I am a startup in Diaper manufacturing, we have sewed 350 diapers now we found out water is wetting the outside of the Fabric through the leg elastic region ( both sides).😭😭😭 Please suggest what may be the issue ? What type of needles and threads we need to use for Cloth diaper? Please advise I have invested lakhs in this start up

Thank you! The smallest size fit mine as newborns but just know that they are super bulky and will look a little silly :) making the elastic a little shorter will also make the leg holes and waist fit more snugly for little babies

For everyone asking, the website where I bought my fabric and supplies seems to no longer be around. There is a website called Natures Fabrics that sells diaper fabric and supplies but I HAVE NEVER ORDERED FROM THEM, so I cannot comment on the quality of their products.

You dont have to use pul if you are going to use some kind of cover over it. I've made many of the same pattern using old tshirts, but have to use a cover over them. The pul is waterproof so the diapers wont leak.

If you’re any good at making your own patterns from existing clothing, you can totally use their underwear!

I take that back! It was March 23 I ordered the pattern, and it's the 18 of April now😭 did yours take a while to get to you as well?
It should have been a digital pattern that you download amd print at home At least that's what it was when I purchased it.

Do you leave the insert pocket raw edges out do you stitch it somehow? Thank you!
I leave the edges raw because this fabric doesn't fray.

Don’t you need to seal the pocket part somehow? Or will it not tear more?
It depends on the fabric you use. The fabric I use doesn't tear more fray.
What kind of sewing machine is that?
what is the width of the elastic? and how much fabric do you need for the PUL?
The elastic is 1/4inch and this diaper pattern is about 18"x19" after it is cut. So a 20x20 peice of fabric should be good :)
