- 🇬🇧 At October 22nd, 2023 I was visiting once again the Retro Season Ending at the furniture store Hofmeister in Bietigheim It's one of the biggest classic car meetings in the region. So have much fun to watch some great classic cars.

🇩🇪 Am 22. Oktober 2023 fand wieder der Retro Saisonabschluss beim Möbelhaus Hofmeister in Bietigheim statt. Es ist eines der größten Oldtimertreffen der Region. Also freut euch auf eine Menge klassischer Fahrzeuge. Ich stehe mit dem Veranstalter in keiner Verbindung - ich erstelle diese Videos alle als rein privates Hobby.

Thanks a lot Mike! I wished it is my collection :-D ... of course if I can afford it, hehe. But I guess I could only afford it in the scale from Matchbox & Hot Wheels. Really some wonderful cars. What a great variety of cars on this meeting.

That gorgeous sedan at 14:15 is a true stuff of dreams, I'm a bit confused about it's real identity but would surely have it as my daily drive!! 😍

Not sure which car you mean because at 14:15 there is just the cut scene between the red BMW 3-series coupe (E36) and the red/silver Daimler Mark 2. The Daimler was the luxury version of the Jaguar Mark 2.

Социалистический лагерь очень хорошо представлен на этой встрече. Я также знаю некоторых из них по встрече Ostalgie в Зинсхайме (Sinsheim). В начале сезона месяц назад мне удалось снять социалистические машины немного лучше. Скоро он появится в сети.

At 14.55 your correct its not an S type Jag they were more slender looking and to me not as nice as this model. If it had been the Jaguar it would have been known as the Mk2 Jag. This car is the Daimler Mk2 version with a 2.5 V8. The Daimler was the more luxurious of the two better quality leather etc. The Mk2 Identified by the wide bumpers. The Mk2 was revised in 1967 with slimmer bumpers and was called the 240 and 340 and the Daimler V8 250. They were known as the getaway cars as they were known for being used for Bank Robberies. They featured in lots of films and TV for this reason as well. The Mk2 is a lovely design and real quality car with all the woodwork etc.
I've seen a couple of Wartburg Trans pickups but they're also quite rare over here. Actually a lot of these Wartburgs disappeared. While in the late 90s I've seen a run about these cars from us Western Germans when the Eastern Germans wanted to get rid of them.
Oh well, regarding the S-Type. I was only remembering the car from the 90s to be called S-Type and didn't know the name was used before. It was just surprisingly when checking the car offers and one of these old ones appeared to the newer S-Types. Hehe, interesting information about the bank robberies. I heard the Ford Transit was also used for it quite a lot in the old days.
