This music on backround was the first track what I ever heard when my schoolmate introduced Amiga 500 for me. I was amazed! Still this is one of the best tracks ever!
The rotozoom effect (probably the first one !) was truly godlike at this time ! The Amiga 500 was a killing machine, yet understimate ! ONLY AMIGA MAKES IT POSSIBLE !
The thought of trying to rotate and zoom on a PC with 0.5mb memory and a 7.14 mhz CPU while playing any backgroud sounds... "zomg teh horror..." This demo and Spaceball's State of the art + 9 Fingers still owns. The music in Phenomena's Enigma is pretty good too.
Cheers for the track title, I never knew that. And it's led me to find 4 remixes of it over at AmigaRemix dot com, which are worth a look for some different takes on one of my favourite Amiga tunes. Thanks again Otheym :)
@FatAgnes All Amigas had 4-channel 8-bit sound, from the start until the A1200/4000. With musicians like this though, one could wonder why you'd ever need more :)
As I recall this ran on the so called SOS - Sanity Operating System. Made it fun to rip the tunes out of it (since it used its own disk format). As I recall the way I did it was soft reboot the machine after each song was loaded and dump the memory.
This mod tune was also used in a 3d doom like race game demo where you could also jump around...does anyone remember the name of that game demo?... its in my head like for ever!
Yeah, first demo I've had seen on my Amiga 600, such a great, great memories. Where can I find music from this demo, especially from the second part? Preferably in mp3, acc or smth like that, not in .mod format as I have no possibility to play it back on Amiga :(
This production is immortal. Not disrespect to Bit Arts' second song (very good), but Jester's "Stardust Memories" is the best scenemusic EVER. Bar none. Jester and Sanity FOREVER!
"Stardust Memories" by Jester/Sanity. One of the best Amiga tunes ever made...

the music is a masterpiece... and so is the whole demo =)
Paula, actually. And the channels are mono and mixed together to form stereo sound. Two left channels and two right.
Incredible. A true masterpiece.

Hummmm Jester's "Stardust memories" is one of the fucking best tunes in all the time :)
I remember this event, kewl!
I remember running this demo on my A500..
Today I don't think I can imitate many of these effects in Motion running on my MacBook Pro!
O_O.... OMFG Incredible!
Agree, so the max sample rate on any amiga unless amiga 1000, 500 and 2000 models, is higher than 28 khz. That was what I meant :)

"Zoom and rotate at the same time."
If you want to seek demos' soundtracks, check Nectarine Radio's website.. you put the name of the demo and you search in "Production" Gl ;)
@Testaware I remember the demo with the red white squared balls
Erittäin Hyvää.
