      Not questioning your judgement, but what is outdated about this information? Is there some modern techniques that supersede this information? Just curious.

      @@sheabaucom8934 New school coaches care more about alignment when the shot is released, the timing of your shot and finding a fluid motion for your body type. A lot of the best shooters break a lot of the rules in this video. e.g. Dame Lillard shoots with his guide had at the front of the ball. Klay Thompson and Curry both palm the ball until late in their release. T thumbs is irrelevant. Kerr shot without a bent wrist. So it's more about focusing on things that matter versus having a picture perfect shot.
