You’re never on your own. Reach out - there are a lot of people who appreciate you and the things you do. Total admiration for the care, love and support for Hazel. Keep going - there’s no pressure. Take care of you too!
Hi Graham great to see you back at Lakeside, I know the majority of your subscribers are here for the long haul, and understand you have to put Hazel as number one priority, so when you can share Lakeside with us thats great. Stay safe my friend and best wishes to Hazel for continuing improvements to her health.
So glad to hear of Hazel's improvement, long may it continue, it must have been incredibly difficult for you both of you. Great that you have made it back to the layout and wonderful to see you back
Brilliant to see you again Graham! Glad that things are improving, even if it's little by little its better than nothing at all. That kit car looks like a fun project , will be looking forward to seeing how it progresses. Lakeside looks as grand as ever! All the best mate, Alex
Good to see you back my friend. You really have been missed! As LJ stated, take all the time you need. We will all be here for you and Hazel 🙏 We won't go anywhere👍. Take care and God Bless. Iain
Graham.............good to see you back. I enjoy watching the progress that you have made on Lakeside over the last few years. We all must remember that this is just a hobby and family comes first, always. The obvious care that you have shown toward your wife is testament to that. So glad that she is doing better. As a fellow hobbyist who not only loves trains, but cars as well, I commend you for taking on one last project. I am about eight months ahead of you in age, but you are only as old as you feel. Hopefully you will keep us updated on not only Lakeside, but devote a few minutes each episode with photo updates on the car as well. I have three in my stable and it helps to keep your mind and body occupied in these twilight years. Keep your chin up and know that this community is there for you. Welcome back...... from the other side of the pond.
Hi Graham. its not been the same without you my friend. i am pleased your wife is on the way to a full recovery. family always come first. Its great to have you back. best wishes to you and Hazel.....stay safe Tony
So glad to see you back Graham! I have often thought about you over recent months and your absence from your channel. So glad to hear that your wife is making some good solid progress, and I'm sure your care is greatly appreciated. I too, have suffered from depression over the years and know a little of its debilitating capacity. I find the creative aspect of my model railway layout to be really beneficial in my mental well being and self care. Thank you for your generous spirit, your kindness to your wife, your willingness to share in this forum. Take care, from Stephen, Perth, Western Australia.
So glad to have you back and your wife is well. Wonderful to see the layout back up and running with only a few minor repairs! Best of luck with the kit car too! Will eagerly be watching that.
So good to see you back, heart felt hopes for you and your loved ones. I'm 73 in October so I feel a deep connection with all you shared. Sincere best wishes of all good things, thank you so much for all you do, very special and appreciated. Rodge David kidderminster uk 🇬🇧❤
Glad your back and really hope your wife gets better. What an incredible layout and the attention to detail is exceptional. The cyclists are a masterpiece. Well done and a joy to watch. Tim
Great to see you're back Graham and read Hazel is improving. The model railway is your safety valve for all that life throws at you, keep doing it. As for the kit car, you are an inspiration to us all that new adventures are out there no matter what age one is. I retired in June this year, and life has been so busy (no daytime TV for me, thank goodness), the train set is packed away as I prepare to move house and set up a new home with my partner of long standing, with marriage in the not too distant future. She understands my interest in MR's - a true gem. It's not been all plain sailing as we negotiate life's roller coaster of emotions, but we get through it. Best wishes to you and your wife, keep the videos coming.
Well done for weathering the storm! I can see it has taken its toll on you too. Keep calm and carry on as they say. Glad to see you've still got enthusiasm for the layout and the kit car - it's what keeps you going in life. Your bday is the day after mine incidentally so happy birthday for a week on Saturday 👍
Hi Graham, It's so wonderful to hear that both you and your wife have turned a corner and are feeling more positive now. I'm glad that she is feeling better now. It's been great to see your wonderful layout up and running again and looking as wonderful as ever. I'm liking the look of your kit car project. The Gentry certainly is a handsome looking car. I'm looking in the mirror with my Humbrol colour chart trying to decide which shade of green I've turned with envy! Seriously though, best of luck 🍀 with your project and best wishes to you both for the future.
Good afternoon Graham..as all the others your fans I'm glad to see You back..but much more glad to hear about Hazel's health Is getting better.Gods blesses You and Your wife Hazel..greetings from Czech Republic
Great to see your return, and the fact that Hazel is improving,is no doubt down to your care, and let's all hope she continues to get better.Lovely to see all the trains, and little cameos running.
Hi Graham. Great to see you back on the tube that is awesome to me.I really missed you and your videos and your calming composure in the build. Great to hear that Hassel is on mend .Just one day at a time and see how it pans out. The kit car will be a great build to help you a long the way. So just stay well Graham and have fun on the build. Allan.
Its sooooo lovely to see you and your amazing layout again. I cant even begin to imagine what the past few months has been like for you both, but you will return stronger. Im really pleased to hear Hazel is improving, a huge relief, Im sure. The kit car sounds fun… Take care my friend and will catch you soon.
Great to hear you again and of course sincerest wishes to your wife too, a truly awful situation to have to cope with. I was completely amazed by the number of supportive and very personal and frank comments to your posting, not amazed that you should receive them of course, but amazed how deeply people wanted to express their wishes. Says a heck of a lot about you and what high regard you are held in by so many people. I found it most endearing. All the best Sir.
Kind regards and best wishes to you and your family from Perth Western Australia. So good to see you back and hear your news. Take care my friend. I am also a big fan of Triumph cars (having spent many years at a Triumph Dealer) Hope we can also see the progress of the build. Wishing you and your wife good health in the future. John Given.
Graham let me add my words of concern for all you have gone through. To have this occur during the Covid 19 pandemic was a double whammy.Glad things are slowly improving and wish the very best for you and Hazel. Will be thinking of you both here in the colonies.Stay safe I am definitely looking forward to more Lakeside! Cheers
A beloved welcome back, sir. You have Joyce and my warmest wishes and deepest well-wishes to Hazel (let's merely say, we can relate to some of what you describe). It is always a pleasure to see Lakeside as you can, and we will also look forward to car kit build. The new stock looks nice. I especially loved your LondonMidland set (class 350, I think). Take care and best regards!
Such a heart warm felt video, what a Great man you are, God Bless You, just take care, it’s so good to see you back and your railway still looks fantastic. Hazel and you take care.
Hi Graham, wonderful to see you back. As I watched you talk about the troubles that have befallen you both, which could not have come at a worst time, especially with this nasty virus that has over taken the whole world, I am not ashamed to admit there was a tear in my eye when you spoke about Hazel. I could hear it in your voice and see it in your eyes the love you have for your wife, so just let me say I hope each day going forward gets better and better. Great to see the trains running at Lakeside again. Look forward to seeing back on your channel again soon. Best Regards Greg from Australia
Hi Graham - a belated but much felt - glad you and Hazel are ok! It's a credit to your craftsmanship that Lakeside is back up and running so quickly. Stay safe.
Glad to have you back Graham, i thought that you had given up youtube I'm not on Facebook so it's only now I understand what you and your wife are going through. i wish her the best in a speedy recovery, god bless you both.
Great to see you back in what ever capacity you are, great to hear the missus is on the mend, all of us have our paths to trek some more difficult than others always remember you are not on your own there is a lot of people out here rooting for you and Hazel. Take care both of you Regards David

Great to have you back Graham and so pleased to hear that Hazel is improving and I wish her a strong recovery. Your Kit Car project is exciting and the pics of the car look magnificent. I had no idea of your background in Cars. i love Classic cars and I look forward to seeing a few videos on this project. It was good to see your Lakeside layout back on YT again. I always enjoy your Layout videos thanks and regards Paul
Happy Birthday mate and best wishes to you and your wife. You have a lovely railway and I hope you get a lot of joy out of the car. Take care, from Sydney.
Cheers Graham, Lovely to see you back. As I have said in the past, I have shared LAKESIDE episodes with the members of my local RxR Club. NVR/WAS (Never/Was Rail). And when you took a necessary pause I never realized how much my fellow Gandy Dancers enjoyed you. About a month or two ago some of the guys where up in arms believing that I was not downloading you from our club's Library. They may have wanted to tar and feather me and ride my out of the club on a rail. But this Friday night I can prove my case. On the upside a contingent of Gandy Dancers elected me as the current leader (a.k.a. the Railroad Baron) for the next four and a half years. During our business meeting on Wednesday August 18th I am going to convince our Board to allocate monthly grant moneys to the Anxiety and Depression Association of America in Hazel's name. She is much loved on both side of the Pond. Keep up with your many needs first. I know I can outrun the tar and feather Mob. ~Jim
Welcome back Graham. On a cold wintry morning in New Zealand seeing you, Lakeside and hearing that Hazel is improving brought a welcome ray of sunshine to the day.
Hi Graham, so glad to see you back. Watching the first part of your video was quite difficult and my heart goes out to you and Hazel. I, along with all your other subscribers pray that Hazel's recovery continues, maybe to the point where she is 'nagging' you to get the kit car finished so that you both can go out on your maiden trip. What a project!!!!!! Enjoyed the running session and you must have worked hard to get the trains running so smooth. All the best to you both.
Good to hear you are both making it out the other side of things and I wish you both well on your recovery. Nice to see you are back and have a nice line up of exciting and enjoyable things to do - you can't do much more than that plus with family and friends support. All the best Stephen.
Good to see your face again Graham - I've been missing your mug! ;-) Very happy to hear your wife is on the mend again and looking oh so forward to seeing new adventures with Lakeside as well as your new kit car! (I own an old '77 Silver Shadow which needs a new rear fuel pump/brake refurbishment and some general tlc...) Cheers, Joachim
Dear Graham, it is so good to see you and hear your news. Lakeside looks wonderful as always and your car project sounds exciting but the best news is that Hazel is improving. She must remain your No.1 priority as I'm sure she will. She is blessed to have you at her side. I have met many wonderful people through RUclips and it gives me immense pleasure to know that you have Rob as your special confidant, he is a wonderful man. For us, it is wonderful to hear from you when it suits you and you are able to bring us into the picture. Wishing you and Hazel all the very best. Kind regards, David.
So good to see you are back; I have missed watching your progress on Lakeside. I am so pleased that Hazel is making progress and I am sure a lot of your future time will be devoted to giving Hazel priority, as you should. Good luck with your Gentry. I used to own a Triumph herald and my father owned a Vitesse with that wonderful 6 cylinder engine. Both would turn on a sixpence. I look forward to watching future videos of progress on Lakeside, when you are able to produce them. My very best wishes to you and Hazel for the future. Jason.
Lovely to see you back, Graham, and to share the news that life may be returning to normal - whatever that may be these days. All the best to you both and thanks for what you bring into my life through Lakeside. Kevin (NZ).
I came across your channel for the first time today - happy birthday! The layout that you have created looks fantastic. I hope that Hazel continues to improve and you can continue with the layout and your new car.
First off Graham, all of the absolute very BEST to Hazel in her continuing recovery as she'll pull through with flying colours it's my firm belief. A most hearty WELCOME BACK to you from Orlando, Florida! Wishing you early a wonderful Happy Birthday with all of the best returns my fellow Leo (my "born day" is next Wednesday the 18th). The layout is gorgeous as usual and I most enjoyed seeing the eight car Class 350 (my favourite after the London Underground S-Stock) running. All of the very best to both you and Hazel Graham, your admirers like myself are 100% behind you in support of you both. Be well and be safe.
Glad to see you back Graham and even happier to hear Hazel is on the mend even though you both may still have a bit of a roller coast ride but hoping the bumps will continue to level out soon :) Cheers from down under
I'm sure we all wish you both well and things get better. Also great to see you back, I watch yourself and a couple of others and it gives me new energy to continue with my layout, thank you!
Great to see you back Graham ,lots of love to Hazelf s know a bit of what you are going through having been there myself ,its good to have friends ,welcome back my friend !
Hi ya Graham. Nice to see you again. Lakeside doesn’t seem too worse for the wear. Your “ retail therapy “ has reaped some beautiful pieces. I look forward to your kit car. I hope you will be doing a video series on the build. In the late 60s my father and myself had British sports cars. He, a 59 Triumph TR-3. And I had a 59 Austin Healey 106. We had a lot of fun with those. So, I for one, would be very interested. So spring and summer, kit car build. Fall and winter, Lakeside. Sounds great. I’m happy to hear that Hazel is recovering. Being a 24/7 caregiver for my elderly parents at the end of their lives, I can appreciate the strain a caregiver can go through. And the realization that one needs to seek help at times. It’s hard taking it all upon yourself. So make sure you too, are looked after. Great to see you and Lakeside again. Bye for now.
Glad to see you're back. Sorry to hear about your on-going problems, but I am glad to hear that your wife is improving! Hopefully things will continue to improve and we can continue to enjoy watching you enjoy your hobby.
Great to have you back again Graham. All the best to you and Hazel. Hope everything keeps going up for you both. I am only starting to get back to Hawthorn Valley as the last few months have been slow progress. I fractured my right shoulder back in February. Took about 8 - 10 weeks to heal properly, only now getting full use of it, still gets sore, but it's better than it was. Covid lockdowns haven't helped. Grrrrrrr. Won't go into my opinions on that here, except to say we are in lockdown 6.0 at the moment supposed to be for 7days. That was 2 weeks ago but our State Premier decided last Thursday that now it will be until 2 September, which makes things awkward as my son is/was being married on 11 September. He was here today and they both thought of postponing it to early next year. Bought some more locos from ebay. 3 of them I have stripped the paint back. (2 of them were previously hand painted - a kindergarten kid would have painted them better than what they were). I've painted them in my personal colour scheme -see my avatar for the colours. I have another video in the works so hope to have that up in the couple of weeks, all things being equal. Well I think I've rambled on long enough. I don't have a personal Facebook account so haven't been able to follow your progress but I might see if the other half will let me use hers. Once again nice to see you back and hope the remainder of the year really goes well for both Hazel and yourself. .... Ian
I know only too well how depression and mental health issues can take a massive toll on a whole family, so my thoughts are with you both and I wish you good health from now on. And glad to see your lovely railway again, it's a great achievement!
That was a great update Graham, your railway is one of the best out there and not even finished. Look forward to seeing you getting back to what you do best. Take care, best wishes to you and your family. Brian @ The Angels.
Hazel and you have certainly been through it . I hope and trust the worse is now behind you . Needless to say I wish you both all the best . Nice to see the layout running again . Impressive running after all these months . I’ve been missing my Lakeside Fix
Nice to have you back. I'm sorry about Hazel, I know exactly what shes going through regarding depression and anxiety. Its bloody awful Its not easy but with professional help, you'll both find it easier. Well done to Rob for helping too. A good friend is massive. To you, boy lad, you've certainly set yourself some big projects. The layouts busy enough but to build a car too. Good luck with them fine sir. When you've built the car, we'll all stand by your house and expect a spin round the block mind. Most of all, welcome back and I hope Hazel continues to feel better.
My heart goes iou to you Graham. At least you appear to be OK. Afraid due to my failing health my modelling days are all but over now. Driving and going out are but a thing of the past. Great to see you back on layout and I certainly look forward to the car build. Keep going mate, you'll get there and regards to Hazel.
So good to have you back, Graham. I hope that Hazel continues to improve, I will add her to my prayer list of friends and family who are suffering from various illnesses.

Happy Birthday mate and best wishes to you and your wife. You have a lovely railway and I hope you get a lot of joy out of the car. Take care, from Sydney.
Cheers Graham,
Lovely to see you back.
Great to have you back Graham, I hope that Hazel' s health carries on improving.
Very nice. Glad to see you back! Hope everything continues in a positive direction. Love that car. Let's see how it goes on occasionally!
Good to see your face again Graham - I've been missing your mug! ;-) Very happy to hear your wife is on the mend again and looking oh so forward to seeing new adventures with Lakeside as well as your new kit car! (I own an old '77 Silver Shadow which needs a new rear fuel pump/brake refurbishment and some general tlc...) Cheers, Joachim
love to you both. Fantastic to see you back looking forward to you re taking up the reins again all the very best Graham
Great to see you again Graham, onwards and upwards 👍.
Best wishes Graham to you and Hazel. God Bless you both! Bob from Erie, Pa USA!
Great to see you back. Good to hear that Hazels health is improving and long may that continue. Thank you for sharing your wonderful layout. Take care
Jason.
Lovely to see you back,
Graham, and to share the news that life may be returning to normal - whatever that may be these days. All the best to you both and thanks for what you bring into my life through Lakeside. Kevin (NZ).
A very big welcome back, looking forward to see your progress in both your future projects
I came across your channel for the first time today - happy birthday! The layout that you have created looks fantastic. I hope that Hazel continues to improve and you can continue with the layout and your new car.
Graham, So glad to see you back, for all that that means! Regards Stephen.
Glad to see you back Graham and even happier to hear Hazel is on the mend even though you both may still have a bit of a roller coast ride but hoping the bumps will continue to level out soon :)
Cheers from down under
I'm sure we all wish you both well and things get better. Also great to see you back, I watch yourself and a couple of others and it gives me new energy to continue with my layout, thank you!
Very glad to see you are back and that Hazel's health is improving. All the best to you both.
Nice to see you back, and all the best to you and Hazel. From NZ
Hi Graham, Glad to see Lakeside up and running. All the best to your wife and yourself and the rest of the family.
