That "Pig farm out in west" bar by Pete was absolutely fire. It's referencing a scene from the Guy Ritchie film Snatch. The basics is that you should never trust a man with a pig farm because pigs will get rid of bodies without a trace.
Maybe a football reference as well? Arsenal and pig farm in west (west ham)? They are standing in Millwall thats why I have the question.. no idea tho...
after the Gentlemen dropped I started going back and found a ton of Guy Ritchie film references. Are they like friends?
@@bryantellezsalas3498 I seriously doubt it, odds are it's just because Guy Ritchie mostly makes films about crime, and they tend to be both excellent, and set in the UK, so it's just excellent fodder for references in lyrics. Other UK artists have made Guy Ritchie references before too.
Pete and Bas have improved a lot over the years, always been Fire but something hit in 2021 because they levelled up for sure after that Plugged in joint
I think the evolution started from Quick little freestyle, then Lightwork freestyle 2020. but bas really transformed on the old estate and golf

I used to rap back in the late eighties to early nineties. I used to always love going last because I would always shut it down. People might have thought I was trash until I grabbed the mic.
Because of the UK slang, you missed some good bars. Example: Did you hear the bar about Pete having a pig farm? Do you know what it means for a gangster to have a pig farm in the UK? Let's just say that hungry pigs will eat ALL of the evidence!😉👍🏿
The Sicilian mob probably did that quite a bit, it’s not an unknown concept. In fact, I just finished playing a game on Xbox called Adios where you play as a pig farmer trying to get out the mob 😂

I recommend you do Pete & Bas 'Shuffle' too. Plus 'Plugged In W/ Fumez' Every song they do sounds different and you're never bored because of it. After that I recommend 'Mr Worldwide', 'Lightwork Freestyle' and if you're willing to go back to their earlier stuff (where production quality was not as good and they were still trying to find their voice) 'Quick Little Freestyle'. 'Bermondsey' is alright too. 'You Know It's Christmas' is a nice song too. People recommending 'Window Frame Cyphers' are right to do so but they aren't only just Pete & Bas, they have their friends on it too, which based off this reaction you might not be into as much. The same goes for 'Golf' and 'Grandpa', they're not all Pete & Bas. Still good songs as I said because they sound different but might not be for you. Or do them anyway who cares!

Part of the enjoyment we get from watching Pete and Bas is learning a completely different culture. Makes it even more enjoyable. Im still getting used to the accent at moments but it's getting easier
