Picked out a UT10X in the spring, have just around 900km on it now, no issues so far. Only quirks I've noticed is the in-cab heat, and the mentioned annoying beeper alarm.
Can't wait for the bumper upgrade and other accessories.
Pricd was around the $24k Can., you'd be looking at roughly $32-34k Can. for a similarly outfitted Ranger/Defender/etc...
So far, very impressed!
yeah it sounded like somebody backing up one of those go go carts 🛒 at Walmart
I’m impressed with your review. Long term durability and dependability will be my next interest.
aa well as who will service and how available parts will be it too.
Good review thanks we all have lots of questions on this new product
We live in Tasmania. Our local dealer is a Suzuki and Segway dealer. We looked at lots of options and decided on the 10E. You cannot drive these anywhere except private property except under special circumstances in Taz so we did not need the Maps or any of the functions of the middle screen. It has a really useful storage box in its place. It comes with a 3500lb winch but also bought the front and rear screen plus the front tool box, a good place to keep fencing tools. We are planning on going through the many hoops the government have so we can drive down a dirt road to the neighbours farm 3km away 🤬. We have always used quads in the past and I was surprised at how fast this machine is. So much easier just throwing hay, feed, wood, etc in rear tray. It feels like fun but also feels safe. Support from dealer has been great as well
Great episode thx
i went to look at a used can am today and the dealer sells these machines , He was nice to let me try it out ill tell you thing has got power for a utility vehicle .Rides great ,smooth and peppy.Has a good warranty too .The guy said there is options too if you want a closed cab . Tha atv s look nice too.The center back part comes out and you can turn it around to make your arm rest .
After 7 months segway has made a believer out of me. I got the basic one and built around it
I am impressed myself
Absolutely recommend
How's the engine braking on downhills?
@15:57.....that was spooky the way that door shut itself. Must be close to Halloween. 👻
One has caught fire already. Looks like this Segway hasn't had the shielding upgrade (turkey pans everywhere).
Got to say, Segway is really impressing me with what they are doing! Hope to get a glimpse of both this and the Villain in person here in the states soon!
We'll have more about this vehicle soon!
Hey, Appalachian, did you ever get your Yamaha Wolverine running? I haven't tuned in for a while.
Love the reviews guys. Ya won’t see me trading in my Kawasaki Teryx for a Segway but the reviews are sweet!!! haha
Thank you!! 😁
Looks good.
Segway definitely have alot of very cool features thats forsure ! Id really like to test some of there sxs's and atvs on our rides myself. We do have a couple Segway atvs that do ride with regularly and they have surprised me so far .
I have one and it’s a blast. Just need more accessories from suppliers.
Distance to empty is a nice feature, however I believe most atvs and SXSs are designed to achieve 100 miles or 165km per tank. After each fill up I reset the trip odometer so I have good idea when I need to refuel.
Really nice car
Been waiting to see a top publication get their hands on one of these. Looks like there's another serious OEM on the market. Is grayden fell.
Can you please make a video of the Massimo WARRIOR 1000 MXD?
Hey. I've had Fogelman for two weeks now and I'm having a problem with the Viator. Have you had a problem with the variator once you leave the gas . He quickly gets out of gear ?
I wish they shipped to the US with turn signals installed dealer says they can't ship them to the US with them and I can't find anything online on it if anybody has a link to harness or how to get them operational that'd be great
Will the head unit blue tooth to a speaker?
Any interior cab heat issues ?
I absolutely love our Fugleman! Does anyone else agree that the gas pedal is SOOO touchy, or could something be wrong with it?
I like the Segway offerings and was close to getting a Snarler until I heard about their dealer network and the fact that the manufacturer doesn’t really support them very well. It’s the one reason I’m looking at Polaris as I don’t want a vehicle that goes unsupported with no parts 4-5 yrs later. Can you guys comment on their dealer network?
Don't know the actual strength of the Segway dealer network, but you make a great point about parts availability. Do your homework and make sure there's a dealership close by in case you need it.
Confirm poor dealer support / poor dealer knowledge here in Suburb of St. Louis. Mo. USA. Bought 2 - now one with 1850 miles in 4.5 months has had the Stator go out and one of CV Boots rip open. should at least be under warranty.
Can yall make a video of the 2023 can am outlander xmr 850?
I think we're getting an XMR really soon. Stay tuned!!
Does this one have the Turkey Pan heat shield modification to keep from catching on fire? It's unbelievable at this price point your side-by-side would have a glowing red hot head pipe, these things are junk.
Dte is nice for a hey, think about getting gas. Especially when most fuel guages are not great.
What's the price?
Any date on hybrid availability?
Going through the woods silently but with a engine for when the battery goes low is very interesting.
I was intrigued until he started talking about the heat. Had a first gen. Commander that was uncomfortably hot when outside temps were over about 75 degrees and all I had was a half windshield. He is wearing a jacket and said he had to take the windshield off because he was hot… To me that says it’s going to be terrible in hot weather. IE the summer when you want to ride it…
It gets hot because of a design flaw. The head pipe glows red hot, some owners have already had units catch fire. For some reason this guy doesn't touch on this well known problem with this type of Segway. There is a patch from the manufacturer, lots of metal shields.
@@MiddlePark yep. Just like the can am curse that affected the first gen. Commanders and Mavericks. No fires that I know of, but put a big twin under the thin plastic of the center console was not the best idea…
@@TheMidwestPatriot It's hard to understand how these things can make it to production with such design flaws. I don't see any of these things holding up well to father time.
@@MiddlePark the '23 models are fine.
@@adamneill9237 I'll believe it in a few years.
I understand the reasoning behind the backup beeper, there are companies on the private sector that like to slap them on equipment for safety reasons, but ut's just....weird to see a recreational vehicle equipped with it. And I am not a big fan of the taillight housing to be honest, it looks a bit mid-2000's with the "Euro" look.
I find the back up beeper pretty annoying on this unit. It also does a super loud beep if you don't apply the parking brake too.
@@dirttraxtv This is one of those moments where a noble safety feature becomes a burden. I wonder if the speaker can be easily accessible to have it unplugged, and hopefully it wouldn't trigger any warnings on the gauge cluster.
@@lucasalamo7888 Stab the speaker with a screwdriver.
Polaris in norway has turn signal as standard
Oh my gawd that backup beeper would have to go lol
Right?!
It is very annoying!
As well as the beeper if you get out without setting the parking break.
Well definitely be looking into a way to shut it up on mine.
@2:50 You should be doing your subscribers a solid and explaining why it's getting so hot inside of the cab.
Ok
@@dirttraxtv Seriously, this segway is a fire hazard. And the problem is known by segway, there is a turkey pan heat shield kit for these things that traps rocks behind them.
It doesn't help that the head pipe is about 6" from your ass crack.
@11:35 The display being so bright is actually annoying, hopefully it dimms properly unlike my uforce1000 screen that doesn't. In fact the display screen gets brighter when the headlights are turned on in the U force, even after setting the brightness to minimum. @11:41 If a Segway is like Tesla, does that mean Tesla is going to be making gas powered Teslas soon?
...they better do- energy is gettin short in the near future- or already was?? (dont drive on weekends?!)😆
The display is one of my other complaints.
The jumbotron in the middle of the dash is dimable, but the gauge cluster is not. Fairly annoying while riding at night.
The machine don’t look bad but it has a silly name
Agreed.
They look like they might be a good machine but they only have a few dealers in Canada and have lost at least 3 that they had. That is the biggest downside
They are
Seems like there taking plays from cf motos book by trying to add vallue and accessories the big names don't. Not a bad idea as cf moto has been doing very well
Too high 82" and too wide... 85" really?... we have trail entries here that wont allow that wide 72" is about the max.
Fugleman is NOT a german word!
The only german word that sounds a bit like it is "Flügelmann" and that means nothing else than wingman!
So the name of this rig is chinese marketing stubitidy.
Sad but true and of course not the first time something like this happens.
ok
I just wanted to write exactly the same. 😁
1st they look so cheap 2nd interesting to see all that sh.t digitalgauges fail in some years- and then? remembers me on the first s10 digital desasters displays....😆
Having the word Fugleman in large letters down the side is the worst part about this machine
😆
Chyna.......
