    DUDE! This is genius!
    Man I would pay you to help me figure out how to add a plexiglass door and shelves on the inside...of course I'd be making it a little larger lol.
    There are tons of people using Ikea display cabinets (metal & glass) as small indoor greenhouse. But I need one at least 16" deep and can't find anything that will work. Been trying to figure out how to make my own using aluminum tubing.... but I can't figure out how to add a door. I don't even know what to Google for the type of hardware I could attach to the aluminum tubing to make it work.
    If you have ANY ideas, I'd seriously pay for your time.

    Also what's the difference between "tight" fit and "loose" fit they have listed on their site? I'd think you'd want all fittings to be tight no?

    • @moxitec360
      @moxitec360  Год назад

      Hi Emily, thank you for the question! The difference between "tight" and "loose" fit is that the tight fit tubing is designed to be put together with the connectors and not taken back apart. The loose fit tubing is used in applications where you would need to put together a frame and take it back apart several times.
      If you have any additional questions please visit the website - moxitec.com/ - go to the contact page and send us an email. One of our sales representatives would be happy to help!

    I was thinking of doing something similar to make a kind of sofa. Since it's going to be much wider than a cube, I was wondering If I'd need to add diagonal tubes aswell and, if so, if there was a type of joint that would work for that.

    It would be helpful if you had any type of "weight rating". Obviously I understand that one could make any number of different size frames, which would vary the amount of weight or capacity of the system, but would be nice if there was even a rating scale to consider.

      Hi Jan,
      Moxitec's aluminum tubing and joints are strong and rugged. They are designed for both indoor and outdoor applications. Each application is unique, which means that the strength is dependent on the configuration of the combined components. We recommend testing to determine how to best fit your application.

    I would like to build a rectangular cube as a frame for my backpack using your L-tubes and 3-way nylon joints, but I would like to add 4 legs underneath the cube so the backpack sits off the ground. Is there anyway to do this? (a 4-way joint would fix my problem but I understand you don't manufacture those)

      You can't have 2 different metals touching each other. It'll corrode them fast. Look up galvanic corrosion.
