
Beautiful review
Thanks!
Excellent fair and honest review
One must remember the purpose for an SUV, which family transportation.
That said, the best compromise, for me, will be the Aston, the most fun will be the Ferrari, the most luxury and comfort of course will be the Bentley.
My personal choice, being older, will be the Bentley, because these cars are about the family.
The DBX707 is the better looking for sure ! Especially with that color 😍
I like the sinplicity of that Aston Martn
Purosangue is a level above these other super SUVs. It’s a proper V12.
Would be much more interesting to see a Cayenne Turbo S in comparison to the DBX and Purosangue. The Bentley is a car built for maximum comfort, not for sportiness. The "S" is just for ppl to have more PS but not for driving sporty.
Porsches are the best way to compare other sporty cars to the state of the art of the car industry
Not true, the S has the same horsepower as a standard Bentayga.
@@CARmagazineTV I didn't say it doesn't.
I just say that Porsche builds cars that are sporty af and are a good comparison to a Ferrari and an AM 😉
The Bentayga and Rolls Royce Cullinan are rather good to be compared fe
Great video! But I'm a little surprised that a month after uploading it the CAR team hasn't improved the subtitles / captions. They may be very good for auto-generated, but they're far below the standard that I have come to expect from the magazine...
Apologies for the subtitles. Going through them manually for every video is an extremely time intensive task that unfortunately we do not have the resources for.
However, if you rely on the subtitles and are struggling to enjoy a particular video, put a note in the comments and we will do our best to update them within a week. We will do that for this video, too. 👍
I prefer the sound of this Ferrari to the 812. There is a beautifully guttural start at the lower revs, rising to a scream. The range is greater in this compared to the 812.
No contest here. Without doubt the Ferrari is in a different league to Bentley and Aston.
That's a mic thing here. The 812 has that sound too.
