There is no allow of mixing of oxygenated and deoxygenated blood because it allows high efficient supply of oxygenated blood to all parts of the body especially in warm blooded animals because they required energy to maintain their body temperature.

The bodies of mammals and birds have a constant temperature. A lot of energy is required to keep the temperature constant. A lot of oxygen is needed to perform cellular respiration through which energy is produced. So it is necessary to have separation of oxygenated and deoxygenated blood and therefore efficient supply of blood.

If birds or mammals blood mixed in there heart then they will not maintain there temprature, they not getting more energy because mixed blood doesn't transport the Oxygen properly in the Cells of our body.

during translocation , the water in xylem moves inside phloem...but why doesn't the sucrose in phloem not moves inside xylem ?
pressure gradient. osmosis works like that. the increased sucrose in the phloem causes the water potential to decrease and thus allow water to come inside.
