The car looks heavy, i know you dont like how its a bit too grippy but i appreciate how you can see and feel the effects of the weight of the car, tires loading and unloading. I think thats why forza horizon always felt too arcadey was how light every car felt.

Unfortunately indie game companies would struggle with the task of making such a game and all the possibly AAA companies could possibly do this would probably end up disappointing us with an overpriced, unfinished and broken thing they call a game.
But we can always dream.

I think they’ve nailed the interfaces it’s what every modern racing game is missing AURA ,pardon the cringe ,it seems like it’s missing a lot tbf but if it doesn’t take it’self to seriously be alright for a week what more can u ask for nowadays

I downloaded the demo and was underwhelmed. They have a lot of work to do in terms of car physics. The environment feels empty and dead. This game feels "old". As of right now its a 4/10.

The physics, at least with the stock cars, are just bad. No sense of weight or momentum, no way to swing the rear out, when you drift you grip up straight away.

Gutted at the physics. The way every open world racing game aside from horizon instantly grips you up as soon as you start drifting infuriates me. Let the car slide ffs, stop treating the car like it needs to be Dante or bayonetta, like it has to respond straight away to everything you do. Cars aren’t like that, they have mass - the joy comes from learning to manage all that weight and momentum.

Horizon 6 should stick with their current physics instead of using motorsport but they're indeed switching it

@@_blankface I don't think they're changing the physics. Whoever told you that is wrong.
They're changing the graphics engine for FH6; they'll be using the one from Motorsport. But the physics will definitely be the same as usual. People love the physics - they're not going to monkey with that.
