I really value Rob's insight into bikes. It's cool to have a guy with nearly exactly my body type, and a similar riding style, though a fair bit faster, talk about bikes. Definitely helped when I thought about which bike to get, before I finally settled on a Capra MK3.
@@TheLoamWolf Yeah, definitely the best bike I've ever ridden. Swapped out the aluminium crankbrother wheelset for syntace w33i on hope pro5 hubs, and I haven't found a single thing bothering me since then, I've tried hard to find something.
I have the 27 version. Amazing bike, only negative is the terrible Code brakes! YT get rid of those crappy brakes. Give us a rear coil option as well (in carbon) the Float X2 isn't great either.
Hey I’m planning on buying a bike like this one in the very near future , could you tell me your long term opinion on the bike . Please and thank you ❤
I'm 6ft 2 I'm not sure the chainstay is long enough on this. Should defo have an adjustable rear end. Can't decide on this, sender or Propain rage. Sender probs the best bike but colour schemes atm are poor so rage may be the one I buy
@@florian808 have you ridden a bike with a longer rear end? YT says the Xlong is for 6ft 3 and up haha they are delusional.. My enduro bike atm has adjustable rear end and when it's at 443 it feels a tad short so I'm over the rear end a lot. Want a stable dh bike
I have, I ride a Forbidden Druid and Dreadnaught that has a long chain stay and grows even more in travel. The YT tracks better and plows. It has more pop but it’s welcome on fast whistler trails
@@florian808 Does it feel like a park bike though? I currently have a top spec furious but I want something that feels a bit more race orientated. I'm not a racer but I prefer the tech and also live in whistler so ride the park and Squamish alot.
The new rear end on the TUES as made my decision harder haha. But I think the XL is tad short in reach but XXL is too long haha. Rage might be the winner
@@TheLoamWolf thanks! I appreciate the video. I think im going to have to get the Regular if i end up with a 29er. Its weird how they have different sizing for the 27.5 vs the 29
I wouldnt as it does not suit my size and riding style. But I can see the appeal for super jibby and stylish riders. Flickable, easier to handle in the air. Why not.

YES! It would be nice if you could compare session, gambler, tues, sender and demo. That would be truly awesome.
We’re going to work on getting a dh bike shootout rolling next summer for sure.
wow- some exciting footage, the course, the riding!!!
Thanks for watching! Was a fun time 🤘🏼
That's freaking fast, smooth operators

You guys are flying YT smashing it 🇦🇺
Thank you! YT is doing a great job for sure.

Do y’all have a review on the decoy core 5?
Sooo awesome beautiful bike lovet
It’s a good one! Very fun riding too 🤘🏼
Are guys still planning to do a review of this bike? Really curious to get your take on it.

The suspense is killing me. I just ordered that exact bike and can't wait to get your take on it. Can we get a quick first impression 😅
Can you clarify? What do you mean the suspension is killing you?
@@TheLoamWolf "suspense" as in the anticipation hahaha. Can't wait for your review heheh
Haha! Oh boy... We can read good. 😖
Words are hard 🤣How do you like it so far? It will be my first DH bike. The ski hill near me finally opened for bikes. @@TheLoamWolf
I do like the YT rides, but not a fan of the code brakes, and I am assuming the float X2 isn't going to be an issue like they have been in the past?
Surprised there isnt a mullet option, given that they have 29 and 27
They say that it’s because the 29er is the fastest on track, but to keep your eyes peeled

I ride a X-Long Tues at 6’2” and find it perfectly balanced. Certainly feel more comfortable confident and neutral on the bike

did I miss the part where you said what size you are on?
6’2” / 189cm tester Rob chose the size Long

Do you think I could get away with xlong 6foot tall with 6,6 wing span? Cheers
It’s 505 reach

Wait a minute… but that’s not a ebike tho?..
Nope! We still love acoustic bikes too.
Will anyone buy a 650b downhill bike on 2023?

plastic dh bike.....not going to end well.
Shut up
plastic frames crack with impact, alloy bikes dent.......i will take dents over shattered plastic all day long@@brett__mtb
