Totallly agree. On top of that we came up with “BET” bc we literally went against the whole world and the NCAA. Suckeyes had to follow that lead with their lame “against the world” motto when it was their own psycho fans asking for Ryan Day’s job and threatening his family. Such a classless fan base.
I disagree with the “rumors” that games and championships aren’t at risk. The language in Michigan’s response makes it clear, they committed 6 level I violations and several level II in a repeat offender status, all of which happened over a three year period. Michigan called it a “gross overreach”. It’s in Michigan’s best interest to not drag this out, unless they are at risk of some serious punishments. Moore is no Harbaugh and the NCAA findings are enough to fire him with cause, which would void his contract. No, Michigan didn’t like the settlement offer because it’s pretty serious.
It took the ncaa 3 years to punish Tennessee… it’s called a detailed investigation… just because it’s been a year doesn’t mean it goes away 😂 Ohio state got bowl banned for tattoos something that doesn’t affect the game… Michigan did something that does affect the outcome of games… they should get the hammer
The players committed the infraction in that case, which is why the players were punished. In this case the players did not commit anything as well as the NCAA has not presented definitive proof of wrongdoing. Tennessee was accused of committing recruiting violations such as flying recruits in private jets, which has much more to do with outcomes of games and programs when you cheat to get elite talent at your school and even they did not get your hypothetical hammer
@@bloomer5844wdym the players committed an infraction with OSU. They said tressell had a lack of institutional control and banned him for 10 years and banned OSU from postseason play
Case moved at light speed by NCAA standards. Surprising that college football fans may feel six level-1 violations are just a nothing-burger. This case will come to fruition no later than July and the punishments will be severe by today's standards, regardless of UM's puff-piece they "leaked" to Dellinger. UM will certainly appeal, after dragging their feet three times during the investigation which has caused the delays. Get used to cases against UM... there's also an NOA forthcoming for the gambling cookies found on hard drives of the staff football computers, as well as a separate NOA for possession of hacked digital files of opponent's recorded practices circulated amongst staff and players. This isn't an OSU thing, this is a college football thing. OSU literally has nothing to do with this investigation or the NOA, though I'm sure everyone in Columbus and BIG10 are more interested in this than the folks in the south or on the west coast.
JD is off here. Micheatgan has not been punished. Wins of 3 years must be vacated and there needs to be post-season ban for at least 3 years. This has nothing to do with Ohio State winning a natty.

They haven’t been punished at all yet. What are you talking about? 11 violations, 6 of them are level 1. Programs have had full seasons vacated, scholarships slashed, and multiyear post season bans for soooo much less.

They'll be punished enough once it causes regret and unequivocally deters this from happening again in the future. That's not my idea of justice.
